These people are horrid, I would avoid at all costs. I have used Simon 5-6 times in the past with no issues, he is absolutely my favorite locksmith. But he was just starting out then and apparently is now too big for his britches. When I called today the guy laughed at me and was condescending and dismissive, so I said thank you I will call back. So then the woman that answered would not let me get a complete sentence in and I asked her if she could please let me finish a sentence before interrupting me and she said she would not book the job for me, they have no openings. Customer service at its all time low. If you ever have an issue I imagine you will get more of the same, they are so busy you have to let them be rude to you if you want service, just be forewarned. Edit- When I asked what the price was and was told $100 trip fee plus $160/hour one hour minimum, I was in sticker shock. After having shopped around I did find out nobody else charges this much. I do understand folks are willing to pay it because they are desperate, but that is the definition of price gouging. That along with the very rude attitude, felt horrible. It was a tough week and of course folks who call a locksmith are usually in a big bind. A little understanding would go a long way. read more

I was pretty disappointed with services and am having to pay more money in the end to correct the work the technician did. I had a key cut for my Ford E350 w/ a key fab and when I got there the technician didn't have a key that was long enough for the ignition so he removed the cover on the ignition so this short key could work. When I tried to decline wanting to pay for the fab since it didn't fit the way it should have he basically told me he had to charge me because he had already done the work. Now I'm having to pay an additional $240 at the dealership to get some proper keys reprogrammed. Would not recommend getting a key fab from these guys. Just get a standard key cut and don't waste the money. I also called them explaining the situation and the owners basically denied that they would provide such sloppy service and refused to refund me for the key fab cost. If you don't have the right length of key for the ignition then you should notify the customer first and not push the client into purchasing a product they don't want. read more

I lost my Toyota key fob and my 4runner was nicely locked in Eugene with no spare key available. I called the Toyota dealer who quoted me an astounding price to replace the key fob and program it, and I also had to bring the car into their dealership (meaning I would have to pay for a tow) and they said they may need it for 1-3 days. Really taken back with how I was treated by one of the lock techs. I had recieved a quote from one gentleman who works there and booked their service, about 30 minutes later I recieved a phone call from a really disgruntled tech saying that his coworker "is an idiot and pulled numbers out of his ass, that it would be more expensive" I responded with price is not really a big deal we just really need it fixed - he then proceeded to scream at me and say that he had worked 70-80 hours this week and still needs to eat and wanted to know if it was "really an emergency". It was and thankfully another company will be taking care of that. Super sorry to hear that you are sleepy and hungry but why scream at me about it? I absolutely have no control over your breaks, work hours, etc. I did not demand service, I was offered service. He proceeded to hang up on me.. Do better.? Would highly reccomend any other lock smith in eugene, it is not hard to give decent customer service. Saved the day! Arriving home after work/school, we realized we were locked out of our house and had no way to get in. Of course it was after 5 pm, and we weren't sure we would be able to get someone to help. We called Locksmith Eugene Oregon and they answered the phone right away, called the locksmith to check on ETA and said they could fit us in before another job and be at our home in 30 min. We contacted others around the same time and left messages, but have yet to receive a call back. If LEO didn't help us out, we could still be waiting hours later. Lost our car key, received a quote for a key fob. When arrived, found out the key was less than 1/2 of the actual charge--and they didn't have the key fob, so they were going to charge me more for a key with a chip, but no fob. I canceled saying no, I'll pay your miles fee--quoted at $140. They charged a service fee and a miles fee at $235! They try to lie and say if you recall the funds from your bank, it's theft--that's a lie. Oregon does have a theft of service, but you have to threaten, and try to receive the service for free. Also, I recorded, I never received any information regarding their no cancellation policy until the woman arrived. read more

We can't say enough good things about the services we were provided from Locksmith Eugene Oregon. I was having a difficult time in my life, and one of the many things that didn't help was someone stole the key to my car. I called Simon to have a new key made, and he quoted me a fair price. I called back a few weeks later and apparently he was out of town. I didn't know this. The other person quoted a ridiculous price. Understandably upset, I posted a negative review. Simon was quick to contact me and apologize for the wrong quote and said that he would honor the original quote. He was prompt and precise. Simon; You were the one who "volunteered" in order to settle this to pay me. Once I agreed to an amount you decided not to pay. In addition you initially volunteered to pay for the shipping of the parts, again only to change your position. At the end of the day you can say what you want, however, the parts are at my house, they are not working, not because it happened after two months, but because, according to Subaru, once you hack into the system and it will eventually fail. This goes with any "chip modification" performance enhancements etc. Yes you got it running, however, you were not able to get the remote to work, and when I got the car back to California and my independent mechanic, he was able to activate the remote in 3 minutes. Team member Charm was fabulous in helping a neighbor's lock emergency last night. The neighbor is out of town for several days. Meanwhile, a temporary power outage caused his alarm system to start beeping incessantly, and it was audible from the street. None of the neighbor's friends had a key to his house, but Charm was able to overcome the lock, so that I, on the phone with the neighbor, could turn off his alarm system. Charm was super friendly and pleasant throughout, as she quickly worked through potential solutions, starting with the easiest and least expensive. Needed a spare key just to have on hand for my Civic which is coded. These things are crazy expensive to have made at the dealership $100+. Got mine made by these guys for $60 and I got a valet key as a bonus. Definitely the best deal in town for a transponder key duplicate. Little strange to have it made at a residential address but the results can't be argued with. Just place your order online and go have your key made. Easy peazy! Highly recommend these guys.
