We came home from Dallas to a very hot house with the A/C not coming on. We called Lochridge Priest and Jesus Garcia came out. He diagnosed the issue as a bad capacitor and quickly had it ruining again. He also checked the refrigerant level and went back to the shop to get a tank so we wouldn't be without A/C in 93 degree weather. he went above and beyond what we expected. Paid for the yearly maintenance on our 2 units and was told by the lady on the phone he would be here 1 1/2 hours per unit and he was barely here an hour. Another AC company came out to do a repair and said our inside units in the attic were dirty. Called Lockridge Priest two times to question about this and the length of time their person was here and didn't receive a call back either time. Called the third time and finally got someone who claimed cleaning is not part of the yearly maintenance but still couldn't explain to me what would take an hour and a half for them to do when he was only here a little over an hour and should've been here almost 3 hours for two units. Tech inspected broke a/c and thought it might be a wiring harness. Said he would have to order it and it would be 3-5 business days to get the small part. It could have been overnighted which we would have gladly paid. $500 for the part and $900 for the hotel bill for a week. Way too costly! They don't stock parts for Amana, so will try to find someone else. read more

Great customer service. A live person answers your call or you can schedule an appointment online. Notifications were sent so I knew, by a tracker, when the plumbers were in route to my house. Plumbers were very polite and willing for me to watch them work and ask questions. Highly recommend!! read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! This company ripped off my 80 year old Mother in law. Had them come look at her ac unit and they fixed it. On the way out the door mom asked if they could look at her stove. They did and in the end they charged 6 hours time to put in a 20 dollar plug that should take no more than 1 hour. They also took a 10 dollar switch and said they would come back tomorrow to put it on. Mom trust's everyone and went ahead and paid them. The charge for the stove was over $800 and the ac unit was nearly $300. She had to pay $1100 and to this day they never brought the switch back to fix the stove. Management told us the price was fair and when we asked about the switch they told us they do not work on appliances. Just thought you Waco people should know this! read more

Awful company. Levi came out to service a mini-split that they served in 2019 (before Covid) and had leaked. Technician came on-site and said they had never touched the machine before. Told us it would be over $600 to refill and check for leaks. If there was a leak upwards of $1000 to fix it. You could replace the entire unit for that. Give me a break. They don't want to do any actual work. I think their business model is based around driving around town charging people $99 for a diagnosis and then moving on to the next diagnostic charge. read more

The technician shows up and tells me I need a new motor @ $800+ and $500+ for labor , total $1300.00 plus???Wow how do they keep a straight face or stay in business? SHAMEFUL!!! I had been informed by others about this company but they have after-hour sevice.So the next morning I called my usual A/C guy who had been out of town .Keep in mind he had already checked the unit prior to going out of town ,just couldn't get to me till this Friday . I had one of their technicians come out today to look at one of our systems as it was not cooling as well as in the past. He checked the inside unit and I provided a new filter. All looked good inside. He then checked the outside unit and found that it needed a leak check, Freon (refrigerant).... and said he would work up an estimate for repairs in his truck. I asked how low was the Freon on a scale of 1 to 10. He said 10 meaning is was very low. I asked how could it cool at all at a zero Freon level. He said the cool outside weather made the system to work; it was 95°F. The system pumps out 60° air at the vent compared to 50° from my good unit. He worked up an estimate in his truck, took 45 minutes. I finally walked to his truck as he was "just finishing up". I asked why so long to estimate as he must see 15 AC units a day with the same problem. Then he provided the list of 10 or 12 items to fix; totaling well over $1200 and that did not include fixing the Freon line leak. That would require another "estimate ". I paid him the service call of roughly $90 and told him and any other LP would never set foot on my property. read more

These guys are ridiculously expensive. Charged me $59 for a "diagnostic" visit when I already knew what needed to be done. Didn't fix the issue on that visit, but said they would send me an estimate. I got the invoice the next day and it was $376 to install a gas regulator on an outdoor gas grill -- maybe a 10 minute job. I called and asked for a breakout of parts vs. labor, and get this: they said they don't provide that. I said "no thanks". read more

They were very friendly on the phone - although one person we spoke to had no clue what a bidet was! They came out, and again were very pleasant and cheerfully identified about $2,900 of plumbing work that needed to be done. The call out fee was raised from $59.00 to $89.00 for no apparent reason. We called another plumber who reported that some of the work L-P quoted for was unnecessary and their prices were from 50% to 100% over being reasonable. We got all the necessary work done for under $1,000. They also don't pass on messages or listen to what's being requested. read more

I replaced 3 of my units when I first moved into my home and it was about $23,000 and had nothing but service issues the first 2 years! I had Lennox rep, numerous service technicians from LP, sales girl and the service manager multiple times. When the set up service calls they gave a huge window and showed up sometime during the day when they get there. They finally corrected the issues then 6 months later they came out for the fall service and told me that 1 of the a coils needed to be replaced. They gave me a false estimate showing there was a $500 rebate from Lennox. After I did some research the coils that they had sold me was involved in a national lawsuit due to them leaking in a short period. Anyway, I checked with other contractors to find out that this rebate didn't exist from Lennox. Bottom line is they inflated the replacement cost and made it look better by adding this rebate. After all the time they costed me over the first 2 years they still at the end tried to rob me and my family. I went with another company to replace the coil ( at a much cheaper cost) my new contractor showed up on time did the job and has came back for my spring service and I can't be any happier.I would not use LP again!! So your research before spending so much money with this company. read more

This was a terrible experience and we were significantly over-charged. My wife was alone during the day while I was at work. A guy came out to look at what was clearly an electrical issue in a unit less than two years old. He found the burnt out fuse on the switchboard quickly. We ended up getting charged for 2 1/2 hours of labor at $88/hr while he sat in the car for a long time and then drove to get the part (on our clock the entire time). When I called to ask about the charges for a simple straight forward fix, the company managers stood behind the charges and said they ran a full diagnostic on the unit. So I asked if something else goes wrong on the unit in the next 90 days if they would warranty other problems? He said no and they would only warranty what they fixed. Nothing about this made sense to me. I gave this company multiple chances to make the situation right but they refused. Please use another company. Two stars only because they fixed the problem but I have concerns regarding the ethical standards of what constitutes 2 1/2 hours of labor. read more

Do NOT use this company. The tech failed to tell us that he was charging a $133 service fee on top of the $275 he charged to CLEAN the outside unit only. He kept telling us that the company has changed the way they price their services but would give us no detail on this. He proceeded to go through a list of items that needed to be repaired on the air unit and had no idea that his own company had been out early in the year to repair some of those same items at a much lower rate. It seemed he had a prefixed price he was planning to charge and continued to go back and forth from the unit to us to keep adding additional items going wrong with the unit until he reached that amount. He did not stay to make sure the unit was cooling before he left. It seems this company is more interested in deceiving their customers for money than taking care of customer needs and establishing good customer relationships. read more
