Filet mignon with mash potato and asparagus

Presentation and service was 10/10. Ambiance was ok but I could hear the people on the dock beside us cursing and the music at the restaurant was going in and out. My husbands filet mignon was good. I had the cayman style lobster with rice. The sauce for the lobster was delicious but the lobster tasted like seafood that had been frozen for a while. It didn't taste fresh. I've had exceptional food on the island and was expecting the same here especially on a $250 dinner.

Goat and pear salad was great! Ceviche was great until we found a long dark hair in it. Overpriced, as is everything on the island.

Food was great and so was the service. As with many restaurants in Cayman, it was expensive.

I want to say thank you for such a WONDERFUL evening for our anniversary. The service, the food, the music, and the atmosphere was a lovely experience. We opted for tapas and the ribeye with the mushroom sauce. We ordered the sizzling shrimp, lamb skewers, pork meatballs, lobster bisque, and the mussels in a cream sauce. The sizzling shrimp were fresh and cooked perfectly in a garlic butter sauce. The lobster bisque was creamy and smooth with a wonderful depth of flavor. The lamb skewers were juicy and it was served with garlic aioli. The pork meatballs were good, but the mussels which were served in a garlic cream sauce was so delicious. We selected the mushroom sauce with our ribeye steak. It was cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce tasted good with both the steak and the mashed potatoes. Wednesday night was Paella night. I didn't get to get any but it sure looked and smelled good. For drinks we ordered the Pornstar martini. It was really tasty slightly sweet with a fruit/mango type flavor. I never had one before, and now I'm a fan. Every single bite was beyond delicious. This was an epic night for my tastebuds which is not an easy feat to overtake. We were her for our anniversary and we were so happy with our choice. At the end of the evening, they offered to call us a taxi to go to our hotel and did. What a wonderful gesture. Overall we had such a lovely time here.

Visiting this time in the winter allowed us to sit outside on the patio without feeling too hot. It was very comfortable (a bit of wind). The servers were pretty friendly and the food was average. We had some sides along with our mains. I had the snapper but I found it prepared a bit dry. The pan fried side was a bit too much making the meat somewhat tough for my liking. The sauce that it was in was nice and the veggies were good. My husband had the ribeye and he said that it was ok but he prefers more flavour and better char. I liked the Brussels sprouts and Cesar salad. The mashed potato was interesting as it tasted like it had sour cream mixed in? Overall ambiance: 4 Service: 3 Food: 3

Ms. Piper's is right next to the Hampton Inn. The taxi driver recommended it when she dropped me off, and the front desk helped me secure a reservation. I was seated quickly after a pleasant greeting. Even though there were empty tables, the ones that were occupied had smiles and joy on people's faces. The place definitely lives up to its slogan, "share the love" -- I felt it. I started with a cocktail called La Vie en Rose, which was especially fitting since it's one of my favorite songs to sing. My server, Juanjo, was friendly, always smiling, and gave me great recommendations. It was a very relaxing experience. Watching him move around his tables, I noticed he was smiling even while clearing dishes. He moves with vitality and lifts the energy of the whole place. I told him so. The butterfly snapper was beautifully done -- both taste and presentation. The croquettes were tasty with the sauce, and the pepper had just enough spice to remind you it's still a pepper. A good combination. I ended the meal with a cup of rooibos tea. Highly recommended. There are so many dishes to choose from -- and the meal I had was definitely too much for one person!

I hadn't made any reservations for the first night since I didn't know if we would be up for going out. Or at least I thought so until ms pipers called to confirm our reservation. Our family of 5 agreed that everyone was up for dinner out. Ms pipers was a short cab ride from where we were staying on 7 mile beach. The atmosphere itself is super fun and the live music really added to it. We started with drinks (glass of Reisling for me) and a few appetizers. We shared Mediterranean plate and hamachi (yum) appetizers. For our main entrees 2 of my kids ordered the Smashburger and my son and I both ordered the shrimp with sourdough bread. And my husband went with the Korean bbq ribs which were quite delicious from the few bites I enjoyed. The shrimp was also one of my favorite meals in grand cayman. Everyone wanted dessert, but my son was begging to get home for the bears game so we got the dessert crepes to go which were SO good. Highly recommend if visiting grand cayman!

There is live music, at least the Saturday night we were there, lovely background music. As for the food, I have not had a bad bite. It's the Cracked Conch, so you have to try conch. We had the ceviche, which was delicious, light and refreshing. For mains, my husband had the fish special, a tuna, cooked rare, spiced perfectly. I had the crab cakes, lightly fried, and delicious. We never eat dessert but tried the apple, it was a beautiful white chocolate green apple, with an apple, cream, crumble filling. Beautiful and tasty! Definitely worth a visit!

But this was worth the cab fare. My family agreed that grand cayman has the best bread baskets and cracked conch was no exception. It was a big basket that disappeared pretty quickly. We started our meal with cracked conch , which we figured had to be good here. I loved conch when visiting the Bahamas and Caribbean growing up but it was the last thing I ate in my teens before getting super seasick on a boat and then my conch days were over. I decided I could give it another shot 30 years later and it was delicious. We also shared a delicious Cesar salad to start - the only type of salad my kids eat so we had a lot of them during our vacay. For my entree I went with the conch chowder and octopus. I ate all the octopus (delish) but that filled me so had just a little bit of the conch chowder which was pretty good. My husband also raved about his mahi mahi. My kids ordered off the "big kids" menu and went with the wagyu beef and frites which they seemed to like. They had been eating seafood all week so this was a nice change for them. Our waiter was very on top of his game and great with the kids- probably because he has 5 of his own. We thought the service was great everywhere in grand cayman and this was no exception. This was our last dinner in GC and I think we saved the best for last

The food is definitely the highlight here. The drinks were just okay and didn't really stand out, so it's probably best to stick with wine or beer if you're ordering beverages. It lacked the richness, spice, and depth that define it. Instead, it felt diluted and unfinished, as if the key elements never made it into the pan. The "curry goat" was even more disappointing. The sauce was thin to the point of being soupy, with little to no curry presence. The dish had no body, no warmth, no layering of flavor just water where there should have been depth. Even the rice was off, adding nothing to salvage the plate. These are foundational dishes in Caribbean cuisine. To miss the mark on both so completely is not a small oversight it's a fundamental failure in execution. I've included photos for context, because the presentation reflects the experience.
