I've had Joe do two projects at our house and would continue to work with Joe on many more. Joe was responsive, super polite, reasonably priced, flexible, and a did high quality work. He first helped us with plumbing drain and water lines for a wet bar after our basement flooded. He offered several options on what we could do and ultimately recommended one that worked very well and was less than the others who quoted me. I obtained quotes from 5 contractors for our bathroom remodel, then whittled it down to 2 based on how quotes tend to clump together among good, well-priced contractors. My decision for Inspiring Concepts was based on the tile work compared to the other contractor (who we had used before for another type of job). The tile work from Inspiring Concepts is impeccable. Agis (sp?--the company's tile specialist) understood my specific selections for the tile layout for my floor (15 different tile pattern variations!!!) and made sure I "ok'd" any adjustments he had to make for technical reasons. He also made sure that the surround tiles were randomly placed so that the variations would not repeat. The bathroom remodel included some minor electrical, plumbing, and drywall work, but Joe could focus on tile work only for his company and never disappoint. Joe was responsive and patient with some minor changes I made during the job, cleaned up every day and during the work to ensure my home would be presentable at all times. When all was done, I noticed that the new shower head temp needed to be adjusted to allow hotter water. Joe returned to adjust it--no questions asked--and even showed me how to do it on my own, as the fixtures were designed for owner adjustment. He even told me to call him if anything else about the job needed quick fixes. I'm getting my kitchen upgraded next year, and will definitely be calling on Inspiring Concepts to install my tile backsplash. Will never call on anyone else for tile work ever again. read more

I requested installation of a 3-way dimmer switch and hanging a mirror. Joe, was punctual but claimed he forgot his tools so I supplied drill, measuring tape, painters tape, ladder, everything. He started with dimmer and did not turn off power so blew a fuse. After he left, I discovered internet router needed to be replaced because it was blown as well, another expense I hadn't counted on. The mirror came with package of hardware and though he used only 4 anchors to hang the bar for the mirror, it took him so long to hang the mirror because then he suddenly became very friendly and talkative and spent far more time talking than hanging the mirror. Finally, after I asked him, he hung the mirror. When he left I realized he had pocketed all the rest of the hardware that came in the pink bag with the mirror. In the end, I'm tired of hiring people who come into your home to "help" and then steal from you. I would not hire him again not even with 42 positive reviews. read more
