Jessie made sure with me throughout the appointment if I was okay with what she had recommended. She knew exactly where she wanted to start my layers and even took the time to show me how to style my hair on my own as well! At the previous hair salon they would thin out my hair so so much. Yes, it did feel lighter but often times I'd leave the appointment feeling as though they had thinned it out way too much. Jessie made sure not to thin it and even told me herself since I already had thin wavy hair it was best to avoid that. She mainly focused on using scissors rather than thinning blades to give me the layers I've wanted. Results came out amazing and I did not leave worried about how much hair I may have lost. The hairstyle she gave me is very easy to maintain as well as she assured me it would look fine as it grows out as well. So excited to go back and try out maybe a different style of bangs with her! Overall my experience with her was amazing, she was sweet, also had a nice little Korean drama on for me to watch. I have come back today to get a color correction/balayage. I went to a high end salon wanting to…read moretry a new place and get a new hair color completed, only to leave and actually be unhappy with my hair. I learned my lesson to not cheat on my hair dresser cause it will add up financially! Ryan was able to accommodate me for a darker balayage, Ryan is a master at coloring. I think it's important for new customers to know that, he is very very good at figuring out what the right colors are that'll match your inspiration photos. He was able to turn my hair into exactly the inspiration photo I showed him. I was also taking meetings and "working" while at the salon, he was quiet the entire time (I didn't ask him to be, he learned I was doing that and on his own was very very courteous). He was also very quick and efficient which allowed me to run home and be on video meetings on time. Ultimately, he is exceptional at balayages. I've only come to him for that and I'm sure he can do highlights and etc very well since coloring seems to be his best skill. I've been in salons where it took 3-4 hours, Ryan was able to do my hair in 2 hours! I texted him, his number is all over the Yelp reviews, and he responded very quickly. In my 8th year of being a Silverfox lady, I take pride as to who messes with my lovely hair. I researched on yelp and found several hair salons. But the title of this company grabbed me a bit. I made the appointment. My hair is extremely stubborn and natural silver. Janice, the hair owner greeted me at the door and her team of stylist assisted. I was only going in for a consult but something told me to go with the flow and I am glad I did. The hair was treated with toner. I was offered coffee, water and the place was busy. She dyed (babylights/balayage), cut, styled my hair and took her sweet old time of 6 hours.
