I love that they have a "great room" in the center of the facility and that the classrooms lead out to their outside yard where there are alot of space and play options. My daughter adjusted super quickly, it was her first time in care and she was only going 3 days a week, but she would have loved to be there every day if she could. I highly recommend Writestart and their team, leaving your child with someone is not an easy choice but I am super happy with my choice.

During my many visits to other schools I have noticed a distinct lack of attention and care that my kids need! When you first enter WriteStart you are either greeted by Caroline or Laura, they are both great people. My daughter really loves Caroline (it could be all the band aids and love - but who's counting), Denice is often in the kitchen and makes these delicious burritos every Wednesday (and although I encourage her to open her own restaurant, she is very happy at work!)... I take my daughter, Angie, into her class, her teachers (Sylvia and Holly) are there to greet her and make her feel at home.. The first time I dropped Ang off, she was crying and so was I. By the end of the week, Angie didn't want to go home at night! My other child Cecilia, really excelled during after school hours there. We weren't able to get her into the after school program, so I needed to have a school that was available during my hours! This place has been great! Great cultural foods, games for the kids, performances and also Live entertainment. Vietnamese, Indian, American, Filipino and Mexican foods DROOLING! of course the blessed BEERS and WINE, water and sodas. :) Also BINGO! many winners throughout the day and evenings, and one large $250 Bonaza on the last night of the event. The kids love it. the have fishing games, ring toss, and even face painting. A must go and must see...can't wait until next year to do it all over again....food from each booth, play all the games, and then bingo! B-I-N-G-O!

Kohl open school in Stockton, California…read more This school has been apart of my life for the last twelve years. My eldest daughter started to come to Kohl when she was in Kindergarten. She was here all the way till eighth grade. My Son started started the same grade kindergarten till the eighth grade. My baby girl is still here at Kohl and started just like her siblings at the Kindergarten level. We have so many beautiful memories here at this school. When they all were here . I would love to come and spend time with them during the after school program and have fun with them. My children never wanted to come home. All they wanted to do is play with their classmates. I can go on and make this review long. But I'll keep it simple. Here at Kohl, we always felt like being apart of one giant family. I was pretty close to all the teachers my children had and all of them are wonderful. I have to say that Bud West our Principle is one of the best If not the best Principles in SUSD. Everyone at her school is amazing, from staff in front office, teachers, security, ELOP after school staff, everyone really. So since my daughter's school falls under SUSD district, they've got to be doing something right! I enjoy all the programs available to students, the before school for working parents programs, to the ELOP after school program, that not only helps out us working parents, but is fun for the kids to get some homework in with class mates, play, spend some extra time not in the classroom. The summer online reading courses they have. Even all of the curriculum they have available on their chrome books to access apps like sora, money max, iReady reading and math. My daughter's school is well kept up, clean, like I said the staff are what make me feel good knowing my daughter is happy everyday going to school everyday, never has any issues with peers, and she's excelling! That's all that matters to me. So SUSD whatever you're doing to support my daughter's school, don't stop.

I am proud to say that I went to Elkhorn Elementary when I was a kid…read more I am not gonna say how long ago that was...but it was many moons ago. Out on Davis Road in North Stockton when I went to school there it was during a time there was hardly a home around the school...just the golf course across the street. Now new homes completely surround the school on both sides. I had teachers like Mrs. Wolmack (twice) and Mrs. Littleton. It was an amazing place to spend 6 years of my life. I got in trouble from time to time...I did know what the inside of the front office looked like. For the most part I was a good kid and I got a great education. Thanks Lodi Unified School District! Elkhorn still looks pretty much the same today as it did back then...it just looks a whole lot smaller now...I guess maybe I am just a whole lot bigger than I was back then. :0)

I literally hate delta with all my heart, The staff, the teachers, the students, the whole school,…read morefirst of all the staff are always screaming at you and mr T the only somewhat cool one, second of all, no one wants to be a teacher there so they literally pick who ever offers, literally, the teachers are so bad and don't know what there talking about, let's about some of the teachers, first of all ms ramos, i can't even understand her half the time, she literally doesn't know how to teach and at this point just talks, all she does most of the time is tell us to be quiet "____ number 1 please" 24/7, now Ms huch (older) she has got to be the most disrespectful rude teacher i've ever meant, my sister told me what happened a couple days ago, so is younger huchs class she was arguing with a student and it ended with younger huch crying and then going to tell her mom (older huch) older huch comes in, i don't know the whole thing but i do know some details, she immediately says "WHAT THE F*** IS GOING ON IN HERE" then she's arguing with the student that made younger huch cry and this is some details to the argument (huch) "didn't your parents teach you some manners?!" (student) "my dad died and my moms a alcoholic" (huch) "thats why you have no manners" "your people are always like this" these are just some details not the whole in order argument, A student also asks why she cusses at students and she "" says cuz i can, uh no you can't. as you can see, older huch is so disrespectful, arguing, cussing, talking bad apon children in multiple different ways, and RACIST, in 2024?? I still don't know how she's not fired. Now to Ms. Ben Ali, I was minding my business in class doing absolutely nothing but my work in class and haven't said a single word the whole time because i hate everyone and everything in that class, then Ms. Ben Ali comes up and makes me give me my phone for no absolute reason, I haven't looked or even touched my phone the whole time, I didn't even have data at the time to even do anything on my phone. Anyways now to the students, the students are literally so mean and are a big reason on why i hate school, there's always new rumors about me, there always sliding in some mean comments when i haven't even done anything, there always saying stuff about my appearance like I didn't already know, and so much more stuff. I swear students are always doing stuff that should be taken care of and should have consequences, but they no one ever does anything, now let's also talk a little bit about dress code, yes dress code is whatever but it's the unfairness, there are some students that I will not name that are always getting favorited and never getting dress coded, and then there are some that are always getting picked on (more then just dress code) I genuinely hate that school, school is supposed to my escape from home because I hate being home, but I just feel like i'm trapped in a never ending bad loop, i really can't wait to get out of this school, the students are such bad influences too, and if you want your child to actually learn and not hate school, DONT put them in this school, Delta Sierra Middle School.
