Great Mexican and best in the area. We have been here probably 20 times and have always been satisfied. Definitely prefer it to habeneros and it's WAY WAY better than taquillas. Attentive staff and decently priced. Definitely would recommend. Chicken dishes are a plus on this menu. It isn't the most exciting cosmetically, with a less scenic presentation than habeneros, but the food is where it counts, and we find the taste better in every category compared to its two adversaries in Jesup. Laredo Mexican Restaurant is an adequate Mexican restaurant located in Jesup, Georgia. Service was decent and the food was OK. Nothing special, I guess average or middle-of-the-road woukd be decent descriptions. Burritos were OK. I guess overall, I will give it three stars. This does not mean it is terrible or even particularly bad. You will eat dinner and walk out being not particularly upset about eating here, but you won't be overly thrilled about finding this joint either. read more

Glad we stopped in! I had the shrimp quesadillas, and they were delicious. My wife and kids enjoyed their taco salads, shrimp burrito, and Laredo burger. Good food at a reasonable price. We'll definitely be back! read more

You can always count on Laredo's for amazing service and wonderful food! It's pretty much tables and chairs- They do have booths too which always makes me happy! We sat in the bar once - it's okay too. The restaurant is spacious and clean but they could spice up the decor. The food is delicious! The Guacamole is out of this world! LOVE it! Hope to stress the service is fast efficient and so friendly and it's not constant not spotty- I hate spotty service! If you like traditional and like specials they have great specials my husband always gets those. I stick with the fajitas Mmmm and load up on the Guac! Happy feasting my Yelp friends! read more

They didn't receive our order even though I received confirmation email, showed up about 25 mins after placing it and no one would tell me how much longer it would be and I had to wait 30 mins for a burrito and fajita (after I ordered over 30 mins before that!). They explained to me the app isn't working and acting like it was my fault that I didn't call to confirm they got the order. No one apologized for the inconvenience for it all either. Got order just about completely wrong (despite being clear as day over phone and stated what exactly the menu described the food as and person on phone said it right back to me on the phone). Pretty awesome restaurant, I would highly recommend coming here but after Tequila's opens near Walmart. Laredo's will most likely be more slow just like Habanero's. After a few weeks or even days Laredo's opened Habanero's has been getting way less customers. Same will happen to Laredo's and Habanero's will most likely be gone sadly. But if you should definitely try the Texas Fajitas with no steak and put everything in your fajita then it will taste like heaven. This is a divey Mexican restaurant located in downtown Jesup. The outside doesn't look like much with the old wooden shack motif, however the food was great. Had the taco salad and the queso dip. Chips are fresh and so were the salad ingredients. Great service as well. Definitely worth stopping in if you're ever in the area. Don't let the appearance fool you! read more

We have two Mexican restaurants in jesup Georgia. This is by far not the best. Service is slow, they don't work with dietary requests. It's their way or you go somewhere else. In Continuation from Google review - in response to the owner's reply: It is unfortunate that all of these situations combined into one making the full experience less than substandard. And while your word choice is represented professionally, it is also not owning up to there being mistakes. The response craftfully redirects attention of (or rather -wraps up) the entire experience to non-typical/non-ideal situation of new hires, personally (referring to the management) being unaware of the situation and a busy business day. Following your statement of new hires, I unimpressively add how it was disregarded to show face to make sure the quality of service You* wish to uphold is maintained while blatantly sending untrained staff out to wait tables. Also, little did you know, the word choice "did not meet my expectations" does bring up a point. This is not the first time I have been to the Jesup Laredos, it has just been years since I had returned; my experiences dating back to when Laredos was located on N 1st Street and then also when the location name was modified to 'The Pig' which I assume was the same restaurant as nothing else had changed. Regardless if it is still under the same management or not, this visit sadly *Did meet my expectations as my previous attempts with the restaurant were also of poor quality in service -which is why I had not returned until last night. Without taking that into consideration and keeping attention purely to this recent visit, I will give credit where credit is due. Chips and salsa were brought to the table not long after being seated by the same individual who later delivered the mararita. The drink flavors were good, one minor detail being off (sugar rim rather than salt) which is a simple mistake, but the time to make a double shot and two other beverages that each only entailed 3 ingredients (both requiring not much more than to be stirred to combine) wait time was pitiful. The plating of the intended dine in meal was asthetically pleasing however short of stating the tortillas that should have accompanied the meal were missing, I have no further words to if the flavors were good or not as I did not consume the meal due to the served temperature. The to-go meal, a simple chicken quesadilla, was made with two tortillas and queso. Nothing more. There was no chicken or additional cheese as would be expected from a chicken quesadilla. I can be understanding of a busy business day/night with wait times being longer than preferred, but when the wait time and the delivery were both below par there is not near enough positive to attempt to outway the negative. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Laredo's is one of the few good things that will happen epicurean-wise during your sojourn. The shrimp are enormous and clean, the salsa is delish, the guacamole, creamy. The Mama is from Baja, so if you like Baja-style Mexican food, this is the closest around. They will make you chile rellenos without meat if you ask. Their new location has a pleasant ambiance and the service is professional, polite, and friendly. Great margaritas, too! One of my favorite go-to places. Thumbs up. read more
