Best locksmith I have ever used. Professional, polite, friendly and clean. I had a company tell me the lock on my french doors could not be fixed. Eric arrived and not only re,bed the lock, he found the problem (broken piece stuck in the lock), he fixed it so it would work, adjusted the door and reeked it to match my other doors. He told me he would research the lock mechanism to see if available should I need it in the future and to give a few days. Eric is the kind of professional who makes you want to take the time to write a review. My front door deadbolt broke and Eric came exactly when I told him I would be arriving home. He had all the materials on his truck so it could be repaired immediately. Also, he changed me to a Multilock system so that nobody can get in without the specialized key (similar to a new car). Mul-T-Lock Interactive cylinders have a special telescopic pin tumbler mechanism with internal and external pins. Both the internal and external shear lines must be aligned simultaneously in order for the plug to rotate. The key will only be cut on presentation of the Key Holder Registration Card. Also, he installed a lock box for me, made me back up keys and fixed another door that he noticed was not secure without charging me for that. Don't be fooled by ads that say $15 for service calls when you google locksmith. Call a licensed locksmith who will keep your home secure and back up their service if there is an issue. I put his business card with my key and will only use him when I have a problem with my home lock, car lock or if I ever decide to get a safe. I am lucky that when I randomly selected his company I got the best possible locksmith to make me feel secure in my home. He works all over the SF Valley and Conejo Valley as well. He left the area spotless, arrived on time, and was honest about the costs up front. I appreciate honesty and a strong work ethic so I highly recommend Eric at Locksmithology. read more

Today, I had Eric from Locksmithology out for the third time because his service is excellent. The first time he fixed the lock on the front gate of our HOA building. We had another locksmith out months earlier but the gate lock kept breaking. Eric put in a new lock and we have not had a problem since. The second time Eric changed the lock to our elevator machine room door. He also install a keypad so we could access the garage door easily. He showed up on time and he was helpful and knowledgeable. Six years ago, I unloaded my cedar chest to make it lighter for the movers. Then, in a moment of brilliance, I put the key in the chest so it wouldn't get lost during the move.
