Just stopped by here to have my tires looked at. I called prior to stopping by & the person on the phone was very kind & let me know that I could come by right away. The mechanic looking at my tires saw nothing wrong with them & said the reason my "Tire Maintenance" light came on in my car was because my tires were not rotated the last time I got an oil change (from another spot) & that happens with my make of car (Nissan Altima). He quickly reset it for me & let me know that next time I get my oil changed to ask to rotate the tires as well. The mechanic was very helpful & he didn't charge me anything. After dealing with the nightmare which was prestige Toyota I decided to do what every one of my friends and co workers do, bring your car to fairview. I just wanted my suspension upgraded, and they recommended what parts to use. They quoted high, when I picked up the truck the price was drastically lower. Turns out the parts were not as expensive as thought. They could have just charged me what they quoted, I had no problem with that, but they charged less and were honest. Truck rides great. These guys are great. Mark was the one who helped me out. I was quoted by my dealer for $2000 in repairs and tune ups + tires since my car was coming up on 100k miles. Mark looked it over and was able to tell me that one of the things the dealer was selling me on (my timing belt) my car didn't have (turns out I have a chain not a belt, which doesn't get switched). All it ended up needing was new spark plugs, and even that was preventative (only ran me about $150 total). Mark said everything looked good, and not to worry about what the dealership was trying to sell me. Real nice guy, patient and understanding. Has 40+ years in the business and knows his stuff. It was clear he was passionate about what he does, and quite knowledgeable. He is not out to get you, which says a lot. Real honest guy! read more
