We grabbed a few snacks from this food truck at Winterfest Sausalito this past Saturday, before watching the lighted boat parade. There was no line to order, and it took about 10-15 minutes for our food to be ready. Service was standard and sufficient. We got the small-size seafood paella which was served warm and quite delicious. It came with spanish rice, green beans, calamari, shrimp, and mussels which were overcooked and very tiny in the shells. We also got several empanadas (mushroom with mozzarella, spinach with mozzarella, and garlic shrimp with mozzarella). They were served at room temperature from the display case in the window, and they weren't labeled clearly so we had to bite into each one to figure out which was which. All three flavors were tasty nonetheless. My favorite dish was the order of prawn croquettes which came with salad on the side. These were served hot and freshly made, a nicely seasoned savory and creamy filling with large chunks of shrimp inside, and the breading fried to a perfect consistency. Yummy! read more

Excellent Spanish empanadas here every Saturday at the Pinole farmers market. They are made perfectly, nice and crispy and flakey outside cooked to perfection. I've had the chicken and beef both which are bursting with flavor. Not sure the type of cheese used, but it has a strong taste which I really enjoy. I've known Lola's Spanish Cuisine for a few years now. Not only the food is good but the owners are cool folks! Before Covid I've ordered Paella for work celebration and holiday celebration. I've ordered Croquetas de pollo and patatas bravas also and they were delicious! Recently, I got the seafood paella from their stand at the Farmers Market in Pinole. Lola's has been coming to the Pinole Farmers Market for several weeks. They set up beside the Pear Street Bistro. I have had a taste for seafood paella. I noticed that there was always a crowd I took that as a sign I needed to try them. The paella comes in both large and small bowls. I ordered the large and had enough for 3 meals. I liked the plate, the rice was perfectly cooked. The shrimp still needed to be peeled, that was not a problem. The calamari, the mussels, and some fish I could not identify were good, I liked the green beans. I saw a calamari sandwich pass by me, it looked great. I want to try one the next time I am at the farmer's market. They told me that they would be at this market every week. I am not sure if this is true, because the week before they were missing. They did tell me they would be at the Kensington farmer's market. The next time I have a taste for paella I will come here. My experience with Adriana and Lola's Spanish Cuisine was very smooth, fast and professional from start to finish. We worked with Lola's for our 20th wedding anniversary and our 50 person party was a huge success in large part to the food! Chef Felix and his assistant arrived precisely on time, which we appreciated since we were doing renewal vows at a certain time. Somehow, they prepared and presented two delicious paellas and appetizers right on time for all our guests. Lola's definitely made some fans among the guests and I hope that they will keep you in mind for future parties! I heard lots of praise about the food, and just walking into the kitchen where they were preparing the pinxtos surrounded us with such delicious aromas. My husband and I weren't really sure what to expect and we were truly impressed by the beautiful presentation with flowers as well as the wonderful food. We asked Lola's to Cater my wife's retirement party and the entire experience was wonderful. Felix made two Paellas and our guests couldn't decide which was more delicious. Felix himself was terrific, so warm and personable. As a company, Lola's was great to deal with, no hassles or missed communication. We hosted a party June 21, 2025 to celebrate completing the Camino de Santiago in 2024. The food was absolutely amazing. The paella was superior to anything we ate during our 5.5 week hike in Spain, as were the empanadas, churros with chocolate and Santiago cake. Felix and Adriana were outstanding. They took special care to protect our patio space from food/oil spills. They were very personal and engaging to us and our guests. We wouldn't consider hiring anyone else in the future for such an event. The only sad part - we had to return to California to eat outstanding, authentic Spanish food. read more

I had one of their sandwiches at the farmers market in Kensington and it was very tasty. The portions were good. The gentleman who cooked it seemed very focused and you could tell he loved his job making the food for the customers. As my husband and I were eating our sandwiches, we saw that his wife and kid came over and he was very tentative to them while cooking which was very impressive. Stumbled upon this place while walking around the farmers market. They were about to close but we were able to try it. $18 for a large paella, the price is fair. I saw Felix's post on Facebook. During times of COVID where we're not able to travel, much less go out to enjoy a nice dinner, it was nice to be able to have a taste of Spain at home. We've had it at restaurants for special occasions, had several parties catered from various "Spanish paella" chefs, however NONE of the previous tastes even came close to what Lola's Spanish Cuisine let's you experience!!! We first tried them at the Kensington farmers market. Our experience was beyond 5 stars! They were extremely busy, very gracious and much quicker than I expected. (They sold out right before we ordered, and made a new paella). Contrary to one of the previous reviews, our paella was chocked full of seafood. It was a generous portion and miles ahead of the one we ordered at Cesar's awhile back. It was for these reasons we decided to have them cater our son's christening celebration. Lola's prepared a paella for 50 people, various tapas, Spanish tortilla (amazing!!!) and a dreamy gazpacho.
