Locals Lanes is super cute and fun, with very attentive staff, however, the apps we tried were just meh, and for the prices, I wasn't about to try their meals, with the chance of them being just as bland. I'm not quite sure if this is supposed to be a restaurant with the option to play duck pins, or a place known for duck pins, but four lanes is not going to cut it, if they fill up even a quarter of the tables they have. Fortunately we had a small group, so one lane was sufficient. The group next to us utilized the other 3 lanes. Leaving no lanes left. I don't want to sound negative, we did have a blast, but we were very fortunate to come in right at opening time on a Saturday before it got busy. It was also, quite hard to eat on the little tables near the lanes, so I would advise grabbing a bigger table for food, along with a table near the lanes for just your drinks. The happy hour prices were pretty great! $5 a person to play a round of pins seemed reasonable, the drink options for myself didn't excite me, but my husband was happy to grab a few local brews from Frazier Creek! We tried the pretzel sticks and chips and guac. I would not get the guac again, I did like that it tasted fresh, without the preservative taste, but the chips...eek. The pretzel sticks I did not try, but my crew did enjoy them, along with their two dipping options! Which were a great deal on HH also! The option to play pool for free was great and the arcade was a nice extra touch for entertainment! We will be back to play pins! read more

We visited Locals Lanes while on vacation and were excited to spend some family time bowling. The space itself is new, nice, and has a great atmosphere. We also ordered the happy hour pretzel and guac, which were both good and added to what started as a positive visit. When we arrived, I specifically asked about the bowling policy, including whether there were any limits on time or on the number of games we could play. I was told there were no limits and that we would simply pay per game. Our group of five played quickly, and our first game took less than 30 minutes. When the game ended, we asked to play a second game and were told we could not because someone was waiting. That was disappointing because it was different from what had been explained to us upfront. Had we been told that additional games depended on whether others were waiting, we would have understood and set expectations accordingly. We are reasonable, and we would have been fine limiting ourselves to two games out of consideration for other guests. The frustrating part is that because we arrived early and finished first, we ended up being the ones disadvantaged. Our kids spent the first game learning and were excited to play a second round. Meanwhile, guests who arrived after us appeared to have a better chance of playing longer simply because they were still in the middle of their first game. I would return because the place is nice, the food we had was good, and it has a lot of potential. The main issue was not the venue itself. It was the lack of clarity and consistency in how the policy was communicated and applied. Better staff training around lane policies and customer expectations would make a big difference. read more

Loud and fun place to take the family.. 4 short lanes for Duck Pin bowling. Would be fun to tent out for a party. We sat at the bar. Heather was great, drinks were good. Food sub par. It is owned by the Marriott. It is loud so a chill drink and quiet conversation, this place is not that. read more

This place has been on my must go list since I heard about it. Since I live a good hour south i was delighted to know it was in the same parking lot of our hotel we were staying in for the weekend away. So I told my hubby we had to go! It's in a free standing building which used to be a bank. It was a diner feel once you're inside with table along the window front and an open kitchen concept. Half the back wall is the bar and the duck pin bowling area is to the right along with an arcade area behind the bank door. The duck pin bowling area is relative small which is strange based on the name of the establishment. However it was fun and something different for us to try. The ball is tiny and fits in the palm of your hand. You pay per person per game which went relatively quickly so I don't think there would be a long wait if they were busy. We had a few drinks while we were there. I tried the strawberry chili which came in a martini glass made with gin decorated with a tajin rim. It definitely gave a kick of spice and was unique. the bartender was really sweet and gave us an arcade card to play with while we were there. It had a small selection of less than 10 machines but had some retro old school games like pac man and the o.g Mario. After hitting the arcade games we played a few games of pool which were free. We ate earlier in the evening so we didn't try any food but will circle back next time I'm there with family to show them the spot. I'm such a kid at heart and love playing games so this is my type of place to spend the night. read more

It is a great addition to the Marriott. There are four lanes and your group - up to 8 people - can play one lane. We had fun. Kids and adults. Youngest child 4. The food was really delicious and so were the cocktails. It is an old bank building so you'll find the arcade games in the old vault- still has the door on there - pretty neat. There are many tables, a bar, bench seating and booths. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope that this place will inspire another company to make something like it, but on a much larger scale! And, if you'd like to save a few dollars, go during happy hour! read more

Absolutely terrible. We attempted to visit to do something different. We walked in and noticed it's much smaller than they make it appear online. There are only 4 lanes and some tables, maybe 10 seats at the bar. No big deal. Having never visited before, we stood at the entrance for a moment wondering if we had to wait to be seated (no sign at the front to indicate if so) but we saw some open seats at the bar so we decided to have a drink and some food while we waited for a lane. We sat right in front of the bartender. And we waited. And waited. Ten minutes pass, and the bartender has yet to even acknowledge us. It wasn't very busy. There were still open seats around the bar. Eventually, an older couple came in and sat at those empty seats and the bartender immediately acknowledged them and gave them menus and then took their drink order. It had been 15 minutes and not even a nod in our direction. The cash register behind the bar was right in front of me, and she then walked over and a customer approached and wanted to close his tab from a nearby table and she began trying to close him out, couldn't find his tab, called the manager over, they got into a little disagreement right in front of us, and still no one acknowledged our presence right in front of them. At this point, we got up and left, because it's absolutely crazy to sit at a place somewhere this small and not be acknowledged by any member of the staff for 25 minutes. We took our business nearby to a much more busy place with live music, sat by the bar and were immediately attended. Save your money and your time and go somewhere worthwhile. read more

I am from California visiting family in Florida and we came here together for bowling, food, and games. I love the overall atmosphere including layout, lighting, comfortable furniture. A unique little place for adult fun! Duck pin bowling is fun and different than regular bowling! we enjoyed a couple of rounds of pool and there is an arcade located inside a vault. There is a bar and plenty of TV's to watch sports on. We only ordered appetizers , they were good. Their prices are very reasonable and their staff is very courteous. we have returned several times. read more
