Craft beers are locally brewed and reasonably priced. They do offer can beer for to-go purchase. No food or snacks unless you visit when they have food truck dates/hours. Average service. Inside table and chairs are impeccably done. Logging theme. Lodge type room that could be loud if it was crowded. Outdoor drinking area has plastic tables and chairs and a picnic table and could use a little work. Side lot parking. Don't blink or you'll drive right past the building. I had high hopes for this place, being the only brewery anywhere near the hotel district of Saginaw. It started out ok, as the place wasn't that busy when I arrived, but I should have taken a cue from the bartender (who didn't properly wear a mask the entire time I was there) that it was trivia night. As the evening went on, the place got more and more crowded. To me, it didn't seem as though the business placed any importance on wearing masks or social distancing, beyond the sign on the front door. Tables close together, large parties at tables, no separation at the bar, most seats full. Very disappointed that this establishment seemingly wants to gamble with the health of their customers, it was downright disrespectful for the female bartender to have her mask on her chin the whole time, rather than her than covering her mouth and nose. The only thing that saved this place from a 1 star review was the decor- it was nice, too bad I was so uncomfortable that I had to be one and done. read more

We were taking our son to Saginaw Children's Zoo today and wanted to hit a brewery in the Saginaw area before heading home to the Lansing area. We checked out Yelp and found this place. There, we met a very nice waitress (who looked younger than 21, but was very kind) . At the bar, we met a very fun and knowledgeable owner and friend. They were all very kind and tolerant of our young black adopted four year old son. We loved their clean, un-assuming north-woods (logging) decor. We had a flight off all of their 12 beers on tap (plus the two non-alcoholic sodas). We did skip their seltzers and the wines. Everything was solid, and we are fairly-experienced micro-brew fans. Some of their higher ABV beers were pretty heavy and a flight size is all you would really need. We really liked our stop and would recommend it to anyone who cares about beer and doesn't need food. All this place could use is some more light snacks or a food truck. Enjoy! Will return again. read more

What an amazing day! We decided to jump in the car and take a little road trip on this beautiful Sunday. Loggers Brewery was on our list of places to visit. Obviously things are far from normal in our world of Covid, but that doesn't stop us from exploring. Brewery hopping is one of our most favorite things to do and Michigan is our "hop"ground of fantastic craft beers around the state. Loggers is a quaint brewery with a large open space for patrons to enjoy some brews. Due to safety protocols, we were seated outdoors. Heaters were spaced throughout the area creating a cozy space to enjoy our drinks. We ordered a flight to split and then decided on a few pints. I fell in love With their watermelon, mango seltzer and the blueberry, passion fruit! He really enjoyed the FloodwaterCoffee Red. We made sure to grab a few items of merch...i loved the sweatshirt, and he grabbed a logo glass and brew tag! We had a blast and can't wait to come back! read more

Great little micro brew. In it's early stages - beer only. However, take out and delivery food is welcome. They anticipate food at a later date. Atmosphere is great, reflecting the Loggers name and the Saginaw area logging history. Beer is limited right now, only 5 on tap. One of my favorite types of breweries: casual, friendly, and darn good beer. We stopped by for a quick beer to break up our trip home. We were greeted warmly on our way in. We opted for a full-size beer but they offer flights. We headed outside to play cornhole. They had plenty of seating indoors but also plenty of options outdoors as well. I was under the impression we could bring food in but it turns out that's only on Mondays and Tuesdays. They offer food the other days. The IPA I had and my husband's PB stout were fab. A brewer himself, my husband said doing a PB stout well is difficult and they executed it perfectly. It would definitely be a regular of ours if we lived closer but glad to know it's an option to/from up north. read more

If you're from out of town you'll think your gps has gone screwy. Great place with a friendly staff and an "up north atmosphere. I've been around the country to hundreds of microbrewries. Big or small some make just good beer every time. This is one of them. All the beers were good with lots of flavor, no bad after taste and clean finish. May favorites were the stout and the best amber I've ever had. Been here twice at 9 months apart and the beer is dead on both times. Keep it up guys, I'll be back for sure. read more

Great little brewery near Saginaw. They have some tasty beers although they are pricey. Inside is nice. They really put thought into remodeling an old church. There is food available from a local restaurant that has a small kitchen inside but not open on Sunday. They have a porch where you can bring your dog in the summer which is awesome. read more

This is a hidden gem. All of the beers we tasted were incredible. They offer pretzels but that's about it so plan to eat before or after. We saw promos for food vendors that come in which would be the icing on the cake there! read more

Newly opened microbrewery in Shields/Saginaw. We've been here half a dozen times since they've been open (early spring 2017). It's in an old church and all the furniture is wood logs (natch) and decor to match. Very homey and open. They don't serve food, but have free popcorn and food trucks on Fridays and Saturdays. Also you are welcome to bring in food or have it delivered. Staff friendly and helpful. Now to the important stuff: THE BEER! Every time we visit it gets better and better. Love the Coffee Stout, Tittabawassee Brown, and they have a summer one right now, Cherry Lemon Shandy. So good, very refreshing and flavorful, but nice balance of fruit flavors, not too strong either way. Only gave it four stars because we wish they had more beers. But I know they're working on brewing more. The ones they do have are all good, solid beers with memorable quality and flavor. Definitely go check them out. You won't be sorry! read more
