Service by Timothy was excellent. I needed 3 doors adjusted, the female holes in the door jam didn't perfectly match up to the bolt lock. Timothy chiseled out spots to re-align and now all 3 work like butter. My tenant called me around 8:30 PM on a Saturday night when I was out of town. She was panicked because she was locked into her condo on the 8th floor. The doorknob remained in a locked position even after she took the inside knob off with a screwdriver. Other people in the building tried to help, but even with the knob leading into the common hallway was removed by them, the door wouldn't budge because the bolt was broken. I called several 24/7 Locksmiths and this was the first to respond. Because I was worried about my tenant being trapped in her apartment, I didn't wait for any of the other locksmiths. He said it would be $265 to take care of it. The request I sent from Yelp clearly said I needed her doorknob replaced. Later I received other quotes from $175 to $225, but I didn't mind because she needed to be able to leave her condo! The next day, the tenant called and let me know the doorknob was still broken. She was now able to leave her condo by simply unlocking the inside doorknob, but she could no longer lock or unlock her condo from outside. When she'd insert the key, it would simply turn in a complete 360 and do nothing to lock or unlock the door. (Fortunately, her deadbolt worked-as it always had.) I called the locksmith, explained the situation, sent him photos and a video. He told me the locksmith didn't replace the lock (as I clearly requested, he just fixed it so she could get out. WHAT? He then told me they would replace the doorknob for an additional $125, and he wouldn't charge me any trip charges. He told me he would have charged $400 if the locksmith had to replace the knob. WHAT? He gave me a quote, in writing for $265 to replace the knob that night. If I can't trust the locksmith to install a new doorknob for the amount promised, how can I trust them with doing locksmith work at all?! read more

I posted a request on Yelp to have a front door deadbolt lock replaced. John from Locksmith775 responded almost immediately. We exchanged a few texts regarding the issue with the lock and I sent a couple of photographs of the lock. John responded that the lock is a high quality lock and also sent a video detailing how the lock works. The video gave me the idea of working the lock with the key to possibly reset something that may have gotten "misaligned." That worked! The lot was apparently "reset" and is working fine. Wow~I'm in utter disbelief and sheer awe: Incredibly, I scoured high-security, commercial locksmiths via YELP's! listings from SF Bay Area, Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado Counties for well over a year; it was imperative searching for a highly reputable locksmith who won't allow someone walking into the locksmith's store duplicating an high-security key (The incompetent locksmith located near Sacramento's Natomas District stated he'd duplicate the keys stamped, "DO NOT DUPLICATE"~hint-hint=BOZO will undoubtedly lose his CA locksmith license!) which the key is clearly stamped on the face of the key stating, "DO NOT DUPLICATE" and also, purchase three commercial-grade, high-security, brushed nickel handle, door locks, too. Ironically, I had no choice but, search YELP! outside the State Of California . . . Eureka~I discovered Locksmith 775 in RENO, NEVADA~YAY!!!!! WHAT? RENO, NEVADA? Are you INSANE???? NOPE~I know what I want and I'll buy what I need immediately!!!!! I called Locksmith 775 on 6/25/2018 in the morning: Ben answered the phone; I immediately began inquiring about purchasing three commercial, high-security locks for my home which Ben immediately confirmed he can order and have the high-security, handle locks in his store located in RENO, NEVADA by 6/26/2018~WOW-PHENOMENAL!!!!! Couldn't find my keys annnnywhere one morning & I had a spare key fob that wasn't activated yet - I reached out to a few vendors, & most of them didn't even want my business because I had my own spare key fob.. but Locksmith775 replied almost right away & they had no issue with me having my own key fob. They were happy to provide me with one of theirs if needed but didn't pressure me at all! Communication with them was easy & they were friendly when they arrived to help me program my key.
