We had an enjoyable experience with good food and a great selection of drinks. We started with the Dilly Pizza Sticks - they're great and the perfect balance of cheese, pickle and sauce. The dill pickle ranch was packed with dill and had good flavor. The meals were the Pesto Chicken Salad, and not pictured the Reuben Turkey. The salad was a smaller portion than I expected, but priced appropriately at just $12 is a great deal. The Basil Pesto dressing is divine, so flavorful and the goat cheese was perfect. This salad will absolutely bring me back. The selection of craft beer, cider, mead, and wines was outstanding - we each opted for a flight and got to try 8 amazing selections. Also priced at just $12 for a flight - it was a great deal. The cherry wheat was the best cherry wheat I've ever tried, this brewery absolutely needs to begin distributing. I'd love to offer this selection at our bar. My one complaint (because I'm super picky and quite snobby about sauces) - the ranch needs to be homemade. With so many delicious dressing and sauce recipes on the menu it's a really big disappointment to have ranch that's not homemade. For me being a sauce snob - that's a deal breaker for me at any restaurant. Overall - our experience, service and vibe here was outstanding and we felt comfortable and right at home. Stopped into Four Leaf Brewing and really enjoyed the ciders. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and clean. We ordered the Ancho Nachos with a side of beer cheese. The beer cheese was fantastic and honestly what made the nachos enjoyable. The melted cheese on the nachos themselves was pretty sparse, so having the beer cheese on the side was key. One thing I really liked was the banana peppers. They were a nice acidic surprise that added a pop of flavor in place of your traditional jalapeños. I think the dish would benefit from more tomatoes or a fresh salsa to brighten everything up. The biggest thing holding the nachos back was the chips. They were thick, grainy, old-style nacho chips that tasted a bit like cardboard. A better chip would elevate the entire dish! At $16 for a fairly modest bowl of nachos, I expected a more polished and elevated offering. The flavors are there, and the beer cheese is excellent, but the overall execution doesn't quite match the price point. Overall, I'd happily return for the cider, friendly service, and enjoyable atmosphere. A few small tweaks to the nachos could make them every bit as good as the rest of the experience. read more

Simply amazing and worth every penny! -- First beer for me was "Better than a bag of tools" a fantastic Belgian Abbey Dubbel. Then, I tried "Á La Maison Blanche" labeled a Belgian Strong Ale. It was Taco Tuesday when I rolled in and the tacos did look good, but I was in the mood for a salad, so got one topped with chicken and chipotle dressing. While that dressing was a bit sweet, overall the salad was good, with greens and toppings impeccably fresh. After a sample of the saison, I ordered a pint to drink. A very solid version of the style. I couldn't leave without trying the imperial IPA so got just a short one and found that a little thin. Not the fullness of body I expect with that brew. Service was great...at first. The server came by frequently early on, getting me my sample, my pint, and my meal in short order. When I was a ready to pay and go, he was nowhere to be seen as I sat with the empty IPA glass. When he did reappear he hung out behind the bar talking to people for quite a while. Aside from that service a four-star experience. Alas, that service was what I had. read more

We stopped at Four Leaf on our way to Crystal Mountain. Being a Friday night, most of these northern towns close up early. The kitchen had stopped serving food, but we were looking forward to enjoying a well deserved beer. We sat at the bar and sampled a few beers. I decided to get a flight of beer. We were both impressed with the beers and the service was fantastic. We enjoyed talking to the bartender who suggested a spot down the street for food. We will most certainly be back on our next trip up this way. If you happen to be in the area, Four Leaf is fun spot to try. They participate in the hop passport and carry TagaBrews. read more

Terrific little brewpub! Our bartender, Nate, was very nice and helpful with any information or questions we had. The beer and ciders were tasty, I am in love with Betty Berry cider (Blueberry Blackberry cider), it is so delish. One of the things that is different from other places I've been is that they have a bottle of hand sanitizer on the tables, with the Covid-19 that is exceptional! The bathroom door is open (not the stalls, of course) but that was terrific because after you washed your hands, you didn't have to touch the door. Didn't eat, but the menu looked good. read more

Toast of Haley sounds odd, tastes delicious. If you're a foodie, this is a must try. The decor and ambiance of this place is laid-back, casual, like maybe your friends started a brewery in their basement and got the fixtures from various diners and hotels gone bust. Local art adorns the walls, much of it is for sale. They have a rack with various merchandise, and a shelf that has board games and "what to do in the area" in the form of pamphlets and the like. Beer flights come on a clover shaped board with adorable labels made of chalkboard material so that you always know what you're drinking unless you put it back in the wrong hole. What a great brewery. We stopped in on our way "up north" and I was blown away by the beer selection. Our bartender/waiter Broderick was very friendly and personable. I got a flight which consisted to their cherry wheat (a general favorite), their cream ale, their IPA Simpsons, and their Dog Star Summer (pale) Ale. And I swear I could not decide which was the better beer all were terrific. Two beers to try: Saged Animal IPA (the sage flavor was perfectly balanced) and the Bog Jumper Irish Ale (not a true Irish Red but a crisp, lighter take on the style). I'm a local and have been going to Four Leaf since it opened in 2015. The beer is great. Try "Gordy's Hop Bomb" if you like IPAs. There's usually a wide variety of beers on tap if an IPA is not your cup of tea. They will always let you have a taste of a beer before you order a pint, so don't be afraid to ask. The food menu is limited, but good. My favorite sandwich is the Italian Crunch, but the others are good too. If you happen to be around on a Tuesday a local chef sometimes makes tacos, which are usually quite good. On my way up to Crystal Mountain for a weekend of skiing, my girlfriend and I who are avid craft beer fans and brewery seekers stumbled across Four Leaf via Google Maps. Since it was on the way to our final destination it was a no-brainer for us to take a pit-stop. Four Leaf is a fairly small brewery with a fairly warm and inviting bistro-like atmosphere, which we both appreciated. It was early afternoon so we were the only ones in the place...as you could guess service was fairly fast and friendly. They had a nice selection of house and speciality beers on-tap, so we opted for a sample tray and a pint. Without getting into too much detail all of the beers we tried were quite good and well done...kudos to the brewer! The only negative thing I would have to say about our experience here was the pizza. When I saw that a one-topping medium sized pizza is $12, I'm going in with fairly high expectations that this is going to be some good pizza. Sadly, my expectation was not met when I bit into my first slice to find out that it was still half-frozen in the middle - doh! Outside of that for being a frozen pizza it wasn't bad and it was a better than most frozen pizzas I've had from the grocery store. The quality of the beer also helped me overlook the pizza as well. Overall, I liked the place as did my GF, we would definitely come back for some beers if we were rolling through the area again. read more
