This was followed by access to an empty area where we created a sewing center making more than 15,000 masks for area schools. Currently we've been giving sewing lessons, a kickoff of lost art classes we are offering at the Quincy Golden k university. We also have open sewing two days a week and we have been making quilts to donate to police and fireman to have on hand in an emergency and when children need to be wrapped in a blanket. None of this would have been possible with the generosity of Quincy Town Center. Their entire staff especially security have been amazing! Because I'm there I've found several great places to shop and eat too!

The movie ended at 10pm and as we were walking out, we noticed a couple of claw machines on our way out and I gave my nephew $5 to play before we left. Well this rude lady comes from a door near the claw machines, maybe security I dunno cause she wasn't in a uniform but with a pretty ridiculous attitude she says "YOU ALL MEED TO LEAVE, the mall is closed!!" I looked at her and said "Excuse me!" And with an attitude again she said the same thing..... so I told her she ask politely without being a B! The mall should not have movies that end that late if this lady is going to harass people on their way out..... I was treating my family to a fun night and it was just nonsense how she acted. If she is part of your employment.... Maybe find someone who is actually wanting a job and considerate. Unnecessary drama for no reason. Side note- all the theater employees and the movie was amazing!!!!

Definitely wouldn't go there also because you are constantly accused of stealing at self check out, when you're just standing there. He was not in good shape since he had just finished dialysis so he asked for help. The employee was rude to him and said, "can't you read the sign that says out of order?" I work in retail also and would be fired if I said that to a customer. We will never go to that Dollar General again! This was store #2194 and the cashier's initials were SCO. She's needs an education about how to help an elderly disabled man. I hope this gets to the store manager.

Even talked negatively the entire time I was recovering from almost dying. The boss gave me the silent treatment for weeks at a time and sent out emails instructing employees not to talk to me. So much deception and lies. They messed with my head to the point my mental health has caused my basic working skills to degrade. Add the new agoraphobia and the new PTSD diagnosis specifically regarding my treatment there. But, they block me, they try to get rid of me and the truth. Stay away from this place.

It's no wonder Iowa City's pedestrian mall is thriving as it boasts amazing locally owned eateries, shops and businesses. I adore the attention to detail with painted benches, amazing murals and the ICDD consistently bringing art installations to the Ped Mall. Additionally, there is a nice new accessible playground in the middle, along with a great stage area. There is shade, plenty of seating-- it is great for people watching!

The ped mall is the local Iowa City downtown walking area that contains restaurants, the public…read morelibrary, retail shops, hotels, bars, and outdoor seating areas. A home to many a festival as well as the IC homeless! There is a large play area of children, more benches than you can shake a stick at and an area with water spouts that make arches for kids to run under. There are a plethora of bars and restaurants in the ped mall, the majority of which have outdoor seating, perfect for a drink or bite on a nice evening. Additionally, there is often live music on the ped mall, be it from choirs, local musicians or, periodically, more well known artists. A nice place to kick back and relax on a nice afternoon or catch a bit to eat in the evening!
