Ricky Henry is excellent at what he does, very professional and friendly and works quickly once knowing the problem at hand and deciding the best way to fix the problem. I got my car stuck between boulders and he took pictures and went about extracating the car from between the boulders without scratching the car. He worked quickly and consistently. GREAT SERVICE! Today hubby and I went to the Sly Park area to do some quading. We pulled off road and when we got out we seen the trailer axel was broken! Since we have AAA we called them first. After spending 30+ minutes trying to navigate their AI call center I finally got a live person after pressing 0 a dozen times. All to be told even thou we have towing coverage they would not tow a trailer. Found AC Towing and after one ring a human answered and helped us out. I called Jeremiah and needed a sea container moved, with shelving and contents in it. He was awesome and very professional. Price was excellent and there was a shelf full of mason jars on it. What a great company. I lost my key fob and my car was in my garage with no ability to start. I needed my car towed to the dealership. We have a steep curvy driveway. Best tow company I've ever dealt with in Lake Tahoe fast and very professional highly recommend

We were charged for $710 for just 10 minutes haul from roadside to the nearby parking lot for snow chain installation. The service was called by local police, so it's harder for me to argue for the pricing. They claim they need 90 minutes for them to reach me, that means they also charged me during the waiting time for $360 per hour. Their truck's service was good, but I just cannot understanding their pricing. read more

First off not going to knock my driver/flatbed operator he was hella cool! Andrew. I got quoted from Manny $358 from grizzly flats to Pine Grove 47.9 miles couldn't get Uhaul full car dolly for my car there so I I called Uhaul in Placerville prior to tow which had a full car dolly and was half the distance of tow 22.9 miles away but double the cost senseless I would give 0 stars if I could! This is just my experience hope everyone else has better luck. Paid $735. And for the the company to know I have the black Mercedes Benz who collided with a deer that started and drove on the tow truck and off! From your yard to my location was 23 miles away now that I have wifi I can generate all the equations. Which means you ripped me off! $358 to $735 read more

These guys took good care of me in the middle of the night when my truck cracked a piston. They hauled my truck and 5th wheel to where I needed to be and then came back the next day to help me get my trailer put in a campsite. Great customer service! read more

We had the worst experience ever with them. They totally overcharged us because we got there a few minutes after midnight and they charged us a gate fee and an extra day of keeping our car there. Just generally ridiculous prices (ours ended up coming out to about a thousand dollars) and really poor customer service. Don't choose this place. Friendly towing is much better. read more

Coming here to let everyone who comes across this review to run and steer clear from this business. My car NEVER had any issues turning on until after I picked it up. They tried to jump my vehicle and I'm almost 100% sure they did it backwards and shot my entire computer system. $600 later on fixing issues lost days of work. I highly recommend never working with them. I will be speaking to the owner to be reimbursed for ALL damages. Or we can settle it in court. Up until the day my car was towed and in your possession it has NO issues. They don't take care of your vehicle. Beware. Take the time to research other tow yards. 5 stars for this tow company I would give it ten if I could. My car was stuck in the middle of the road basically hanging off a cliff out in the middle of know where even google couldn't find me. First tow company picked up the phone and said nope don't know what to tell you. Mind you this was on a sunday. When I called this company the lady I talked to was working from home and stayed on the phone with me and her husband whom she sent to find me because nobody else could. When he got there he was absolutely the friendliest tow truck driver I have ever had to deal with in my 65 years of life. I had a vehicle towed in Nov 2022, after talking to the company representatives on the phone they lead me to believe my insurance would cover the bill. The whole time they were charging me $70 per day for a wreaked vehicle to sit in their lot for a month. Two months go by and I get a bill from a lien company for $2300 for storage. Very deceptive. If having a vehicle towed is ever a pleasant experience this was it. We needed to have our diesel motorhome towed to Sacramento for repair. I called AC Towing and was treated with care and concern on the phone. Adam showed up prior to our appointed time. John B. from AC towing literally saved our lives. On a Wednesday night my friend and I drove two hours to switch cars with my sister who's jeep had been in the shop. She lives in Nevada so we met half way in Placerville. We had dinner and headed home in opposite directions. My friend and I are headed back to the Bay Area. My sister calls me 30 mins later and her jeep broke down and overheated and she's on the side of the road. We turn around to go help. When we pull up I turn my car off to help. We attempted to move the cars to a turn off and then my car would not turn on!! Not only that the headlights were turning on and off on their own the car was POSSESSED. We got to her at 10pm but it's 30 degrees out we have no heaters and everyone we know is 3+hours away from us. Triple A was NO HELP and gave us an eta of 4 hours. We called CHP and they said they would call a local tow agency and John showed up even BEFORE CHP. He was SO friendly and helpful. He helped get the cars to the gas station and even helped us deal with triple a and finally find out that they weren't coming that night and we had to get a hotel and call in the morning. It was 3am by the time the whole ordeal was over and probably 25 degrees out. CHP showed up and left but not John. He made sure we made it to a hotel safe.
