We popped into local myth based on a recommendation and grabbed a pizza to eat at the beach. Overall, we thought the pizza was ok. We did a large pie and customized it to our liking with olives, pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach and basil. The crust was thin, but pliable and they definitely didn't skimp on the toppings, but we just weren't wowed by the pizza. The price point was quite high and it wasn't anything special. Probably the best pizza in Chelan, but not sure local myth would hold up elsewhere. read more

Myth is correct, the lie that this is a good pizza joint. $25 bucks for a 12" pizza is a joke. The wait is horrible too. A bunch of tourist and stuck up local Celanese. You know the flannel/plaid-wearing ones or khaki shorts and polo. The pizzas are similar to California pizza kitchen but more expensive and soggy. They try to put on "Artisanal" ingredients like baby angel flowers from Unicorn Valley picked at night. Absolutely con job of a pizza joint. Amazing pizza! Came here on a busy Sunday around 1pm and we were seated right away. The inside is busy but decorated well. I ordered the 10" Margarita myth and it was amazing! Normally I need a 12" pizza but I had a couple pieces leftover on this one. It was cooked so well and the flavors combined so well together. Reasonable price compared to other places in chelan. If you're in chelan, you must come here! I also ordered an apricot cider which was really good, and they even brought us chilled glasses since it was in a can. Awesome pizza and service. Long wait but totally worth it. Got the firecracker and it hit the spot. Spicy but perfectly balanced and flavorful AF with loads of fresh toppings to work through. Wedge salad was amply dressed and the combo of ingredients was so nice; dried cranberries a delicious counterpoint to the gorgonzola and blue cheese. I love this place! Every time I visit the area I want to go. We had the chicken cordon blue pizza and the first date pizza, both were amazing. The staff is always friendly and awesome. I'll be honest, this was one of the worst pizzas I've had. I was craving a basic margarita pizza, something I get all the time and never disappoints. All of the pizzas here look and sound amazing, I figured their margarita would be top-notch. However, It got soggy extremely fast, the mozzarella was rubbery, and there was honestly no flavor at all. I also got their version of a "Caprese salad", again, no flavor and not enough balsamic. Found our way to Local Myth while in town for a conference. My roomie was raving about it, and I'm always down for good pie, so in we went. It was PACKED (Friday night), so we opted to order, go check in to the hotel, and come back and pick it up. We got text messages about 45 minutes later, and grabbed the grub. I eat pizza almost every place I go, and Local Myth did not disappoint. I had the First Date, and it was well-balanced and yummy. I might have liked the toppings to go closer to the edge, but not a huge deal. If you're a ranch lover, theirs is excellent. :) Roomie got some kind of vegetarian pizza, but only ate one slice...not sure if she liked it or not, but I'm guessing maybe no? We shared a salad, and what we got was not what we ordered, I don't think. We ate it anyway. It was a little overdressed for me, but the flavors were good. Ordered a gluten free build your own; was shocked by the final prize for a 10" pizza: $25.00. I know and understand the GF is an up-price, but this was pretty shocking. I got light cheese, pepperoni and salt & pepper. Adding basil would have added an extra $2.00. Did a to-go order; pizza ended up being burnt. I understand it can be a bit order to bake gluten free crust, but with that price I wouldn't expect the final product to be of that quality. This pizza is amazing! We came at a busy time and it was definitely worth the wait. Our server took our entire order with omissions and substitutions without writing anything down. How cool is that? The pies came out pipping hot, loaded with all the fresh toppings. I love that their crust was crispy and not greasy at all. We ordered the LMCB, Pepp Crunch, Firecracker, and Sausage 2. They were all very different, and all mouthwatering delicious. The crunchy pepperoni topping was so good! I wish all pizza places offered it! This pizza was so craveworthy that we came back several days later to eat here again on our way out of Chelan, but unfortunately they are closed Sundays. read more

Visited while on a weekend trip to Mount Baker, and I will say this place did not disappoint. The wait is long.. so if you are not super hungry, go ahead and put yourself on the waitlist because by the time your name is called, you will most likely be hungry. We went on a Friday night at around 8 and it was pretty packed, but since it was just two of us we were able to snag spots at the bar right away. The food did take awhile to make.. but it worth the wait. The options are endless - even the pickiest eaters will find something to eat here because they do not skimp on the variety. I forgot which pizza I got, but whichever one it was - was so good! I believe it was the all meat one, and when it came out - it took everything in me not to keep eating even though I was stuffed. The pizza was the perfect amount of cheesy, not too doughy, and fresh hot. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be coming back. They also have a lot on the side with a decent amount of spots, so parking wasn't an issue either. read more

We have been going to Local Myth Pizza here in Chelan for years as we are locals. The pizza is truly excellent and consistently good. Their pizza is better than anything we had in Italy when we visited a year ago. Additionally they have a broad selection of micro beers, cider and wine. On top of the food and drink, their staff, all of them, are outstanding and very customer focused. They are friendly and really want you to have a good experience. You cannot go wrong eating here. Yum Yum Yum.... our Favorite pizza in Chelan! Cute little place - not very much seating so if you want to dine in plan accordingly or prepare to maybe wait for a table. I would expect most business is take out though - which is what we do. The service is good and the pizza is extremely good! The crust is perfection - just the right amount of crispiness! They allow you to customize the toppings exactly how you like them, we always do a half and half so we each get what we like. Prices are average for a pizza place. Deciding on a rating for a restaurant is always hard, particularly when the choice is between four and five stars. This place gets a five star because it was not only good, but exceeded our expectations. This is a fun and busy place. We were lucky and got a seat almost immediately. Others got to wait. They have a nice selection of beers; it is not all IPAs; we enjoyed Dru Bru Kolsch, out of Snoqualmie Pass in Cle Elum. It came quickly, was cold and fresh, just as a good beer should. We ordered the combination. For the crowd and the amount of take out, I was surprised it came as quickly as it did. It was good, cooked to perfection, just a small bit of char on the crust for my wife. Her only complaint was that the mushrooms were not sautéed; I like them the way they were. The ingredients were good. Loved the sausage. There were plenty of ingredients on top, but not too many. All in all, an excellent pizza. We also ordered the Caesar salad. The server knew the size of the serving, so we did not over order. It was a good salad. This is a fun place. I can see it could get crowded during the summer; we enjoyed it very much this spring.
