Today went like this, woke up, ate breakfast, then waited until my tee time at 6:15 at hickory hill's, got there at 6:05 and got to the club house, the employees were absolutely great, (that's the only reason this review isn't a 1-1.5) anyway, I walked up and had to pay 50 DOLLARS for a round of 9, then after thinking that was absurd, I play and the course is crap, greens with dirt patches in the middle, tee boxes looked like they were smashed in by the hulk, and the cart was the worst ever, don't recommend, spend 30 dollars for twighlight at a much better course, not the worst ever though.

Sadly, this course has declined year after year since we first started coming eight years ago. Lunch was catered by a BBQ spot nearby and was so-so. It was chicken or pork sliders and another restaurant catered the dinner after the game, comprising of steak, beans, salad, slaw, which was also just okay. It's at least a nice course to play on here. Although it fowshurt that it was such a beautiful day for golfing and not too hot either. The course was medium to easy, wasn't very difficult.

As my son is a young adult now, ( +1handicap) the best thing ben did was teach my son how to tweak his game, and the lessons learned years ago , gave him a love of golf and the ability to fix his mistakes with the golf swing quickly on the course, , you don't want to take lessons forever , with ben you will have that solid base to become the player you want to be .

There are also a ton of Canadian geese throughout the course. You should use a golf cart instead of walking unless you don't mind stepping into Canadian geese poop. It is ALL over and really disgusting. The owner should invest in a nin-toxic chemical to quickly dissolve the poop. Nothing spectacular this is an average place that fits the bill.
