    They cheated me out of my security deposit and care more about $$$ than anything. Watch out

    Condition and cleanliness of this apartment complex has gone downhill sharply. Due to the inability of this apartment complex to handle maintenance and pest issues, an ant infestation that started on a lower floor spread into my bathroom. The issues with ants likely started from there being garbage left for days on end outside of the garbage area. Shortly before I left, there had to be emails sent from management advising that trash should not be left in the hallways. That should provide some insight as to the tenants you will be sharing this building with, and the overall condition. I always kept my apartment impeccably clean, and the infestation of ants was through no fault of my own, which was evidenced by the fact that there were no ants in my kitchen or anywhere else other than the bathroom. Day after day, I had to kill over 30 ants in the bathroom each day. Somedays, there would be over 100 ants. Despite the amount of ants, I was provided with no rent reduction whatsoever, but they had the nerve to send a letter from an attorney disputing that there were ants. Yup, someone who pays their rent on time each month is making up a story about ants to try to save a few dollars on rent. I guess the ants in the pictures below are a figment of my imagination. Any reasonable place would have provided some reduction to a tenant dealing with this amount of ants, and that would have been acceptable to me. Also, if you are living here, hopefully you really like dogs, because you will get to hear the relaxing sound of dogs barking in your apartment from other apartments. The walls are paper thin. The only positives I can think of are that there are nice people working at the front desk, like John, who was very nice and professional whenever I spoke with him. I also felt that it was safe overall, however, there were several times where fire alarms were pulled at night by people or caused by vaping near the fire alarms. You can read other reviews I have left, to see how positive I am about reviewing other businesses, so you will know that I am not someone who just leaves negative reviews for no reason. I would have given 2 stars, possibly 3 if the prices for this place were at all reasonable for what you are getting, but that is not the case here. For the price, this place deserves 1 star, and I would recommend that you look at other places before signing a lease here.

    The pool is a high-end tropical garden absolutely amazing also there is a roof top tennis court the gym has everything you will need as well as weekly classes. Also there is a very nice coffee machine that is you get your choice of espresso, latte or cappuccino the staff actually cares and is really great to deal with location is perfect right next to downtown on the water close to everything. My wife and I were there for over two years and never had an issue with security or cleanliness the building is amazing it's like living in a high-end hotel. 5 Stars

We have had some issues, but they were not severe. The most recent situation had occurred in January, and Stephanie, along with her regional manager, Michael, stepped in to rectify my issues and concerns, even with the push back Stephanie was given Stephanie muddled through it to make sure I was whole again. That is the type of manager we need and appreciate .....I do not doubt that the next few years will get better as long as Stephanie is at the Alexander, because when she leaves, we are leaving I don't think we will find another like her

    Don't move into this awful "historical" building #AlexanderLofts. I was the first person to move in…read moreback in June. Everything seemed normal till it wasn't. There're very LOUD AC units above my apartment, on the 6th floor. When I moved in no one lived in the building, so the units were not turned on. Now that people live in the building, I have to listen to these disruptive motors/vibrations all day and all night. I brought it to the attention of the building manager and #RamRealtyServices . After weeks of going in circles, they did nothing. Other than have their lawyer send me a letter stating that I could break my lease. They are unable to fix the problem so that was their solution. As if this wasn't bad enough, there's an infestation of ants living in the building. I have severe allergies and was bit by red ants. I brought this to their attention and it wasn't considered an emergency. They waited to have someone come out and spray.

    Resident since 2021... three different managements have tried to fix this place. The market teams…read moredoes a great job selling it, but there are deeper issues that's concerning. If you plan on renting the place, read the fine line. Charges for community utilities to $20 valet trash and extra charges found on your bill every month. The third party company they use "CON-SERVICE" is a joke. Oceanside and ConService like to point finger at each other and at the end of the day, nothing will be explained or resolved. My flooring had glue leaks, water damage from the unit above me and multiple over charge water utilities when I was away for work and not even home. Yet they seem to always find an excuse or brush the issue off. Gate is never working, so kids are always using the club house, people housing more then they can fit and cars are being broken into. It took three managements teams to finally come to me to try to resolve the issue. The crazy part was that they wanted to give me $200 to sign basically an NDA and have the owner and the property management team not at fault for any of the issues. Its not worth the headache to pay the prices they are asking. They will offer you 2700 for a two bedroom for you to find out two months after you moved in that they are now renting it out for 2100. They play games and are not looking at your beat interest.
