She has progressed through multiple levels and with multiple instructors. I can say that there is not a single coach that does not go above and beyond with this skate school. From the staff that works the front desks always greeting you with a smile and friendly conversation to the coaches on the ice that not only communicate how to improve but often times can demonstrate specific skills; the Chicago edge will not disappoint. I will also recommend this skate school as a stepping stone into the hockey world as well. They have a wonderful learn to skate (snowplow) program that does not teach the kids to rely on walkers or their hockey sticks for balance. I would recommend the Chicago edge program to everyone looking to start skating or looking to advance their skills. Julie and Ritsa have put together a well rounded program that will definitely meet your needs.

The original plays- scripts and music are all original- were such fun to watch and the kids adored performing them. They were each performed on a real stage at Dominican University and the highlights of our summer. Camp director, teacher and Actors Garden owner Gigi Hudson is a local treasure who is one of the most loving, enthusiastic and enjoyable teachers I've ever met. In addition to summer camp my kids have also taken Actors Garden classes with Gigi, Dave, Meredith, Jennifer, Angie and Kim since they were in 1st grade. The studio on Lombard is bright and welcoming with easy metered parking and next to the Buzz which is handy for parents who are in need of a place to hang out and grab a Coke while waiting for a class to finish.

This place has a few hockey Rinks inside and this place has a lot of activities going on here as well. Everything about this place is fairly maintained as well.
