A great venue, great experience. I was happy to see a Cure tribute band I knew was good was coming close to South Florida, Stuart actually. It was a little North of us, so we made a weekend of it. We got to the venue a little early. It was a quick entry. Even though we were early it was a older crowd so alot of smart people were early too and grabbed the assortment of chairs. But it gave us a chance to wander a round a little bit. Its a great spot, it really feels like you're in a buddy's back yard. We got our drinks and a pretty good spot on the let side. The band was solid, and the acoustics of the place didn't hurt the sound at all. It was a nice summer night and both bands killed it. The price was right too, from the entry to the drinks. Add in a cool name and you got a place that we will come up to again for a solid band.

I came for a concert and received an experience. This is a nice relaxing atmosphere to hang out and listen to a good band. I didn't try any of the pizza, but I did have some of their locally sourced craft beers. I would recommend the oat milk stout. The stage may seem a little small, but it's definitely intimate. You can get right next to the band members as they're playing. The sound was a little loud at times, but it was well mixed. I can tell the sound engineer had good experience on his board and knew what he was doing.

I had a fun time checking this place out with my mom and dad (who live in the area) we were seeing a cure tribute band, that was very talented! I loved this outdoor space, we were lucky enough to snag a table, so we enjoyed beers and the show! Hope we are able to come back!

What a chill experience here at Terra Fermata for the Shwayzeeeee concert. Beer, seltzers and wine is in the cocktail que, no booze for this boozy lil gal. Outside tables, fun lights, cool people with a dash of spliffs lit made the vibe non judgmental :)) Prices were reasonable, the bar quick, bathrooms are almost always an issue at most venues, this place is no exception. Parking in the street for the most part, we didn't have a problem as they must have known who we think we are :D I'll definitely go again in the future. Thanks Terra Fermata!!! You can trust me, I fit in ;D

Great low key place to see great bands, up close and personal! Atmosphere is great as well. Don't expect glamor but expect and good time for sure.

If you like an uber-casual, sand-floor-dancing music venue, this place is for you! Picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, a bar or two, sometimes vendors and snacks and tons of music. Palm trees, sparkly lights strung up, everyone sharing tables...you get the idea. Sometimes they have a food truck or snacks but you can BYO dinner or have something delivered to the gate if you need to eat. Have seen a number of bands here, mostly older hippie scene from what I've experienced. Have come here not knowing the band but the music has always been great!

Nice outdoor venue, would be nice if there was snacks or food onsite. It's great to have a nightly live music venue in this kind of sleepy area - I moved here from New Orleans y'all. Appreciate it feels like a lil bit of that Big Easy energy snuck into the Treasure Coast.

This place is entirely outside and such a great live music venue. We went to see a cover band on a Saturday night. It cost $10 at the door. There was a large tent setup with fans under it. Nice addition in case it rains and the fans definitely help with warmer Florida nights. The stage is small but you can see it from almost anywhere you sit or stand. There's a long bar and the staff was very friendly and helped with explaining some of the beers and offering recommendations. Prices are normal for craft beer. To the left of the stage was a merchandise area but I wonder if it turns into an actual drink bar for bigger events. The bathroom I used was clean and had eclectic decor. I love the vibe and plan to come back for more shows in the future. Just wish it was closer to home!

For our entrees, I had the seafood platter, my bride had the shrimp scampi. Finally for dessert we shared a slice of the caramel cheesecake. THE ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is on the water with bar seating and white cloth table dining in several rooms. If you're looking for seaside dining Pirates Cove will suite you fine. THE FOOD: Our appetizers... My French onion soup was made like a traditional French onion soup with plenty of melted cheese and oodles of onions. There were plenty of mussels bathed in a delicious white wine and butter base for my brides mussels appetizer. Our entrees... My seafood platter featured a small serving of white fish, which was nice and juicy, two small stuffed shrimp, which were quite tasty, two scallops made properly (not under cooked and slimy or overcooked and rubbery). My brides shrimp scampi featured 5 small shrimp over a bed of linguine. The dish was well made with hints of garlic and butter in the balanced cream sauce. The dessert: Our caramel cheesecake dessert was creamy and rich. THE SERVICE: It's always a challenge for a server to serve large parties, but our server did great. Delivered our drinks in a timely fashion watched over us for any needed refills and clearly explained any questions we had. THE BOTTOM LINE: As always with my reviews, the "customer so what" would I return is complicated for the Pirates Cove. My answer... probably not. Why not if the food was prepared properly, the ambiance was fitting for a seafood restaurant and the service was fine? The answer lies in serving size, price and add on charges. I don't mind paying premium prices for a premium meal but Pirates Cove charged $40 for a seafood platter that should more realistically be called a seafood sampling. At $36 My wife's shrimp scampi should have featured large shrimp instead of the small shrimp she received. And, finally, the add on prices which included a 3% service charge and a whopping 21% tip. I don't mind tipping heavily for good service and our server would have probably gotten 25% if it was my choice. However, I HATE having a restaurant dictate what I'll tip! I understand mandatory tipping for a large party but I've never seen it set at 21%! As for the service charge, it was placed on every bill whether you paid with a credit card or not. One of my guests asked if that was a credit card fee (which I hate as well) and was told if he paid cash, our servers would take that fee off. How many people didn't know enough to ask that question, and end up paying that fee when paying with cash?? I hate underhanded trickery like that and discourage it by not returning. In summary you'll have to ask yourself before dining at Pirates Cove, is the food, ambiance and service quality worth the rest? If it is, enjoy. As for me, I'll skip it. There are too many other great seafood places that will provide quality dining, great service and atmosphere without the unwelcome luggage included.

Their table bench Construction was slightly flawed in that they made the tiki tables just a little too high. However, they came up with a solution to fix feet from dangling by putting a resting bar in the appropriate spot. The tables were well shaded, and there was a place for the kids to play in the back, which made it a great spot for families. I had the softshell crab. It was over fried for my taste, but the oil was fresh so you can taste that the crab was fresh. It was served a large piece of French bread which was disproportionately too big for the soft shell filling, I probably would have appreciated it more if it was served on something soft like a brioche bun. My friend ordered the pulled pork taco tacos. It was too small tacos and she didn't finish them, which told me that they didn't allow her. My sister ordered a fried fish taco. My husband ordered the grouper platter. He was still hungry after he finished it, he thought the serving size was a little skimpy. To rescue his meal he ordered some wings. The waitress described them as just made and that they weren't gonna run out of them tonight, which somehow implied that tomorrow they would. We were unimpressed, they were small wing segments, not like a big oven stuff a roaster part. They were not meaty, best described as dry and skimpy. Overall, I was not impressed with the food.
