The worst customer service ever. They sent a 40 cubic foot dumpster with a hole in the front that we needed to fix as glass and nails etc were falling out into our driveway and the neighbors road (cul de sac) area. Called regarding this issue said the would assess the issue when they picked it up. They were suppose to call to let me know then they would drop off the roll off. They never called. Then I asked them to pick up on a Monday ( one week later). I called them 4 times Monday to find out when they would pick up . I never received any real answer. The dispatch said she would call me with a time frame when she talked to the driver. No one ever called me. I waited around as I wanted to ensure that the damaged rolloff was assessed. No one poked up the toll off Monday. They came Tuesday morning without warning or calling. I was not present for the pick up, I emailed my concerns. On a $2200.00 bill they compensated me $25 for my trouble. That is so ridiculous - a joke. We spent an hour cleaning up glass and debris because of the rusted out hole. We patched up the hole with carpet remnants and duct tape. Made numerous calls to rectify and ensure everything was on track. Took time off from work to ensure someone was around for the pick up of the roll off since that was when they would assess the damaged roll off. Over a month ago rented a regular 10 footer. They deliver a low boy. Called multiple times to complain about not only the wrong one being delivered but it not being picked up within their set time frame. Luckily they said no extra charges for the late pick up as that wasn't our fault. Over a month later get charged an extra 112 dollars. I call and they say it was "overweight." It took over a month to determine that? Then I bring up the wrong dumpster delivery, in which we spoke to someone about and were told they compensate us. Operator says she has to contact the dispatcher and will call back in 30 to 60 minutes. No call back. Save yourself the issues and go somewhere else. THE PRICE IS NOT AS ADVERTISED! This company is anything but local. It's just a website that takes orders and passes them on to various independent operators around the country while likely taking a hefty commission. The website asks for a zip code but doesn't use your location in calculating the cost. I ordered a 20-yard dumpster for their advertised price of $599 plus tax. Shortly after placing my order, I received an e-mail stating there would be an additional $187 fuel surcharge due to the distance from their location to my residence. They gave me the option to cancel but my plans didn't leave time to shop around for another vendor. To be fair, the local company that provided the dumpster was great. They delivered what I ordered and on time. Do yourself a favor and DON'T rent a dumpster on a web site. Find haulers that are actually near you and call them. You'll get a more accurate quote and likely save some money in the process since they won't have to pay a commission to someone else. read more

They give you an exact quote on their website with inputting the exact delivery address just to call you a couple days later and tell you that there is an extra two $300 charge. DO NOT USE! When I went online and rented the dumpster on Saturday April 15, your website clearly read that you had 23 dumpsters available! Right now, when you go to your website there are still exactly 23 dumpsters "available". This is false advertising! You also had me wait all morning for the dumpster that was supposed to arrive today AM; all in vain. I could have contacted another dumpster company, but your inaction has cost me 2 full days of work. I have used your services before, in October of '22, to be exact. Rest assured that I will NEVER use your services and I will leave the review you really deserve. This company is an absolute ripoff! They give me a price for delivery, two weeks later. Took my money immediately, then I get an email saying, oh yeah, we also take an additional 300 dollars for a deposit until we get our dumpster back. 13 days later, late afternoon of the day before delivery, I get a call saying we don't deliver to my area because of past dumpster problems in my town??? WTF! So after waiting two weeks, they canceled my delivery the day before, then told me that I would have to wait up to two weeks for a refund. I got my 40-yard dumpster from Local Dumpster 411. Those guys were pretty good on the price but the most important they were on time. They said they will deliver it at 8 am, and the guy was at my location at 7.45 am. In the construction business, it is very unusually I can tell you that for sure. I hired this company to deliver a 10 yard dumpster. It came two days late and was picked up two days late. After paying the initial fee of $550, I was charged an additional $150 per ton of dirt that added up to An extra $1200 due to An overweight charge. You're only allowed, 1 ton of debris which would fill the dumpster 1/10th. The extra costs were not accurately or explicitly described on the website or by person I spoke with on the phone. I should've been a smarter consumer, but this company needs to do a better job of explaining their extra fee system to customers. read more

TOTAL GOUGING BAIT-AND-SWITCH DISHONEST RIPOFF COMPANY. On Friday, October 14, 2022, I reserved a 40 yard dumpster to rid my property of all the debris and household items destroyed in Hurricane Ian, for drop off on October 18, and pick up on October 20. According toLD411's site, the total cost was $709.14, which would have been a good, competitive price, albeit not outside the range I'd been finding elsewhere. Three days later, on Monday, October 17, the day before my dumpster was supposed to have been delivered, I got an email from LD411 stating that they had tried to call me, but that my phone had gone to voice mail. Funny thing, since THERE IS NO RECORD OF A CALL FROM THEM ON MY PHONE. The email then continued, stating that due to "shortages", they couldn't deliver a 40-yard dumpster, but they could deliver a 30-yard dumpster -- FOR AN ADDITIONAL $600, due to "fuel surcharges"! Not only that, but when I checked to see if they'd already charged my debit card, I saw that they not only had taken the $709.14 I was quoted and had a "reservation" for, but had also debited an additional charge of $300, purpose of which is not and was not clear. So they promised and "reserved" a 40 yard dumpster at a quoted price of $709.14, CHARGED me $1009.14, then tried to get me to settle for something 25% smaller for a grand total of $1609.14!! In short, I ordered a 40-Yard Dumpster. They dropped a 30-Yard Dumpster. I was charged over $900 for the 40-Yard Dumpster. They called the day before delivery to tell me they had to add $100 to the order do to it being out of their service area (it was in their service area when I ordered it). They then billed another $300 for being over the tonnage of the 30-YARD DUMPSTER I did not order but they gave me. In all, $1,069 they charge me without ever giving me what they agreed to. I needed another one and called Waste Connections this time. They actually dropped off a 40-Yard Dumpster, picked it up, and charged me less than $500!! Called this company to have a 40 yard dumpster delivered. Their website boasts $949.00 for this size. I order a dumpster then I get a call the next day saying that the landfill is charging $200 more for the max tonnage on this dumpster and they are going to charge me an extra $200. I asked why I'm being charged for extra weight when I don't know that I'll even fill the dumpster. After all sorts of run around they said, it's not the weight, it's the volume. Okay, but still I may not fill the thing. I asked for the landfill name so I could confirm that they are telling the truth. Of course, they don't give me a name. This company is horrible! They will scam you out of money. I ordered and paid for a 20- yard dumpster for a home renovation....It arrived a day late. Then halfway thru my 10 day rental it was picked up without my knowledge or request. I have called numerous times to see why it was picked up and get some of my money back as the dumpster was not full when it was picked up. They will not connect me with a supervisor and no one will call me back. Then last night they charge me an additional 150 dollars saying it was over the weight limit when picked up. There is no way, it was not even full and all that was in it at time of pickup was carpet, padding and cabinets. We still had a lot of renovation materials to put inside. They have horrible customer service and basically do not provide the service you pay for. They will not do anything about picking up the dumpster when I had 4 days left on my agreement and will overcharge you without your consent. read more

I love to give positive reviews, however, this company does not deserve one. I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a dumpster on Thursday Aug 9th, for it to be delivered on Sunday Aug 12th. I called them on Monday Aug 13th to inquire why the dumpster was not delivered when I ordered it, and really needed it. I was told they probably don't deliver on Sundays. Ok, probably? Then why does it allow you to set that time up and they charged my credit card. The dumpster arrived on Tuesday, 2 days after I needed the dumpster. To make things worse, the dumpster was not the correct dumpster I ordered. I could not use a construction dumpster that was extremely low on the sides and the tag on the dumpster from the company excluded almost every item I needed to dispose of in the dumpster. I called Localdumpster411 back and reported not only was the dumpster 2 days late, it was not the correct dumpster, that I wanted a refund, and to pick up the unused dumpster. They did come pick up the unused dumpster the next day. It is now September 4th, and I have called them several times to only be told they have to check the report and they will get back to me within 2 days. It is like ground hog day every time I call. I had to resort to calling my credit card company to have it credited back. I will never use this dumpster service again, and I encourage others to think twice.
