August 12, 2022 Sand…read more& Water 25 Dyke Rd. Unit 21 Brant Rock, MA 02020 I went to Sand & Water today and I got some new cool gear. They had the rainbow tie dye long sleeve shirt on sale in my size, this is the shirt I wanted last time I was there, but my size was unavailable. I asked last time I shopped there if screen-printer John had a seagull. I love SEAGULLS! He showed me that the whale tail looks like a seagull. So this time when I stopped in I made sure I got that print. I put the seagull/whale tail Marshfield print on the back and the seagull/whale tail Brant Rock print on the front of both my shirts. Seagull/Whale In my photos when you look at the whale tail in a different way it looks like a seagull. So in this particular print you get 2 designs! Do you see the Seagull? Look above the "M" in Marshfield you will see a line and that is the seagulls beak. Go up from there with your eyes and look at the whale tail that is its wings. The body goes from the "h" to the "d" in Marshfield. Do you see the Seagull? I need to let you know before you get a white tye dye shirt don't be a dumb dumb like me, because the design prints in white, so if you get a white tye dye shirt ask screen-printer John what color ink he has available before he presses the print. It's hard to see the print on white on white. I asked screen-printer John if he could get black ink for the pictures because it would really make the picture pop out on the white and the lighter color shirts. Also, can I suggest glow in the dark ink for the pictures as well. I also bought a bucket hat with Brant Rock printed on it, it's a kids size large/x-large, but it fits my head and it makes me look super cool. When you visit Brant Rock and stop to shop at Sand & Water when you see screen-printer John tell him that "Sandy Seagull" says "Hello". Also, let him know that you see the seagull and that you love seagulls too that way he'll get seagulls in his store. Reasonably priced for great quality printed items. There's different towns you can get there not just Brant Rock. There's something for everyone. The employees are AWESOME, friendly & helpful. The man that prints what you want from their selection of pictures and towns on the shirt is a nice & great guy, he's friendly, courteous and professional. I absolutely love Sand & Water & when I return to my hometown of Brant Rock again in the future I will surely stop by and shop there. Thank you Sand & Water for making my hometown visit all that more memorable.

I explained my problem to Joanne and she said bring them in and we'll see if we can help. This was very generous of her since they had been purchased elsewhere. I ended up returning them to Costco instead and stopping at Sand n Surf and bought the same rockers from them for almost the same price, but fully assembled. They had to put them together for me and called me the next day, and said they were ready for pick up. This place appears to be a little hole in the wall that sells all sorts of touristy type goods, but they also do a great business as Polywood retailer. Super nice folks and extremely accommodating.

I have been wanting some Adirondack chairs and accompanying footstools for awhile. This year, I…read morebegan researching them. I wanted a particular design of Adirondack chair that I knew to be more comfortable. While they all look very similar there are differences in both the way the back slats are fanned out as well as how the seat is constructed. I ultimately opted against natural wood because they deteriorate more easily and shouldn't be left outside all year in our New England climate..those would pose a winter storage problem for us too. I learned that Polywood is a good choice in terms of comfort and durability. Unless you want your Adirondack chairs in a natural wood, the Plywood chairs come in a variety of colors which do not fade. We opted for a forest green which fits in nicely with the woodsiness of our property We have other outdoor furniture but I had a specific corner in mind where I envisioned two Adirondack chairs and footstools in a reading or conversation corner in our pool area. Sand 'N" Sun about an hour drive south of us at the mouth of Cape Cod had a great selection of Polywood Adirondack chairs. We were helped over the phone initially by Xerxes, the owner. He was helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. We had also ordered a very large patio umbrella to replace the one we have used for years over our outdoor dining table. This one is absolutely gigantic and provides greater sunshade over the table. Once we got to the store, everything we had ordered was ready and waiting for us. Xerxes and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. In hindsight, I don't know of this store carries Adirondack chair seat cushions or not. They are not entirely necessary but I had ordered some from L.L. Bean and are awaiting their arrival. The pool and patio store is actually part of an entire grouping of businesses all owned by Xerxes and family. So on the same stretch, there is also a huge gift shop....the kind everyone has seen in any tourist or beach town in America. This one was rather large with the usual assortment of t-shirts, sweatshirts, beach towels, hats, magnets, beverage glasses, all emblazoned with Cape Cod logos. There is also a soft-serve ice cream place on site along with an 18-hole miniature golf course. (I just may be the only American who has never played miniature golf and has no interest in doing so). Although it may seem like a random assortment of businesses, everything sold here is of a summer-seasonal nature. We had a pleasant and productive experience with this business. We have a pickup truck so were able to take the chairs and umbrella home with us. I am assuming Sand N Surf will deliver but we did not check out that option.

Many of her things have a special meaning connected to them, which I personally love. Many are woman-owned business, and the profits will support these women all over. When I purchase something I always get the story from Courtney as to what & who it's helping. So rewarding for me, you don't ever see that at those big box stores. I also like that I can order online and she ships right out. Again, a great hidden gem Right on the Hanson / Pembroke line.
