We ordered three different pizzas and the breadsticks. They were all great. It's definitely one of the better gluten free vegetarian pizzas I've had because they didn't skimp on the toppings. I don't know why gluten free veg pizzas are always so sparse. Service was good but sadly they were out of the pear cider that was in tap. While I waited to close and be able to move into the house I was purchasing in Wenatchee, I was stuck between my home in Ellensburg and Chelan. When you add in that much driving, stress, and my crazy work schedule, you can only imagine how much pizza I ate during that time frame. Normally, I can't eat pizza all that often but Local Myth is the exception. I absolutely adore this place, and is hands down one of my favorite pizza spots of all the places I have EVER lived. It didn't matter if it was delivery or eating in this pizza was the cure for the longest day and the perfect celebration for landing a huge client. They have a great wine list that features all of the local wineries and the salads are fresh and delectable and even have your choice of anchovies, which on occasion have a spot on my palate. I get bored with anything standard, so even pizza has to fight hard to get and then fight more to keep my attention. I don't like games or non-dependibilty so you have to follow through each time in order to truly win my heart. Local Myth provides this on a pizza level. The menu is extensive, creative, and mouth watering, it has seafood pizzas, cilantro, jalapeno, artichokes and lots of other mouth exciting ingredients. They combine these ingredients in exciting mouth provoking ways. My personal favorite is the Warner Brothers which is a spicy shrimp pizza with tons of cilantro! The inside of this place is also very charming with red checked tablecloths, waiter service, open kitchen, and is much more intimate then your normal local pizza place. This place will always share a place in my heart as memories of closing on my home, landing clients, sketching out landscape plans, and lazy evenings with wine and movies were all made around a Local Myth Pizza box. So next time you are boating, wine tasting, or just frolicking in the water make sure to check out this pizza yumminess by either delivery or eat in. It is small so if you are wanting to eat in come early, call in or put a smile on your face and be prepared to wait. read more

We went for lunch today and the waitress dropped our entire pizza onto my daughter's lap. I know accidents happen but my daughter required an ice pack for the burns on her leg and it ruined her shirt and shorts. They remade the pizza for us and it was good. I would give them a good review if they had offered to comp our meal but when we were done eating, they brought us out our bill! When I told the waitress I was shocked they would charge us for our meal after what happened, she said "fine" and we left without paying. Like I said, the food was good and we would go back if they would have done the right thing without us having to ask. read more

This is the place to get your pizza in town. All of the locals are here and it's quite crowded. It's fun to eat at the little bar that faces the street. We got pizza margarita. Next time we would ask for light on the cheese but it was very good with a thin crispy crust. read more

We got pizza to go from here over the weekend and it was pretty tasty! I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza myself. The large pizzas are huge which is nice for a big group. My only complaint is that we ordered a hawaiian pizza and it came with olives. That really should have been explained upfront as everyone in the group picked the olives off cause they don't like olives. read more

The place smells YUMMMAY from down the street. The place is sorta small so when they're really busy you'll probably have to wait to get a table. I had the LMCB (i think that's what it was called) it's basically a hawaiin and my husband had The Combo. They were both REALLY delicious. We were both super hungry so we both ordered a small because we wanted something different and we were only able to eat half of our pizzas so we ended up taking a "whole" pizza with us when we were done eating. I'd say a small can definately be shared by two people but if you're SUPER hungry and you could eat, I'd go with a medium. Their pizzas are thin crust and are certainly gourmet. They're not fatty and greasy leaving you with an icky "i'm going to have a heart attach" feeling. You should most definately try this place out if you're around the area. Oh! and i had a coke from Mexico - made with real can sugar! :-) I liked it. I could definately taste the difference and i kept the bottle as a souvenier. =] read more

Recently stopped by with two family's. We stood for over five minutes without anyone acknowledging we were there. I finally found a server and asked for a couple tables she informed us that we'd have to wait for a hostess. During our wait two other groups that were waiting decided to pack it up and leave with much grumbling. We waited about five more minutes until I found a hostess and asked if we could eat here. She literally said "I guess". Once we were seated the service was much better. Ordered the slice of the day for the four adults and one medium pizza for the kids. We did receive the wrong order on one slice of the day but it was mine and it was delicious. Overall I would give them another shot due to the excellent food. Found this place after walking the streets on a Wed. Night. Awesome atmosphere and decor for a pizza joint. Love the fact they actually had a bar, since I was by myself attending a conference at Campbell's Resort. Great on-tap beer selection and quick/friendly service. The food was delicious but the service was beyond terrible. The male waiter and bartender were super rude, wouldn't even put us on a list to wait for a table. Then we waited 45 minutes for a table, had to get our own menus, were served warm water, and the salad we ordered didn't come until after the meal. This place has been incredible since it's inception. There's at least 3 pizzas I have trouble choosing between because they're so freakin' good. Grabbed pizza take out for the second year in a row here, and it did not disappoint. Got a combo and bbq chicken. Both were fantastic and perfectly cooked. The timing was exactly as promised. Went here at 6pm, found a line outside and a sign that said "see server inside for seating" (or whatever it exactly said). Went inside, stood in entry area - there is no obvious check-in point/person/podium and was promptly ignored for five minutes (along with another patron) by three people that worked there who were too busy talking to each other to even ask I needed any help. So, walked back out the door, and half a block to Westside Pizza, where I was able to get a table and promptly order a pizza. And it was good! :) read more

We stayed in Chelan recently and were trying to find a pizza place that sold gluten free pizzas. We asked at another pizza place in town and they directed us to Local Myth. I'm always excited to find a gluten free pizza and these were pretty darn good and the price was very reasonable. The gluten free only comes in small but that fed my wife and I just fine. Since we had our dog we had to do take out and actually ended up doing that 2 nights while in Chelan. read more

As an east coast native perpetually in search of decent pizza in the Northwest, I'd have to say this place was pretty good. Our party ordered three different pies and each was solid or better. The service was a little odd. The first staff person we encountered was a woman with greyish hair. When I asked her how long the wait was, she replied to the effect that, "We're a pizza place; there's really no wait." I still have no idea what that means. I do have to say that she was patient and flexible in seating us. There were six in our group, and we opted to sit outside. Our host allowed us to combine two tables--one that was within a fenced area where beer/wine could be consumed and another on the outside of the fence where alcoholic beverages could not be served. It worked out fine. On the ground below the table outside the fence was a Slinky (one of those metal coiled children's toys) and a bucket of water with a piece of bread floating on top. This only added to the strangeness of the ambience/experience. The same woman who seated us wound up being our server, and when she came back to take our order, my father-in-law asked how much pizza a typical person ate. Once again, the question seemed perplexing to her and she replied, "I don't know what a 'typical' person is." Again, though, she was very patient as we asked follow-up questions and laboriously put our order together. She was also very sympathetic toward my mother-in-law who was experiencing some discomfort in her eyes, offering to bring out some ice. Just as we were starting to adjust to and even find humor in the eccentricities of our server, a male waiter in his 40s arrived on the scene as server #2. He was pleasant, entertaining and extremely personable, particularly with our two young kids. But then he, too, disappeared. After a good deal of time transpired, a younger woman emerged as waiter/waitress #3. But after bringing the bill, she dutifully followed the tradition set by her predecessors and seemed to fade into the ether, never to be seen or heard from again. After waiting a while, I wound up taking the bill inside to pay at the bar. All in all, it was a positive experience and I eventually came around to finding the quirkiness of the staff more entertaining than annoying. We'd probably return if we ever visit Chelan again. read more

Best place for pizza in Chelan! After walking the town we came across this place after stopping by one of the nearby shops. Checked Yelp for reviews and we gave it a shot. I didn't think we would get seated right away since it seemed that the entire front of restaurant was full but there was an entire back seating! We were seated right away, service was prompt, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. My husband has not had quality gluten free pizza in years! We ordered a spinach salad to share and a medium gf pizza to share. I am so glad we decided not to get our own because the medium was enough for two of us with a few slices to take home. It was a pretty quick meal but we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff, and the food! Definitely coming back the next time we are in Chelan. read more

Disappointed...... been a great place to have a great pizza and calzone. Ordered their take out /bake n take pizza... it was sub par.... pizza crust was so thin and didn't even rise...totally flat. Husband ordered a calzone and it was sub par too..... hardly had any sausage in it , very little cheese. This should be loaded with ingredients. I won't be ordering any take out from them again.
