Saving money is not number one when looking for good security. Then I paid him to fix the sliding glass doors. The owner also helped me with hurricane shutters that would not close. He explained that shaking them and moving slowly while holding the upper and lower part of the accordion shutter works best. The prices were reasonable and the value for service received was good. I called Joe at PBC Locksmith, and he said he could be there in a half hour! He showed up just on time, was super friendly and really knowledgeable! The deadbolt was completely broken so he took that out and replaced it, and was able to just rekey the bottom lock. From start to finish he was probably done in a half hour, and simple payment through credit card. I will definitely be keeping his number in case any other lock emergencies should arise! They explained that we needed to get a letter signed by mom that gave us permission to enter her residence, and we needed a copy of her driver's license. After we obtained a letter and a copy of my mom's driver's license, we again called the number and were told a locksmith would be at her home in about 20 minutes. After 20-25 minutes Yuri arrived. He helped us get in quickly, (less than 15 minutes,) and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. The total cost was $165 and Yuri was very friendly and helpful. I Googled locksmith near me and called 2 places that were suggested and sponsored by Google. I spoke with a agent or whatever and they didn't give me instant estimate. What they did was ask for all the information and proceeded to tell me that they would pass the details to an specialist who would call me. I was called about 10 minutes later and they told me 95 starting and the second told me 120. Now I have a 2004 mazda 3 sedan and I didn't have nor was going to pay that much for that. I can make a spare key and program it for that price. Also I could've broken a window and replaced it for 100. I looked on offer up and saw an ad and immediately was replied and Ariel asked for my number he called me within 5min of the initial message and I gave him the make and model of my car and my location and he quoted me 60 and said he could be there in 20 minutes. I told him I had to come up with the money and he was kind enough to wait and keep the same price even at 8pm when i received the money. He came within 15 minutes when he said about 30 minutes and was careful and efficient. Definitely would recommend him for anything and everything regarding locksmith services. Finally got it our after about an hour of fiddling with everything I could think of ... WD 40, dish soap, etc. but didn't want to go through it again. Called and got a strange recording. Within minutes I got a call back and ended up texting with Sharon. She was patient and asked questions, and within a short time indicated someone could be at my house in about a half an hour, discussed what was the likely problem (something to do with pins in the mechanism), discussed replacing the component and the cost. They arrived a few minutes before the half hour estimate and the replacement was completed and they were out of here in less than 15 minutes. Now can leave house knowing the front door is both secure and I will not have problems getting my key out. Better yet, no delays while fighting to get the key out and can get to appointments on time.
