Mahi fishing was on my husbands bucket list so we had to make it happen. Not only were they willing to start early, they were over 20% CHEAPER than the other company I found. As soon as we arrived, Capt. Justin & Turtle were prepared for Mahi fishing with live bait, lures & anything else we might need. The boat was clean & comfortable. Turtle explained everything we'd be doing & answered all of our questions as we were heading out. Once the action started, Captain Justin and Turtle worked together like a well oiled machine. This crew literally made my husband's dreams come true (and also got us back early enough to enjoy some of the fish we caught before our flight home). *disclaimer: it's called "fishing" and not "catching" for a reason, but Capt. Had I only gone out 1 day I could have chalked it up to a bad day of fishing, which happens! After 3 days and having no keepers to show for it...at this point it's the Captain not being able to put you on the fish! Had plenty of luck on a different boat. Day 1: Caught 5 fish none bigger than 6 inches in about 3 hours of actual fishing time. Day 2: Got completely skunked! Not a single fish. Day 3: Caught 2 fish both 5 to 6 inches. Very disappointed in the new management. Party boat fishing isn't about landing trophy fish but they should be able to put you on the hot spots to at least catch fish. Sadly, Sailor's Choice in 2026 is not the boat it has been for me in years past! I can no longer recommend this and suggest you look elsewhere for your party fishing boat trips. The catch table picture says it all. That was the best day for the boat of the 3 days I went out!

We were a three generation family and everyone had a great experience. We went out fishing for Snapper and got lucky and landed a 55" king Mackerel. We credit Elmo and Jessica for landing the fish. The fish Took all of the line on the spool and Captain Elmo was calm, cool and collected and was able to tire the fish. Once he was able to start reeling it in, he handed the rod back and we brought the fish to the boat. Jessica was able to Gaff the beast on the first attempt, which is not easy. The beautiful views, peaceful surroundings and just being out on the water was exactly what we came for. Entry was $8 per vehicle, plus a 50¢ per person surcharge. Our group member is a veteran so he was able to get us all in for free with his military park pass. The staff we came in contact with were super friendly and provided us a map and what to expect for the day. All in all, a great place to explore and relax when you want to experience the Keys without the sandbar flex.
