We waited a few minutes and they opened. We were able to get to see the pottery items and to purchase some as well. The gentleman behind the counter was super friendly and thankful for our purchases.

However, I was recently disappointed to find that a large majority of vendors have begun selling items with AI-generated "artwork." I recognize the usage of AI as a practical tool but certainly not as a creative medium--especially when vendors charge $30 and above for "artwork" that a human didn't even create. I feel that selling AI-generated pieces is not only deceptive but a poor reflection on any business given how environmentally damaging it is plus the fact that AI continuously steals content from hard-working human artists. I love Homespun and will continue to recommend them on account of my positive experiences as a shopper, but I feel that they and other businesses can do better when it comes to recognizing the harm AI causes.

The first order of business when you pull up to park is to set the parking brake, the drive is quite steep and the parking spaces are as well. I did the tour of the front porch first, it's filled with old and worn objects from many decades there are some cool pieces but like others have said very few items seen reasonably priced. I don't expect these types of shops to be bargain basement thrift store prices and actually I like the negotiation part of this hobby. I'm an avid collector of a few different things but I'm also very picky when it comes to condition and authenticity and I'm fine with paying the fair market values if the piece meets the criteria. I spent a considerable amount of time in here, there's lots of inventory and although most of the pieces are displayed in plain view there are some hidden gems that require a little more work and as you'd expect not everything is priced, I usually dismiss these pieces unless I'm extremely interested in them and usually am very happy the prices are missing because it's doubtful the person at the counter can set the price and they need to make a phone call to the owner - offsite owners usually offer discounts and listen to counter offers and this only take a few minutes in most cases. I'd stop in here again although the inventory probably doesn't turn because of the prices...
