I had an extremely frustrating experience with this service, specifically with Krystin. Despite providing clear, written instructions and agreeing to her quoted price, Krystin refused to follow basic directions regarding a court filing. She insisted on her own incorrect assumptions about what was required, even though the necessary forms had already been filed earlier that day. I asked her to speak directly with court clerks familiar with the case (Dennis or Anthony in Dept. 402), and even provided names of the court supervisor and manager in case she had questions -- but she refused. Instead, she disregarded my instructions and blocked the delivery entirely, undermining the urgency and time-sensitive nature of the filing. Krystin's refusal to cooperate, listen, or defer to the party who actually understands the case was completely unprofessional. I will not be using this service again and strongly advise others to seek out a more reliable and respectful provider. read more

High level: if you need any professional services that requires punctual and accurate delivery timelines, look elsewhere. I'm sure they do well ish for same day, but for highly sensitive or deadline centered items, do not expect accuracy and execution here. - unprofessional over the phone - untimely in both tracking and receipt delivery, but also package pick up - lacking punctuality and accurate execution when actively asked for best/worst case delivery timelines This is not a professional 1 hour delivery service, the name would be more appropriately measured to "same day" or creatively by the second person I spoke to "Just XX minutes later than discussed". Myself and the corporation I work for needed a highly sensitive and high priority package delivered from Antioch to Newark by 2:30pm. It was 12:48pm. I had the option of quick services that didn't have much in the way of insurance for deliveries for +/- $75. This business appeared to fit the bill for more professional services, so I contacted them. The initial employee I spoke to said that they would do their best to get someone over within an hour. To which I replied "so worst case scenario, someone would pick up my package approximately 1:50pm, and have the delivery just passed 3:00pm, but in all likelihood they will be dispatched sooner, correct? This was validated and then the employee took initiative to look into who was able to be dispatched in the area. They found that someone could be sent from Walnut Creek at their dispatch to Antioch immediately, even opting to take my pick up address first so that they could be in route while we continue finalizing the order (great touch and at the time was highly appreciated). They went on to say it would be approximately 30 - 40 minutes for them to arrive (Walnut Creek is 26 minutes away, but this left them room for operation contingency so I understand). I made sure to validate this timeline multiple times, explaining that this package had a strict need to be onsite by approximately 3:00pm at the absolute latest, that 2:30pm was preferred, and I was perfectly ok with going elsewhere if this didn't seem feasible. They again validated the timeline and I paid $182.00. I was informed I would receive tracking information and my receipt over the email provided. Fast forward to approximately 1:50pm (20 minutes late over the high end of the estimate) and the package is picked up. Even if the driver broke speed limits, that would put them there past 3:00pm. This worried the receiving party, so I checked my email (and spam folder) for my tracking and receipt. Neither were there. I called the business again, to which a different person answered the phone, I told them my name and that I had recently placed an order with them, but that I did not have any tracking or receipt sent over to me and I was hoping to get an ETA on my delivery. She immediately asks me for my tracking number, to which I reply I just said I didn't have it. They went and checked against my name and discovered the delivery, saying they would send the information to my email on file. I asked for an ETA for the package, expressing my discomfort to it potentially being later than discussed. They said it would be there closer to 3:30pm, to which I obviously was uncomfortable with. They argued that I was told a time relative to what they accomplished, to which I countered no it wasn't, it was approximately 20 minutes late (they argued 10 minutes, crassly ignoring my concerns and time evaluation). 3:55pm and still no tracking number or reciept. Punctuality at its finest, even post a second call. So now my project is derailed since an item that needed to be hand carried on a flight for a critical activation out of state will no longer make it and now we are having to fly someone else in their stead, which you can imagine the last minute cost and operational expenses associated with it. Save yourself the trouble and just leave this one alone if you need professionally timed services. read more

I put in an order for process service with a deadline of June 13, 2023 and I put it in the day before. On the 13th I called and the guy sounded like I was annoying him. Then they told me that they would let me know once word got back from the process server. I found out that I missed a key deadline and they torpedoed my case. I finally found out on 6/15/23 that they had attempted service on the 13th. This was after calling on the 15th and again annoying a company representative with my call. SUPER RUSH IS SUPER GREAT Our office used East Bay Mail and Delivery for a long time. I believe their ownership changed and we looked around a little bit for reliable service at a reasonable price. We have so far been thrilled with the group over at OHD. A couple weeks back we needed to file a case in Alameda (we're located in WC) - with literally only a few hours until the filing deadline we rushed to finish the paperwork and called OHD with our dilemma. They confirmed that we could use the Court's dropbox which is available until 4. They confirmed they had a driver for us and he was to the office super quick. I called OHD the next day to confirm the status of the filing. Sue answered the phone and transferred me to Sandy who quickly confirmed the dropbox had been reached in time, and offered to look online at the filing status. Wonderful service. Expecting a huge bill for the "super rush" I was surprised to see a charge around $70. How wonderful!!! Our charges for "normal" delivery are generally around $50. We've had no problems so far with service or billing. I actually think the bills are broken down nicely, making it easy to in turn bill our clients separately. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. read more
