This review is regarding my dealings with Fidelity Investments Nationwide customer service…read more Normally, their service is excellent (5 stars). But not for this. I called and asked them to block a large funds transfer to a domestic bank. Customer service told me how to block it, by stopping all outgoing transfers for the account, on their app. I did this, and they replied the block was in place, no outgoing funds transfer could be made. The next morning, I discovered the (large $ amount) outgoing transfer WAS made. I called, and was told that SOME kinds of transfers cannot be blocked, like this Direct Debit. WOWWW!!! Now, I'm at the mercy of the receiving bank to do all account setups correctly, on their side; IDK if they are competent enough to accomplish this. I REALLY WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THIS AHEAD OF TIME!! Now, YOU do.

At this point, I'd give this place one star--they clearly don't understand how to make a fair offer. Professionally they're okay, but maybe I'm exaggerating; still, their high school-level understanding of pricing is laughable. Not for me, not for the Lukens, or anyone else--just beware. They seem to take more than they give, and it's a pretty awful way to operate. Their cash system feels designed to keep offers low and drag things out far longer than necessary.
