Pigeon Forge, Tn. Actually we wanted a factory tour but we're told that they do not do that, come here. Huge selection of cast iron ware from this reputable manufacturer. If you're here, then probably buy something even if prices online are about the same, you save on shipping. The deals are at the rear of the store in the defects and seconds bins. I found very little wrong with most of the items and the prices have good reductions. read more

My family loves Lodge Cast Iron products so, of course, we knew we needed to find this location while we were in Pigeon Forge. It did not disappoint. About $160 later my mom & sister left happy! Tucked at the end of a non-descript strip mall (one of so many in this tourist area), is the Lodge Factory store. The prices for the goods that you can find at most home goods or big box stores is actually higher here, though here, they have every Lodge product made. The products to buy are the "seconds" that are discounted roughly 50% of list price. While not all cast iron products are available, about a third of their catalog items will be available as "seconds." And the defects that caused these items to become "seconds" are oftentimes hard to see and does not effect the overall quality of the item nor the cooking with these pieces. We picked up a square skillet pan and a square crepe pan for about $24 total. And they give you this cute cast iron spoon rest (imagine a 3 inch cast iron skillet) for free (with coupon from most tourist flyers). The workers are typical southern-hospitality nice. Do to their sturdiness, these inexpensive cast iron cookware will still become treasured keepsakes to pass down to family members. read more

A great place to grab some American made cast iron cookware. They have a huge selection and the staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. I got my first cast iron skillet and love cooking with it. The heat transfers very evenly and quickly. Will definitely come back on our next visit to Pigeon Forge. read more

So much more than I expected. I mean it's a cast iron store, I expected only cast iron. They have a great selection of course of cast iron items but also have super cute and useful kitchen utensils and lots of spices, popcorns, jellies, dry mixes etc. We really enjoyed this store. read more

My happy place! You can keep your amusement parks with rides that make you queasy. THIS is what I do for entertainment. Iron skillets as far as the eye can see, baby! And all the equipment to go with them, from silicone handles to chain mail style scrubbing pads. They also have other kitchen items and they seem to be good quality, but that's not why you're here! You're here for that good cast iron, the kind you can season and turn into the most amazing non-stick cookware that browns like nobody's business and last so long your grand kids will still be using it after they buy their first house. There are some items where generic is fine and a brand name is just a brand name. But LODGE is the gold standard for cast ironware. Go here. Buy a skillet. Enjoy cooking for the rest of your life. Everyone needs a piece of Lodge cast iron. It isn't the cheapest cookware that you can buy, but it will last forever and is incredibly versatile. This store carries a wide variety of pieces from skillets and griddles to Dutch ovens and enamel plated pots. They also have a section of factory seconds that are very inexpensive. One of my favorite places and 'must go' to places when we are in Gatlinburg. There is always something for that person that loves to cook. I dont use my cast iron pans too often, but the store has other trinkets and items to purchase. Fun store to look around. Want a cast iron? This place has everything and more. The staff is really helpful but kinda works against each other. One person recommended a product then the others person recommended the same product different style..it was very confusing to my mom. The location is convenient and I just happened to see it while passing by so I had to stop. When I return, I will plan on visiting this store and stocking up on cast irons. read more

My son and I visited this store yesterday and immediately saw several items of interest....I picked up a seasoning packet for my two cast iron skillets and a package of measuring cups... my son also chose a pan he'd been looking for. We continued to browse and look at the nicely organized store ... after a few minutes passed and the female sales associate approached us and asked if we needed help with anything, our response was no, we were fine & we thanked her for asking....She then rudely proceeded to tell us that they were closed as they closed at 6:00 pm and ( I looked at my watch it was 6:03 ) and we needed to make our way to the checkout. I know, I was quite surprised as well! I put my things down & she said ma'am you don't need to do that.. I said, yes, yes I do! My son proceeded to checkout his item, but I went to the door and she said ...I have to let you out &have a nice day. read more

I was looking forward to visiting this store during our stay in Gatlinburg. On our last day, we came as soon as the store opened. Cast Iron Heaven! Except, I couldn't find 12 inch lids in my excitement. I asked one of the ladies working where I could find a lid to fit my skillet and she acted as if I was a distraction and pointed to an area and gruffly said "if we have it, it's over there." Turns out it wasn't, so the other lady, also irritated to have to assist me showed me the other area the lid could be. Found my items, waited in line to check out. The lady in front of me at checkout asked about a military discount, talked profusely of her husband's 37 years of service (and honestly, good for him!), and the ladies working the store eagerly bagged her items, gave her the discount with enthusiasm I hadn't seen her, and chatted with her, asked about her stay in town, etc etc. As I stepped up to checkout, the ladies acted as if I was a bother, especially as I also asked for the military discount (my husband has 17 years of service in the US Army Special Forces), I was asked to show my military ID (which I did, even though the woman before me didn't have to produce her ID), and was then slid my bagged items and without so much as a "Have a nice day", I left the store. All this to say, I'd rather pay online prices and shipping than to EVER have to go back to this store. What a disappointment. read more

This store was a good size. The worker was friendly and didn't hound us as we browsed. They had a little more than just cast iron but most of it was every sort of cast iron imaginable. Prices seemed decent although we didn't purchase anything and we would have price matched online before we did anyway.
