Wow! I couldn't be happier! Apparently, the key we had (Honda Civic) is a replacement, just a physical key no beeper stuff, so he cut a new one, that has the electronic functions that work! Huzzah, an actual fob key! (The trunk function still does not work, but whatever; I think that's the car.) Not only does that work, but he sprayed some schmutz into the door lock, and it works again! Problem: Key to Honda Accord 2006 wont go in all the way into the keyhole on driver side and into the ignition. I read online and tried all sorts of things I have found like spraying WD40, wiggling the key aggressively, turning the steering wheel while trying the key on (the steering wheel never really got locked but I figured it was worth a try), meditating, deep breathing and praying-over before putting the key in (which btw worked several times prior) Haim (owner) was always quick to respond. I inquired April 15 and within minutes I got a response and a quote! For the most part I was relieved I didn't have to have the car towed anywhere. And him responding almost immediately is heaven on earth at that exact moment! A feeling of relief is just an understatement! So the keys will work intermittently. Two days later, I was most definite the keys won't work anymore. So I messaged again today, April 17, on yelp to schedule the repair and wanted it done same day. Consistently, Haim replies and confirms he can within seconds! He got things done real quick within 34minutes to be exact. I got two quotes for possible problems. However, since my key has remote that works, he just made me a new key with case and charged half of the lower amount he initially quoted. He was not pushy to get the initial quote despite the fact that I failed to mention about my working remote key. Haim should be at the top of the list of locksmiths for being efficient in responding, quick to address concern, integrity in providing lower cost options and best pricing. Other locksmiths listed on the top 10 either quoted much higher prices or just never responded at all. Some would even make it sound you have a huge problem and difficult to deal with, which made me feel even worse than I already did. Haim's response had a professional tint to it and fairly positive as he discussed possible problems without a hint that your problem cannot be solved right away. I hope this review makes up for not leaving a tip (that I so wish I can afford - i had to split the cost with my sister), I am Breast Ca survivor but still undergoing immunotherapy in the hope that the tumor that transferred to the lungs will shrink. Well all I can say is the work got completed. I had four locks replaced and now I have several keys for the locks that were not keyed to make sure all of them work on 1 main key. Not happy that somebody in the locksmith profession would not take care of keying just 1 lock. Also, for some reason the person that came over my house had some sort of attitude or chip on their shoulder even when offering beverages to make sure he was taken care of. My biggest complaint is that he did not even clean up his mess with the work that he completed. Wood dust everywhere and I am pretty dis-appointed that a worker did not clean up their mess and left my doors all dirty. Also, I have had to go around to each lock and tighten up screws at 10:30pm at night. Pretty bummed out with the service. I am not the kind of person that likes to write bad reviews due to somebodies business. But this is pretty bad. He just gave attitude on the way out the door and didn't even give suggestions on finishing up re-keying the lock. Now I have to hire another locksmith and spend way more money to complete this job.
