RUDE!!! We were left sitting for a long time without even being spoken to. We coped a big attitude when we went to look for a menu to look at while we were waiting. Told "I'm busy, sit down and I'll get to you soon" hence to say we got up and left. Got a decent burger and great service from the fish and chip shop around the corner! This restaurant is located very close to the beach and across from the lawn bowls in the area. They had a great lunch special with an entree, main, and glass of wine for $20 so my friends and I decided to check it out. They give you a separate menu that gives you the options with the lunch special. Entree choices: Salt and Pepper Calamari Corn Fritter Bruschetta The calamari was fantastic and the corn fritter was pretty good but the homemade relish was too strong. Do not order the bruschetta. My friend could hardly eat it. Entree choices: Vege-Stack Fish 'N' Chips Moroccan Chicken Salad Rump Steak and Chips Chicken Parmigiana The Moroccan chicken salad was pretty good. I liked the Rump Steak even though it came out medium and we asked for medium rare. My friends loved their vege-stack! His and hers breakfast. When I imagine a big Aussie breakfast, this is what I hope for but really get elsewhere. The staff here really make you feel welcome and the food and coffee's are always 1st class. I have tried several other cafés in the area but have now decided that this is where I will pick up my couple of coffees a day during my holiday. If you've seen some of my previous reviews, you'll see that I eat out for breakfast practically every morning while on the GC for work. I also try and get out for a walk around Broadbeach each morning (I stress try, but you're not reading this to listen to my lack of fitness regime now are you!), which is how I came across this little gem of a cafe / restaurant. Plenty of seating outside (only a couple in full sun, a good or bad thing depending on how you feel!), friendly staff & quite a decent menu. I went the bacon and eggs (anyone else sensing a pattern here), and despite a bit of a wait for it to arrive, couldn't fault the food and the fresh pineapple juice was perfect. This a cute little cafe, with good breakfast and a great location coming off the back of a beachside walk, that I think I'll make my regular :) It's probably a little pricier than some of the more, um how do I put this.... let me just say I wouldn't take my boss to some of the places near Broadbeach mall. But I'm sure it's around the same price / cheaper than Melbourne (I don't eat breakfast out in Melbourne very often). read more

Lolas breakfast was so good, I came here two days in a row and ordered the same thing, some kind of breakfast burger concoction . It was a huge avocado,egg white,hash browns,toast, and bacon! The prices are great, but minus the one star for the service, they were a bit slow with the water,the check, and general upkeep. But the food it what counts right! Well worth it, I would recommend Lola's for breakie. I did come for lunch, and I had the shrimp pasta, OMG SO FRICKING HOT. I was dying with spice in my poor, poor American throat. Had to wait ten minutes before we could order coffee's. Just got given menus without any welcome or acknowledgement The waitress that took our order didn't say a word to us. Upon arrival she rolled her eyes as soon as we sat down and didn't seat us properly. The Food I thought was excellent and value for money! They also have great little lunch deals! The coffee is super nice! The only let down on this place is the service, We got the menu's straight up and that was as far as we got. I had to get up and place an order myself because we were forgotten about but was then told to sit back down and someone will be right with you. You also have to wave them down for them to come and check up on you or to receive the bill. A little more work on the service side of things and this place would be on point read more

My general rule of thumb when going out for breakfast is to always order something I'd never make myself at home. I made an exception at Lolas however, justifying it because I was on holiday and didn't have these ingredients at the hotel, and was glad that I did because simple food is what Lolas does best. The menu is refreshingly unpretentious, the staff all friendly, and everything was delicious and nicely portioned. Nice one Lola. read more

Restaurant is fantastic has live entertainment was I there recently for the mothers day and famous Blues On Broadbeach 2015 and there is such a festive atmosphere with family and friends visiting from all over the country.It has a popular fish and chip shop round the corner and not far from the surf club.Plenty of seating outside and food is incredible. read more

Amazing breakfast, amazing service. So many cafes in broadbeach and surfers paradise are average but Lola's was reasonably priced, tasty and simple. There's loads of parking near by for ease of access. Come here if you can't decide on somewhere for breakfast! read more

I came here for Breakfast twice in my stay here, the food was good and the portions were great, i hate when there is too much food on the plate, its so unnecessary and you end up leaving full and bloated and can never leave room for dessert or extras. the food was really tasty and made well. The people serving were nice and polite, quick to take the order but never came to check up on us to see if we wanted anything else. both times we ate at lola's the place was empty so this shouldn't have been a problem. Also the second time we sat and ate one of the glasses for water was really filthy, i had to stand up and replace the glass myself. both times we ate, we had to wait at least 10 minutes (after wanted to leave, so even more after finishing the meal) and not once was even able to wave someone down for the bill so we just got up and paid at the counter. This didnt bother me that much in a place like this, where it had more of a cafe vibe and we were one of few eating, but it would be a pain when eating dinner or when its busy. The food was great, the place was nice, but service needs a little improvment. read more

This place was so yummy! Great coffee and the food was always amazing. The hash stack i felt was well over priced for what i got (not home made hash browns -as they looked store bought) but it was delicious still. Next time in Surfer's i'll surely be back. read more
