This was followed by access to an empty area where we created a sewing center making more than 15,000 masks for area schools. Currently we've been giving sewing lessons, a kickoff of lost art classes we are offering at the Quincy Golden k university. We also have open sewing two days a week and we have been making quilts to donate to police and fireman to have on hand in an emergency and when children need to be wrapped in a blanket. None of this would have been possible with the generosity of Quincy Town Center. Their entire staff especially security have been amazing! Because I'm there I've found several great places to shop and eat too!

The movie ended at 10pm and as we were walking out, we noticed a couple of claw machines on our way out and I gave my nephew $5 to play before we left. Well this rude lady comes from a door near the claw machines, maybe security I dunno cause she wasn't in a uniform but with a pretty ridiculous attitude she says "YOU ALL MEED TO LEAVE, the mall is closed!!" I looked at her and said "Excuse me!" And with an attitude again she said the same thing..... so I told her she ask politely without being a B! The mall should not have movies that end that late if this lady is going to harass people on their way out..... I was treating my family to a fun night and it was just nonsense how she acted. If she is part of your employment.... Maybe find someone who is actually wanting a job and considerate. Unnecessary drama for no reason. Side note- all the theater employees and the movie was amazing!!!!

He was not in good shape since he had just finished dialysis so he asked for help. The employee was rude to him and said, "can't you read the sign that says out of order?" I work in retail also and would be fired if I said that to a customer. We will never go to that Dollar General again! This was store #2194 and the cashier's initials were SCO. She's needs an education about how to help an elderly disabled man. I hope this gets to the store manager.

After I walked out of another locally owned hardware store after receiving appalling service that…read moreleft me upset and extremely frustrated, I promptly called Huffman's and they helped me with an issue I was having with picking up my rental. After the other place could not simply solution it in a simple, polite way that I would expect, I now had the assistance of 3 lovely young women at Huffman's who went to work and got me exactly what I needed. I had to be a little patient. I was willing to do that. Within an hour they secured me my rental and I was on my way. It changed everything for me that day. They turned a potentially horrible day into a beautiful one. So to the women who worked the rental desk in back of Huffman's - you were my hero this past Thursday. I think all of you were FABULOUS, kind, and killer at your job. I know I told you that numerous times, but I want everyone else that I got wonderful service here, and to know that there are other, better options than another family named business in town. It's no wonder Iowa City's pedestrian mall is thriving as it boasts amazing locally owned eateries, shops and businesses. I adore the attention to detail with painted benches, amazing murals and the ICDD consistently bringing art installations to the Ped Mall. Additionally, there is a nice new accessible playground in the middle, along with a great stage area. There is shade, plenty of seating-- it is great for people watching!
