I've been hacked twice and NFCU was quick to stop the stupidity, take control and issue me new cards, get my funds restored VERY fast, and get us back to normal. It's a rarity that I actually get in the teller line nowadays since the NFCU app is pretty robust to do check deposits with a snap of a photo as well as easy $ transfer from/to any NFCU accounts. I have been very happy with my past engagements with NFCU's loan (mortgage, auto) departments and like the immediate responsiveness of their credit card fraud department when they flag potential fraudulent transactions. I do miss that NFCU no longer has coin counting machines (allowed customers to have their coins counted and deposited directly into NFCU accounts) in any of their branch locations.

We did end up refinancing to a lower rate and everyone was very professional- so no complaints there. My only wish would be for them to have a better technology base-- you can make online payments from your own bank but they don't have an electronic system of their own (they provide printed payment coupon books!). The website is not very feature-rich- you can get a current balance but that's about it. Additionally, I am in the process of considering getting an equity line and they do offer competitive rates. However, unlike other banks that issue a debit card for the equity line (which can be used in retail stores), Everhome will issue a paper check of the funds which you request from your equity line. So it's not very user-friendly.

I had used them when I was local in Jacksonville but I recently moved out of town and I still used them for a new home and everything went great, I now have a beautiful new home thanks to TrustLine. As far as the other negative review about not knowing where a closing is, that is clearly the Realtor's responsibility, not your Mortgage lenders. They don't talk to each other in the office and they don't let their client know anything! They didn't even tell me where the closing was. My wife and I showed up at their office and were informed the closing was somewhere else, luckily it was in the same building. Everyone I had been dealing with were out of the office when my closing was scheduled, and no one even stopped in during the process. I used them to try and keep my business local, should have used and internet company. Never even got a thank you for my business. And the bonus to all this is they lost two pieces of sensitive information, including a copy of my w-2. If I have any issues with identity theft I will be asking them how they plan on fixing it. Would not recommend to anyone!!!!!
