From start to finish I absolutely loved my stay I traveled for about 16 hours before stopping in here. I called the day before and asked questions about the cost, taxes, area and breakfast. The woman on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful- she answered all of my questions with enthusiasm and made me feel comfortable as a first time traveler This was the first lodging area I've ever been to myself and I had my 5 year old with me. I booked online and found an amazing deal. I let them know that I would be there later in the evening (7-8pm). I walked in and the woman at the desk addressed me by first name and that was awesome to me. The internet was down because of the area and I was worried that I would be turned away because I didn't have cash, just my card. She ran it when the internet came back and I was snug asleep in the cozy bed. It was a safe and quiet area- I was worried about the area because of how affordable the room was but I felt very safe there. The rooms were SUPER clean! It smelled great and every inch was spotless. The bed was comfortable and of course I checked for bed bugs in and around- Nada. The room I was in had a loveseat and coffee table, a work desk with a lamp and coffee maker, flat screen tv, two end tables with lamps, sink, iron, hair dryer, clothes hangers... and my favorite part? THE SHOWER HEAD!! It was glow in the dark and changed colors when turned on.. I took a shower in the dark and loved it! I do want to note it's not noticeable when the lights are on. The only bummer was that the internet was out and I had zero phone reception. The wind and cold knocked the Internet clear out. It wasn't the fault of the Inn. It just could be an issue if someone is traveling for business who works on their laptop and needs internet Breakfast is continental- includes waffles, syrup, cereal, toast, oatmeal, pecan rolls, orange juice, milk, coffee and jams/jelly/butter packets. Breakfast is 0630-0900 I wish I could stop back on my way home because we really enjoyed our brief stay to sleep and eat before heading off I highly recommend this to travelers read more

Everything over all was wonderful! When I called to make the reservation, the gentleman was very thorough and explained everything to me that was needed! We were bringing our small dog and the pet fee was only $25, which is very reasonable especially compared to other hotels! A little while into our stay we did get a knock on door from one of the owners and he told me that they didn't allow dogs on the couch in their rooms due to pet fur being hard to clean and brought us a sheet to put over it which of course we didn't mind doing but wish they'd told us before we got to the room lol The room was nice, but the comforters are very thin and had a few stains on them. The beds are hard and pillows Aren't the most comfy. There isn't breakfast but for the price that's absolutely fine. Shower was clean and had hot water. Tv worked well with lots of good channels. Could hear a little talking in other rooms but it didn't disturb us. Overall the stay was good and served it's purpose for us :) read more

This place is awful we booked a room online and asked for a downstairs room. When we arrived they gave us a room upstairs. It was unbearable hot and comforters were torn and had cigarette burns. Sink had chipped paint microwave was not outdated but very old and discolored. I will never come here again and do not recommend it to anyone ever. Please do not make mistake we made. Paid extra to bring our fur babies to find out they can't be anywhere but the room basically. This place is not pet friendly but pet tolerate. My fiancé and i stayed here memorial weekend, this place has been newly remodeled and looks WAY better than the photos on here. Overall, the hotel was clean place and it wasn't a bad stay. the only downfalls in my option are the price of this hotel is way to expensive for the size of the rooms! it was $400 for two nights. & the bed are SO SO SO UNCOMFORTABLE. maybe the mattress was new or something but the bed and the pillows were hard as a rock.. read more

I reserved a room for two nights here days in advance and called to confirm late arrival on the night I was checking in around 7 pm. I told the lady who answered the phone my name to make sure everything was good and she confirmed. But when I showed up that night at 1:30 am after driving through storms I was told that there were no rooms available except for Alabama Power and that my reservation wasn't in the system. The night time attendant was very nice and told me where to find a room (10/10 employee, thank you). When I got to my other hotel I saw where they had messaged me by email to tell me my reservation was cancelled due to an "unforeseen weather problem" 20 minutes after I called to confirm my reservation. I understand power companies needing a place to stay during storms but they definitely could have been honest about giving my room to someone else for that reason and could have called me back considering they had my number to let me know there wouldn't be a room for me when I showed up late at night and exhausted. When I messaged them back (honestly with my complaints about what happened) I never heard from them. Terrible customer communication and give your night time employee a raise. Call ahead if you're staying here and check your email often even if confirmed! read more

Clean room, smelled nice. Definitely an older building but they've put some TLC into the place. I will say that the bed sheets looked like they hadn't been changed. They weren't dirty per se but they were pretty wrinkly. Free WiFi (super slow). Ended up paying $59. The front desk attendant was as helpful as possible. We got their at 10:00 p.m. and pretty much every place to eat out is closed except for Sonic. Don't be tricked by their key cards, there is NO Dominos in the vicinity. Sadly the number on their card is for a Dominos in Texas but the hotel didn't want to waste the cards (they could at least cross out the number with a sharpie, no?) read more

When all name brand hotels in and around Mobile are sold out, you take the best of the rest. We booked late in the day, and arrived after 10 exhausted from a full day of driving and site seeing. The first room we were given hadn't been cleaned and someone's dinner was still on the nightstand. But the AC was down low enough to keep the food remnants fresh. I'm pretty sure the second room had fleas, but they stayed out of the bed. The beds are extra firm. There are cigarette urns outside of non-smoking rooms. This doesn't give me a lot of confidence that all non-smoking rooms are smoke free. I have no idea about amenities since we arrived late and left after getting ready for the day. read more

Absolutely the worst commercial sleeping establishment I've ever started in (and when I was younger, I always tried to save a Buck and go the cheap route). Abhorrent customer service, abysmal quality, preposterous value. It was dirty, smelled badly, poorly maintained, and one of the worst experiences of my life. While driving to Florida for a family vacation, we were running out of steam and looking for a stopping point to spend the night. After searching hopelessly for hours, we stumbled upon this rathole and reluctantly chose it as it was the only available property for about a couple hundred miles. The Indian family who was running the joint barely spoke English, and looked like they had over a dozen family members in and around the "office" area. They grossly overinflated the cost of took s as to price gouge hapless and road-weary travelers. They initially refused to rent us a room, due to our service dog. After showing them his registration documents, the reluctantly agreed to give us a room at over quintuple the rate of what they should have charged. Our dog didn't even want to go into the room because it was so disgusting! He sadly looked at us when his paws touched the soggy, stinky carpet. Just don't go. Please save yourself the hassle and heartache. read more

The rooms are ok. The female working the front desk is extremely polite. A lot of people hang out around the building all hours of the night. (I think some of them may live there.) We checked in at 3:30 in the morning and the staff was so nice and easy to work with. The rooms were spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. This will definitely be where we stay if we ever have to come down this way again. The only downside was the parking. If you're in a big truck and/or trailer then get there earlier so you can park in the back. We had to park next door at our own risk but didn't have any problems when we left the next morning. read more

We had a nice stay at the Log Cabin Inn. The fact that they take pets is awesome when you're evacuating from a hurricane. It was our second relocation and even though it seemed in the middle of nowhere, there were many places to eat and a Walmart. The rooms were clean and lots of space in the bathroom for my handicapped sister. Beds were comfortable, although it was hard to sleep two in a full. A Queen would have been tolerable. The staff was pleasant and friendly and Lisa at the front desk was very helpful. I could do laundry there, which helped out a lot(don't forget your quarters). I gave it 5stars because of the cleanliness and comfort. read more

We loved it so much that we stayed the following night when traveling back home. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are perfectly clean. The LOG CABIN INN is a hidden jewel. This motel only rates one star in "Around Me" but in my book it is a 4 1/2 and pushing 5. Clean, plenty of hot water, friendly, good coffee in the AM, you make your own waffles and toast & jelly. The only disadvantage is that it Is 8 miles off the Interstate. Even with that, it is a straight shot and very hard to miss. I recommend it in the highest way! read more

My family and I were in town for a family event that required a three day stay at the Log Cabin. Overall, my stay was OK. Definitely expected more considering the place was advertised as being renovated. While I could tell there had been a few upgrades i.e. a flat screen tv, new carpet, and new bed spread, I wouldn't constitute this as renovations. The tub and fixtures were old and worn with pieces of the bottom of the tub scraped off, there were cracks in the floor as well as on the walls and the floor was dirty. There was dirt caked in the corners of the room and what appeared to be pet hair as well. The microfridge still had food in it from the previous occupant and the microwave was not clean. It was extremely difficult to regulate the temperature in the room-it was either too hot or too cold. The entire room was stuffy and smelled of mildew. The furniture was worn/outdated and the lamp didn't work properly in the room. I could continue but it's not worth it. In he future, my family and I will only stay here if there isn't another option. read more
