I was in desperate need for rear brakes (pads and rotors) and the mechanic Joe, did an awesome job.

First, being in a new area, not knowing who to trust who is going to scam you or give you hard…read moretime. I took a leap of faith calling Inwood Arch Automotive. Faith of a mustard seed. My car needed an immediate fix due to a faulty battery. They could tell I was nervous and in a state of panic but they took great care of me. I felt like I knew them for a while. I wasn't given some bull shit sales pitch I was given an authentic experience. They listened to me and addressed my issue without conflict and were so helpful. The value I paid was amazing. For the communication, help, diagnostic, they took care of me! They eased my stress solved my issue and just were transparent. Thank you inwood Arc Automotive. I will be back for all servicing needs.

I had a terrible experience here and would not recommend this shop to anyone. They advertise…read morethemselves as a "complete foreign & domestic repair shop," but when I asked about an engine replacement, the mechanic said they don't do that at this location. Fine--that's their choice. I already have a better shop and is replacing my engine they maybe thought I was broke or who knows but anyway way the real issue is that after leaving my car, several of my personal belongings disappeared. Guest what they did, they left my car in the street for a few days without any consent or like if my money isn't worth anything. I lost two toolboxes worth over $500, Ray-Ban sunglasses ($200), my EZ Pass, charging cables/adapters, perfume, clothes from my backpack, also a head unit that was in green box and more. On top of that, I paid their diagnostic fee (which I don't mind since that's part of their job), but when it comes to my missing belongings, I'm the one who takes the loss. It's been 3 days and I still haven't gotten a single answer or resolution from the shop. Items don't just vanish into thin air. The worst part is the complete lack of responsibility or concern from their side. The reviews may make this place look like a trustworthy shop and that's the reason I came here for, but my experience was the opposite. Be very careful leaving your car or belongings here, because once something goes missing, you're on your own.

I would never go anywhere else!…read more I was having transmission issues with my 2011 Pathfinder including, trouble lights intermittently, getting stuck in 4WD, shifting issues, among others. I called Rich and he asked me to drop it off before he closed and he would check it out in the following day. He called the following day and informed me that he didn't find any problems operationally but, the computer wasn't cleared when the trouble lights previously were cleared. He then told me to come to pick it up and just let him know if anything happens in the future. When I went to get it, expecting to pay a few hundred for labor, he told me "no charge, just make sure to bring it back immediately if anything else goes wrong." Not only will I be back, but I recommend him to everyone that has transmission issues and tell them my story.

Transmission repair is such a crapshoot with the amount of grifters out there. I was recommended by a friend. He told me that this is the only place that he would trust to take his car for transmission work. I totally agree. I live in Manhattan and didn't think twice about taking my car out to Little Ferry, NJ for the rebuild. Heck, they are basically just over the George Washington Bridge. Rich even gave me a ride to the PATH Train, which was really going out of his way. What a great guy! I brought my 1991 Toyota there with it slipping badly. I have enough experience to know that it was the transmission, especially after 120,000 miles. Rich scheduled me for an appointment one week away and I dropped the car off. He didn't promise an exact date because things come up. I got the car back in a week and it was spectacular. Quality rebuilt the transmission and actually made it stronger. I drove the car for another 145,000 miles and the transmission performed like new. I was wowed. I tend to keep my cars a long time. If my current car ever needs transmission work, Quality will be the first place that I go...even for something as simple as a transmission oil change. A total pleasure to deal with.
