so, it's been months since this happened. i've been waiting to hear back from the company and…read morehonestly spaced to even come back and repost the review they very much deserve. so last summer my boyfriends transmission went out on his truck, we towed it back to the cabin that we where staying in while he had been working in south lake tahoe. we also had our 9 year old daughter and our 5 year old son and only one other truck avaliable. we had to stay for a few weeks so we had packed both of our trucks with things we would need as the stores are pretty expensive up in meyers ca. he had set up for his truck to be towed, he had even requested it be towed on a flatbed due to the amount of miles it had to go and the issues it had at the time. let me make sure that this is very apparent it was only the transmission. the parts that are shown fully destroyed amongst others, where replaced not even 6 months prior to this very expensive expexperience. my boyfriend was working when the driver arrived, very irritated and not very talkative. it was hot though so i gave him consideration he didn't deserve. he had another vehicle up on the flat bed already, at this point i was unaware that my boyfriend had requested it be towed on one. but i knew he shouldn't have been hooking it up from the back while he also had another car on the flat bed. but i had to get back in the house as my kids where playing in the hot tub. i also need to add that in order to be able to hook the truck up he had jumped into the drivers seat, drove around 80 or more feet (not smoothly obviously as there was no transmission....) but he drove it about 80 or more feet forward, then he had backed up about 10 feet give or take. then he had hooked it up, from the rear, on the truck that had not one single issue aside from the transmission. If the front end had been this way when he had picked it up or even if it had been damaged enough to end up like this after being towed, the driver would have known it wasnt safe to be hooked up like he had. so i watch him dive away and as i had hoped that he wouldn't, he turned right instead of left off of grasslake road and too the 89 down into miden etc. this is mostly all down hill, very windey, very narrow. he had towed it all the way to the shop he was insinstructed to tow it too which was a little over one and a half hours if you are not towing not one but two cars, one which without question was shooting sparks all over the road from the front end behind him. there is no way it wouldnt have been. what a great employee to either not have even notixed, heard it, saw it and if he did, cared to stop and acknowledge his negligence has lead to thousand of dollars worth of damages. so the shop calls my boyfriend and asks about the damages to the front end and of course he has no idea what they are talking about. mind you this is our shop, so they know my boyfriend, he also has done some maintenance work in the shop if i'm remembering correctly. after all was said and done this beyond shady company sent a check for all of $65 and their reason was because my boyfriend had said that he didnt care about the labor fees he just wanted them to pay for parts because he might just do the work himself. which he didnt as he didnt have time for as the job he was currently working on became way way more than expected but i mean either way, $65 even after loolooking at the photos, us sending a photo of the actual sales reciept not just the quote seen in the photos. Sadly ii cant find the actual receipt at the moment but we eneded up paying a little more than what the total of the quote was because some of the parts had gone up in price within the few days in between the quote and the actual purchase this company is shady, they should not be touching anyones cars and i suggest even if they are the only one open and your stuck in a blizzard, youd have better luck staying in your car and making sure your not burried and keeping your exhaust from being burried. just dont do it. we had expected to pay around the same amount to have a transmission installed and it turned into much much more because this company sure in the hell doesnt care about its customers or their vehicles. and to the company who im sure is reading this, instead of sending me a rude text asking me to take this down, maybe send the rest of the money for the parts we paid for due to your crappy service. we are still speaking with lawyers btw. thanks well I'd rather say something else but it's very very unprofessional, I'm sure your company knows a lot about being unprofessional.... Anyways, that's what they did for us. So take it as a warning.

Man oh man sis these guys help me out in a pinch. I'll be forever grateful for your help during my…read morewinter time debacle. Muah!!!
