I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Vernardi Zerada Law Group…read more They initially agreed to take on my accident case from 12/23/25 and assigned me an attorney. However, after weeks of hearing nothing from the assigned lawyer, I called the office on 2/23/26 to request an update and to speak directly with my attorney. I was then informed that my original attorney no longer worked at the firm and that my case was "in the process of being reassigned." This was the first time I had been told this -- no prior communication was provided. I calmly asked whether there was an office manager or any available attorney I could speak with within the hour, simply to understand the status of my case. I never demanded that my case be settled within an hour, as was later alleged. When I returned to town on 3/1/26, I received a letter stating that the firm was "disengaging" from my case. I immediately called for clarification and was told by someone named Christy that I had demanded my case be settled within an hour the previous week -- which is completely false. That accusation is not only inaccurate but deeply concerning. As a client, I was seeking communication and clarity, not immediate settlement. Instead of transparency and professionalism, I was met with misinformation and sudden withdrawal from representation, leaving me with very little time to move forward with my accident claim. Clients deserve honest communication, timely updates, and accurate documentation of conversations. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their options and ensure clear communication expectations are established from the start.
