A few months after the transfer, I had a question about selling my car and using a rental temporarily. I called his office, left a message, and never received a callback. I decided to visit his office two days later to get some answers. During the visit, I asked whether I would be covered under my existing policy while using a rental car after selling my vehicle. Lee Corbin couldn't give me a definitive answer. He kept using phrases like "Technically, it should work this way," followed by "You won't know until it happens," which confused me more. I left still unclear about the coverage for a rental car after selling my car, despite the common practice of a grace period for such situations. Hoping to get some clarity, I sent a follow-up email but received no response. Tired of the lack of service, I contacted State Farm customer service and explained the situation. They were apologetic and connected me to the Escalation Division, where I had to describe the issue again. The representative was sympathetic, apologized for the experience, and suggested I switch agents, which I quickly did. If your current agent retires and you are reassigned to Lee Corbin, I'd recommend caution. My experience suggests there might be a reason for such an unsolicited assignment.
