When I went to price out my auto insurance with another carrier (which was 50% less) I found out MMG charged me for an auto accident I wasn't involved in and refused to offer any assistance in rectifying the issue. Horrible, horrible company with the worse customer service I have ever encountered in my life. They make Comcast look great! If E&B wants to put you through MMG, my advice is to run, not walk.

They are being sued, so watch out for abusive practices like selling cars with unresolved issues…read moreand refusing to deal with them in an appropriate way.

Paul was great before but would not take the time to listen to my concern of how his staff made me feel like I was working for them. Instead of working to resolve their approach I didnt even get to suggest a solution for 3 majors issues that may be difficulties for other clients and how they can approach these in a nicer way. Paul couldn't even be bothered to listen to the issues. He had no interest and just assumed the customer must be wrong. He still doesnt know half of what was said to me because I was not given the time of day from him to explain properly what was said to me He obviously feels my small account is doesnt matter enough for me to be treated with respect and that was the bottom line unlike him I believe if your not willing to listen with small clients big clients eventually find out.

About two weeks before his death, in his hospital bed in his home, he dictated this review of HPM, and specifically Dave Trudo. More than the words that he dictated, which were from the heart, the fact that he thought enough of Dave and his company to be concerned with making sure that this was done is testimony enough........this is what he asked me to post: Over the 24 years that I was in business, I had many insurance men called on me or come into my store. Some gave you the impression that all they wanted to do was make a quick sale. Others made an effort to feign interest in your business and your needs. The third type of person are not only interested in what you need, but also are truly interested in helping you prepare for the future with the things that are in your best interests. This is a very rare and exceptional person. In the time I was in business, there was only one that excelled in this manner- that man's name is Dave Trudo. On December of 2000, Dave called me and told me that there was something that my wife and I should consider. He wanted to meet with us because he felt it was very important and in my best interests. When he met with us, he was showed me a long term care policy. He said to me "Alec, the reason why I'm bringing this up is that this policy at this price will only be available to you for the next year or two. First of all, it is a lifetime guaranteed policy- if you wait two more years, you will pay as much, if not more for only a three year policy. So, I think it is in your interest to buy now and get the guaranteed lifetime policy." He went on to describe several other benefits. After explaining to me and my wife about the true value of this policy, we decided to sign up. It is now 14 years later and I never expected to have to use the policy, but cancer struck, almost totally disabling me. I have started using the policy and it is everything that Dave described. I would be seriously in debt to pay for the type of service that I'm getting from the policy. I can truly say that if someone else had come in and offered me the same policy, I probably never would have bought it. But knowing Dave, and knowing he has always been on my side, I bought the policy for both myself and my wife. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Dave for caring enough to give me this opportunity. My request was addressed by HPM, and while it was not a simple task to move up the start date (they had to issue me a new policy with the same coverage amounts and new start date), the representative who helped me through the process was extremely helpful and personable. She took care of every step of the process for me and responded to my questions very quickly, going out of her way and making me feel like I was really being put first.
