She once charged me $120 (I lost my insurance because of the changes to healthcare) to tell me I have TMJ and the excruciating headache I was experiencing over a two week period would need to be handled by a specialist. That appointment was 2 minutes long. Hats off to Dr. Kurey for putting up with her for so long. I have been a patient for 15 years and have never had problems with him. He is gentle, kind and straight-forward. Rachel, on the other hand, is just a mega-bitch who I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. He just asks what the patient thinks they need and writes something up. I had to actually self diagnose and figure it out for myself. The rest of the staff is great and so sweet, so it's a shame they have to work for a man who just doesn't seem to care about his patients. I'm encouraging my Hubby to change to my GP Dr O'meara at Venture Medical. Ps: went in to see the Doc at the end of May, beginning of June for what we thought was a lymes flare up and she had no idea how to check or treat for it. Went back 3 days later for Guillain Barre syndrome and again, she had no idea what to do with GBS.
