Peoples Tap offerings

Local Honey is one of the better coffee shops in Greenville! It's situated right off the Swamp Rabbit Trail. It's also a unique concept as the spot switches its offerings after 3:00pm when it becomes the beer and wine bar (The People's Tap). Local Honey offers several specialty coffee and matcha options as well was food. I've had both and can attest they're yummy. They also do pour overs and really take pride in the quality of their coffee. Their beverages are served on a tray with a glass of water and some floral decoration, which is a great touch. It's almost as if they're encouraging you to stay a while. I also was given a complimentary ice cream with pumpkin sauce during one of my visits and it was so so so good!!

It's got it all! Food Service and AMBIANCE. WELL, it's its right on the water so by default its ambiance is relaxing, but the little dried flower vase delivered with your drink just adds a touch of magic. Coffee is excellent and I had the burrata toast. Two thumbs up. I'd give it three but I'm short one thumb.

Outside -right by the river

Coffee shop along the River. Inside and outside seating available. Staff was super friendly. The hubby had a hot Saffron & Cardamom Latte and I had a Latte sweetened with cinnamon blade. I sampled both-delicious. It's peaceful to sit and look out at the river. Atmosphere is urban yet relaxing despite the background music that was a little loud. We both had the Hotcake Special. It was amazing. Sort of a cross between a pancake and a sponge cake with a hint of vanilla. It was so light and fluffy and just made your taste buds happy. The ricotta and fresh fruit was a very nice bonus. Located behind the elevator in the Public parking garage.

Matcha latte

Super cute spot. Enjoyed the best matcha here!!! My husband and I stumbled across it during our run and actually loved it so much we came back later in the day. The matcha is ceremonial grade and they have milk alternatives. Service is friendly and fast. Would definitely come back when visiting the area again!

Hot matcha latte with a cool breeze, water flowing and pups by my side. Amazing experience on a spring morning.

Incredible service. Amazing experience having a hot drink and a filling breakfast out by the water. The employees are extremely nice and I even got to bring my pups along.

What an amazing study spot! So cute - tasty lattes with gorgeous presentation, and plenty of seating (near windows & with outlets)! Super attentive and kind services - always coming to refill water, and quickly flip tables for customers to sit in. Fun vibes and great ambiance - will be back again!

Set in downtown, Greenville, right by Liberty park, STB is absolutely charming in decor & coffee…read moreshop vibe with various big comfy couches, coffee tables, unique art on the walls, lovely brick and stone walls. Ambiance is 10/10 and the place is way bigger than I thought based off the storefront. Was greeted warmly & good explanation of the signature drinks. Mama Mia amore was decent, but latte art can use a bit more refining. I ended up ordering the maffioso to go as well to get through the last day of my work trip ‍ Pastry (bagel) was also okay, nothing too special. The most hilarious thing happened to my coworker though. We all requested oat milk substitutes in our coffees, but he got a coffee with oatmeal instead, which was super dry. We will be laughing at him for a while

When we went, the service left a lot to be desired. A man with earbuds in was behind the counter…read moreand never looked up to acknowledge us. Another man looked and disappeared. A woman called us to the other end of the counter and took our order...finally. Our drinks were mediocre and overpriced - plus my husband's hot latte was served iced. It wasn't even busy! Although it's a cavernous space, one man decided it was his office and was making a lot of sales calls, so we were treated to hearing that unless we moved to the back side of the business. Next time, we'll save a few bucks (and our sanity) and go to Starbucks across the street! We like to support local businesses, but this was abominable.

This one was a shocker for sure…read more After a few poor bakery attempts i decided to stop by methodical as a last resort to at least get a cookie or something. When I arrived they had a generous variety of laminated pastries, cakes, cookies, and so on. Not just a bunch of laminated stuff which is the new trend. I ordered 2 cookies (ginger and oatmeal) and a bread pudding. They even warm the pastries up for you if you ask!! Both cookies were delicious. They had a crispy edge with a soft chewy inside, not overly sweet but very well balanced. Really everything you could ask for in a cookie. Next was the bread pudding. Which is made with "old" croissants. I was on the fence and almost didn't order it because some people over due the sweetness. Again it was perfect. I had to force myself to stop eating it. When I passed back through 2 days later it was my first stop for more delicious treats. And I was so upset and almost lowered the review score because they didn't have more of that absolutely mind blowing bread puddling. But realized that would've been me being childish. So I gave them all 5 stars which the fully deserve. This is a must visit and anytime I pass through Greenville I'll be making a pit stop
