Great relaxing cruise along the loboc river, with serving buffet. Choice of food was good.

This cruise is a must-try experience to have on any Bohol trip. The price of admission for the buffet will be well worth it. Not only will you have gotten your money's worth on just the food, but you will also have the river cruise experience, live singing, as well as the cultural sharing program to go with it. Not a lot of tourist hotspots in the country offer this kind of all-encompasing experience covering food, music, and culture immersion. The singing and dancing station towards the end of the cruise was very wholesome and is such a joy to watch. It feels like the whole local community is involved and taking part in welcoming guests and tourists visiting the area. There is also a part of the show where any guest can take part in the dancing of the tinikling (folk dance with the use of bamboo sticks). I strongly recommend the Loboc River Cruise. I know that whatever fee that I paid for will go long towards supporting the livelihood of the people and the development of the area.

I would recommend to experience this at least once. We had a great time. It's P650 per person and the menu is set. You eat as much as possible but if you don't finish it, you'll be fined. There's pancit, shrimp, caldereta, vegetables, pork entrees and dessert. The lunch cruise lasts about 1 1/2 hrs. There's a live band and a photographer. Also, there's traditional Filipino folk dancing.

Good food, amazing staff, live music and Filipino dancing. Add on top of that peaceful and scenic river cruise (talk about IG moments) and what a great way to spend the an hour pver lunch when your visiting bohol. I have seen a lot of vloggers taking this cruise while researching my trip and I was not impressed. Because of this I was sceptical about this part of our day tour to the chocolate hills. But after taking the river cruise I can say that I am glad I did! Please remember to tip staff and performers beside them doing a good job, even the little we can offer as thanks goes a long way. Only downside I experienced is that the river cruise gets pretty busy so there can be a wait after buying tickets

Great activity and lunch in Bohol! We participated in the Loboc Riverwatch Floating Resto, as it was part of a day-tour package that we bought for Bohol. After you get your ticket, you're assigned where to sit and can start getting your food soon after. Food is a Filipino buffet and it was quite impressive. There were a lot of Filipino classics like pancit and adobo, but had a good variety of different items, from seafood entrees to veggies and fresh fruit and desserts. It also included cucumber juice and filtered water. For purchase, you could buy pop or beer. There were a lot of people on the boat, so food would run out, but they kept refilling the buffet, ensuring everyone left the boat tour full! The food alone is worth the money. On the boat is a live band where the singer sang many American and some Chinese songs, and asked the audience to join him in singing. At one point of the tour along the Loboc River, we even stopped where there were Filipino dancers and singers who performed for us and asked us to dance with them. It was quite lively and fun to watch. The hour boat tour goes by very quickly. You get great views of the villages and greenery along the Loboc River. Best views from the boat are at either end of the boat for taking pictures since the boat is full of patrons at dining tables on the sides. I would recommend doing a boat tour while in Bohol.

While the food on this river lunch tour is nothing special, the views and entertainment definitely are. While your having the buffet lunch and going down the river you are entertained my a live singer. You also make a quick stop at a little spot on the river where you can get down and enjoy a show put on by the locals. Going down the river you will see lush greenery, small waterfalls, and just an overall picturesque view. The price for what you get is well worth it.

A must try when you visit Bohol. Food are delicious but not much selection. More on meat so if your a vegetarian, you will have salad. Live band. We passed by a Gotosa -Balsam Dancers. We saw some tourist zip lining. It's fun when you come in a group.

There were four different options for sauce- Redtail Style (buttery, garlic + creole seasoning), Coco Loco, Salted Egg and Garlic Butter. You could also choose the level of spiciness. He was initially satisfied, but unfortunately, the chicken served to us was hard and disappointing. We believed it was recooked, possibly from a canceled order. I complained and asked the staff to try it themselves, but they refused. Without tasting it, they claimed it wasn't hard because, according to them, it had been "pinched" in the kitchen and seemed fine. We were left waiting too long for any real action to be taken. We requested to change the order to shrimp, but their decision took so long that we eventually decided to leave. They gave us a small discount on the 2 pieces of chicken, which we could barely eat. I asked to take the rest home for the dogs, but later felt bad even offering that to them, so we just left it behind. In the end, we ate nothing but the cucumber juice and shake. The rice was taken out, and our total bill was ₱577.50. Not recommending this store - poor service, no proper way of handling customer complaints, and inconsistent food quality.

Though I am not a local, I've literally been coming here for 20+ years when I'm home in Dumaguete. This place I also associate with home because my grandma's house was literally two doors down and we would come here to eat. This place will always share a special piece of my heart as my dad would frequent this place and eat here everyday when he was staying next door. For years my dad would bring his guests here and they would not disappoint. If you want good food, and even better company - rest assured you'll find it here. Shout to the staff and management who cared for my dad, Dodong Manny Garcia, as their own and fed him well. The Garcia family loves this place! Ambiance: you can bring a date, your family, or party with your friends on their live music nights. This place is poppin' and clean. I feel safe here - their bathrooms are clean and their service is excellent. the beautiful thing about this place is that it can even host big parties. We've even had tables of 16+ people accommodations for us. Seating: You have plenty of choices. Downstairs by the stage. Upstairs with a great view of the beach.Bar seating. And even indoor seating in Lab-as. Take your pick! Food: Tapsilog always a fave. They have extremely fresh fish and sell it by the pound. It is soooo tasty I cannot. I love their LapuLapu and an all-around fave is the Bangus lumpia. Fresh mango shakes and calamansi are a must. Alcohol: Take your pick. They have top shelf and local beer. They make extravagant drinks with flames and everything! Drinks here are IG worthy alongside the food. You will go home well fed and nourished. Parking: Be smart about it - there's a lot in the front that people are willing to help park (you're expected to tip) and even better it's not so clustered like it is in South point... this place literally giives you everything you need! Do yourself a favor and stay awhile...enjoy this place and Hayahay through the night because you will be more than impressed by this place. It is a must go to in Dumaguete!
