Just went to escape Asylum! It was awesome. All 4 in our group loved it. We have done many escape rooms, and this was one of my favorites. There was an actor involved in our escape, and it added an additional element of fun! I would suggest a dark nighttime setting as well to just add to the ambience, but it is by no means necessary. I booked a Game Master for my 10Y son to spend time with his close friend as an experience birthday gift for his buddy. My husband joined in as a chaperone only (just to drive and keep them safe, no helping with the game or anything). With only 2 of them, for the 8-player game, they managed to finish 3/4 within an hour limit. Then the owner chimed in to help out with the clues and extended the time for another 15 minutes for them to finish the game on their own. They were SUPER HAPPY!! This place is a nice, fun, very well setup and thoughtful, well worth the money, and safe for kids (and adults, I'm sure!) especially amid the pandemic. I organized an escape room for my peers. I thought it would be a good opportunity to both have a good time and do a little team-building. To my delight, everybody was really excited about the idea of the escape room and we had a full group. On Friday we arrived and were warmly greeted by our host, Brian. He explained the rules of the game and set us off on our adventure. The room was really challenging and fun! There are lots of different riddles to solve in order to get the clue to solve the next riddle. There's some really clever stuff here! Things are definitely well thought out. I can't tell you too much about spoiling the fun, but everyone really enjoyed themselves and had a great time. I would 100% recommend doing this with your friends, families, or colleagues, and I look forward to going back to do the other room. read more

This place was recommended to us by a colleague and it didn't disappoint. We were a group of 4 and opted for a private event. We'd each done at least one escape room previously somewhere else. Hubby and myself's opinion of escape rooms wasn't great as there were way too many people and it wasn't enjoyable, which is why we did a private one this time. It made a huge difference doing it with a smaller group of people we knew. Each of us had enough to do to make it super fun. We did the hardest room, Double Agent and made it out with about 5 minutes to spare, but we did ask for a few clues. I would definitely recommend this Escape Room as it was so much fun. You have the option to have an actor in there with you (if all are fully vaccinated) and I'm so glad we chose to include him. This place is amazing -- truly a labor of love by the owners, who personally serve as your guides. There are some seriously intricate mechanical props and there's great attention to detail throughout the experience. I've been to another escape room that felt hokey -- in this one I really got into the game. Don't be afraid to ask for hints if you need them. A couple of my brothers & sis-in-laws and I decided to check out Cluedin Escape Rooms over the holidays. I have to admit I was not super excited about it, but ended up really enjoying it. It probably won't surprise anyone who knows me that we picked the insane asylum room. There were a lot more clues and challenges than I expected (to be fair, I didn't really know what to expect though). It was nice that the clues were all very different, it wasn't just a bunch of variations of the same thing. There were riddles, puzzles, codes, and brainteasers. The staff were all very nice and professional. He didn't bother us while we were figuring out the clues but would answer questions or give good hints if we asked. The hints were enough to keep you moving but not so much it was just giving you the answer. Not only are Cluedin Escape Rooms fun, it's also a great way to find out how smart your family & friends are! (Mine did not disappoint me) read more

My family and I try to do a few escape rooms every year, it's become a wonderful tradition of ours. We absolutely loved this room! We played 'Double Agent' which they ranked as an 8/10 difficulty room and also their hardest current room. We finished with about 14 minutes to spare, but had to fight hard for every puzzle. Great mix of combo locks, word puzzles, maps, clocks, and even some physical challenges. I highly recommend this room for all experienced escape room fans out there. read more

The missus and I went there for a date night and we had a great time! The puzzles are challenging but not overly hard and there's someone there to give you hints if you want them. We didn't get out in time, but we didn't expect to. The room was made for up to 6 people and it's easier the more people you have. It was just us two but I think we got pretty far along for just two of us. They were also very good about letting us change the time of the reservation too. I loved Cluedin! We played the Game Master Room last night and while it was a 4/10 on their hardness scale, it was still quite challenging. There were 4 of us total and we were the last reservation there, but the owner made us feel welcome and he was really pleasant! The room is filled with games and puzzles to overcome and we really had to think. The key to the room, pay attention to every detail. Well-done escape rooms (we have been through two of them). Puzzles are not impossible to solve and we made it out of both with a few minutes to spare, which means we almost maximized the fun time we had. The few hints we had to request were helpful, even if perhaps indirect as one would expect. Staff has been very welcoming and instructions crystal clear. In our case, my son and I did complement each other well with what parts of clues helped us solve puzzles, based on difference in background, like more computer game experience on my son's side, more life experience on mine. My son mentioned he wanted to try an escape room, I am always up for a new adventure and started looking around. I found Cluedin on Groupon and thought it looked good, the price was very reasonable so I bought the Groupon. We scheduled for the 8:30pm on 6-4-17 in "The Asylum", Sunday night rolls around and we have an issue and would not make the scheduled time, I called and left Brian a message, he called me back within 5 minutes and was more than happy to switch us to the 10:15pm time, even though we would be the only 2 in the room at that time, he was very accommodating. We arrived at 9:40pm and Brian was waiting for us, after a few brief instructions we were on our way. Brian has put a lot of thought and work into this room, the puzzles are not impossible, but they do require a lot of thought, luckily my son was able to catch on to almost everything and get us thru each challenge. We kept watching the timer and we literally finished the challenges with less than 1 second to spare!! I would highly recommend this place for your first or tenth escape room, my son and I are planning to return to do "The Game Master" room next! read more

We took my 11-year old daughter here with 3 of her friends, and her 13-year old brother. It was the first escape room for some, second for others. Everyone had a great time! We were in the Asylum room, and the staff stays in the room with you the entire time. He was incredibly helpful, giving hints only when needed, and not making it too easy, but also not letting them get stuck or frustrated for too long to spoil the fun. I would definitely recommend Cluedin's Asylum room, and my son wants to have his birthday now at an escape room as a result. read more

The props they used were very creative and made us really think about the clues.
