Peter is the best. Due to a faulty front door handleset, I've locked myself out of my house - twice! The first time, I couldn't get a hold of Peter; the other guys drilled out 2 deadbolts and it took about an hour. Then, a few days later...I did it again. I was able to contact Peter this time and he performed the same operation in much less time - without having to destroy the 2 existing deadbolts. I called on a desperate Saturday afternoon needing help for my car keyfob that suddenly stopped responding. He did not answer the phone. Some weird confusing phone answering system answered. Called twice. Left a message, eventually. He called back and referred me to call another man "Kenny". At a 949- area code. He said he was "the expert". Kenny answered phone and was a little hard to understand, sounded like he was driving or something, but he would have still been hard to understand. Anyways, he quoted pricing on two different scenarios, one of which would result in getting a "not guaranteed" reprogrammed keyfob , the other, getting a new keyfob. Both prices of which were way more expensive than everyone else I called in that desperate afternoon. So, ultimately, there was no help given, and no help received. read more

Peter Family Locksmith is terrific. My problem was that sometimes it's hard to turn the key of my door, like it gets stuck. It's been like that for a while and I was just living with it. Finally decided to get help with it. Called this place and scheduled an appointment. He arrived on time, took the lock apart in seconds and took the lock back to his car to take a look. We had someone break into our business and I called Peter for help. I was asking him questions to try and figure out what would be the best options for our business. He got very frustrated because I didn't know exactly what we needed done and I was asking questions. He quoted me 60 dollars to remove a lock box. As soon as I told him I was interested in getting the lock removed and not replacing the other lock, as he advised against it that they would still be able to break in, he changed the price to 100 and was very rude about it. He gave me the ultimatum to either agree to pay him 100 or he was leaving. Needless to say, I will look for another locksmith to help us out. Seeing such a high star review, with what type of service was provided, it has to be fake. A real 5 star businessman would never treat customers the way he did. Very disappointed in this company's service. Update: Peter later left a fake review on our business in retaliation for this review. This business will bad mouth other businesses if you leave a negative review. They then add two fake reviews to make their bad one not count towards their overall score. Everyone really what you read about Peter is all 1000% true. Unfortunately I've had to call him quite a few times in the past and again this morning at 5am and Peter was in fact nowhere near the rental. It turns out he later told me he was in LA in a hospital for a family member in the ICU when he got our call. I'm honestly speechless he still came. He said early Sunday morning it isn't easy to get another reliable locksmith and our tenants were waiting outside for help. He still came 45 minutes drive each way for him. I called a ton of others who we super delayed replying or just not reliable or available despite the 24/7 claims. If you're blessed enough to get Peter You will NOT find a more humble honest fairly priced business anywhere else that is as communicative prompt professional gracious smart and humble. Peter finally had to drill the keyhole as our fancy smart keyless deadbolt was stuck would not retract. He swapped a traditional deadbolt in so the house could be secure. Only charged us $20 for the new hardware with 3 keys and $180 for the drive which was more than fair given the time and the distance and he is heading back to his family. He's getting a well deserved tip. I'm amazed at his work ethic and genuine heart to help save us from our lockouts in the midst of this own family crisis. Wow. Thank you Peter.
