The front desk was unprofessional and combative when I presented my insurance cards, proceeded to…read moretrash my insurance coverage and lecture me about private insurance despite me never having an issue with other pediatricians. There is a clear bias against private insurance that exists amongst the staff here, and while they have the right to accept whatever insurance they want, I felt like the experience was very unprofessional and I cannot recommend this practice to anybody with children.

Don't trust them. On…read moretheir facebook page they flat out said that MMR is 100% effective, especially when given at 6 months instead of the recommended 12-15 months. Then they said that there isn't a difference between 95-100%. Apparently they don't think 100,000 kids in the US are important. There is a VERY big difference between 97% and 100%. With 3.8 million children born every year in the US, 3% of that is about 115,000. So that's over 100,000 children every year that are vaccinated but not immune to the measles. When I tried to respond they turned off comments and deleted every comment that didn't blindly support their opinion. They have no research or sources to back up what they are saying. The information below is directly from the FDA, CDC and MERCK. FDA & MERCK state that if you have the vaccine prior to 12 months that it is actually LESS effective and they recommend getting another dose between 12-15 months and again when aged 4-6 years old. The following is directly from the FDA & MERCK (company that manufacturers the MMR vaccine) -- -- source: https://www.fda.gov/media/75191/download -- Infants Between 6 to 12 Months of Age ============================= "Local health authorities may recommend measles vaccination of infants between 6 to 12 months of age in outbreak situations. This population may fail to respond to the components of the vaccine. Safety and effectiveness of MMR vaccine in infants less than 12 months of age have not been established. The younger the infant, the lower the likelihood of seroconversion. Such infants should receive a second dose of M-M-R II between 12 to 15 months of age followed by revaccination at elementary school entry."

UPDATE: We were "dismissed" after writing this review. All…read more5 kids. Wow. I've been at Covenant Care for almost 5 years and all 5 of my children are currently being seen by this practice (4 since birth). The office is clean, appointments and check-ins are efficient, the front desk and nursing staff are so, so, so wonderful. I found this practice years ago and specifically chose them because they told me they accepted unvaccinated children. Dr. Pulliam is TERRIBLE. He makes me feel dumb for asking questions. His answers give a "duh", or a "you should know that" vibe. He's dismissive. No matter your concern, he tells me I'm exaggerating and the kid is fine. Everything is normal. I understand that he sees a lot of stuff, but it seems like he's hardened himself and forgotten that we are concerned parents and that his patients are children. He's also biased against unvaccinated families. I JUST asked him about 2/5 of my kids having high fevers - one is 4.5, the other is 5 months. Initially, he said kids can go up to 106-107 before needing to go to the ER, but to monitor the baby and let them sleep. Then he asked if they were vaccinated and told me to go to the ER since they probably have meningitis or sepsis. What? He's just not a nice person. If I bring my kid in, I'm obviously concerned or even scared. I'm asking professionals to reassure me or help me to heal my kids. He's so mean, y'all.

My children has been going to Dr Pulliam since 2005. Thorough, caring, knowledge and very…read moreinformative. Over the years the practice has gotten bigger and I'm thankful the service has always been great.
