Delicious, fresh tacos. Reasonable prices. Ordering through the app is pretty straightforward.

Apparently, Loli's is branching out. This branch has been established and there are more coming. This is located in the same plaza as Yum Yum Hot Pot , Roasted, and Saigon Bay restaurants. This is the plaza across the street from the Temple Terrace Outback location on 56th street just south of the Fowler intersection. The space is smaller than the Hillsborough location , but not cramped. There is outdoor seating to the side and down which is nice. From what I could tell, the menu is virtually identical to the Hillsborough location with the striking black and magenta color scheme. The customer service was fine. The only hiccup was that it took longer to get my Horchata drink than my food, but they gave me a large size to make up for it (I ordered medium). It has been roughly 3 years and a pandemic since I went to Lolis. The food is still spiced well and tasted almost exactly how I remember. I ordered 2 tacos, one tamale, and 1 horchata. The tacos are standard size and were served in flour tortillas. I forgot if they have corn tortillas and wasnt asked. The food came with some fried onions and 2 small salsas - one green and mild, and one spicy red one. Chille Relleno - 5/5 Pastor Taco - 4/5 Shrimp Taco - 4/5 The only real negative is the prices. Some people have said that it is too expensive for what you get. I can understand that, but due to the big C and its effects, I'm glad the quality is still there at least. To put it plainly, you probably will need to spend $12-15 to feel full unless you're Kate Moss. I would recommend at least 2 tacos and a tamale.

Lolis at Temple Terrace is a better facility compared to the one they have on other brunch. It has outdoor and indoor seating. It is pleasant to sit outdoors because it's under the tree. One thing they definitely improve one's is to clean the outdoor furniture more often. This is almost like cafeteria ordering at the counter and then deliver the food to your table. I got the three tacos combinations and my friends got the quesadilla. The three tacos including Carne Asada, pastol, and grilled shrimp. These tacos are pleasant to have. They are in good flavor. The quesadilla has a lot of cheese. Meat for the taco is in good quantity. The size of three tacos is enough for lunch. This place is very popular due to nearby students visit.

I can remember back in the day when I would see Yelpers discussing Mexican food from this mythical place called Lolis. Distance and an odd location with minimal parking was always my excuse for not trying it. It's great to see that they expanded to several locations. My favorite entrée is probably their tacos. While they're not the best I've ever had they're also something that I crave once in a while, so make of that what you will. They're pretty generous with the amount of meat with each taco. Something I really appreciate is the side dishes and drinks you can choose from. It's easy to find tacos around here but things such as elote (Mexican street corn) or horchata (sweet rice drink)? Not so much. Thanks Lolis!

One of my friends is a huge Mexican-food lover so I wanted to find something super delicious and close by. This was the first place that popped up on Yelp when I searched up tacos. We pulled up on a Wednesday night so it wasn't too busy. The menu is pretty simple, so we went with their best sellers: carne asada tacos (corn tortilla, steak, cilantro and onions) and a crane asada quesadilla. Both were served with a side of guac and their house spicy salsa. One bite into our food and we saw the future, it was heaven! It was so delicious that our dinner was done in 10 minutes. The food was made to order and the staff is so friendly and patient with you. My friend and I continued to talk about this place the next day because it was that good. Everything on the menu is affordable, and they have bottled beer too! Definitely coming back, 100% recommend.

    I. Love. This. Place. The queso is so good and probably the best around. We usually get the quesabirria's and everything about them is good. I eat here at least once a week.

I absolutely love coming to Lolis. Best hidden taco spot in the area. They have the best Taco Tuesday deals as well! Definitely come try it! Service was great as well! Really cool aesthetic inside!

Came to the shop hungry. Needed a minute to check out menu. Really like this place. Clean, neat, and great menu. 4 of us, ordered what we wanted with guac and chips to share. Food came out with chips first. The chips were warm and crispy. I love the fiesta chips. Just tastes better with color. Guacamole was fresh and perfect. Just the right amount of onion and spices. I ordered the chicken tamale. Wow! I was not expecting too much from it. I was AMAZED how spicy the green was. Not hot but again perfect and tasty. Just enough spice to make it good. Chicken was moist as well as the masa in the tamale. Everything was good. Service was patient and quick. Read complaints about price but I feel for the amount of food and freshness it is just right. Tamale was huge. I will be back!

Absolutely ridiculously overpriced. $13 for one taco approximately the size of taco from any taco place. No way.

The portions/size are a little lacking for the price IMO. Especially the tacos. I would pass on the fish tacos.

Our server, although nice, disappeared throughout our meal so we spent the first hour without ordering anything because he was nowhere to be found. Throughout the meal, this was the same and he not once came to check on us (mind you we stayed here for the duration of happy hour), so even though we wanted other items it was impossible to order them. The queso did was super bland, no flavor to it or spice that I was expecting. The quesadilla was more-so comparable to a lightly pressed soft taco, no crunch or cheesiness that comes from your typical quesadilla. It was not even pre-cut and the taste was disappointing. The saving grace were the happy hour drinks which we found to be tasty. We ordered the Paloma, which tasted like a spritz with a dash of tequila, and a large pitcher of the strawberry margaritas which was great and definitely had us tipsy.

Let me clarify first, our waiter deserves 5 stars and he was great…read more CHUY's: a Pathetic attempt at Mexican food The food is a 1 star though. Honestly, hands down the worst attempt at Mexican food I've ever had. This place honestly is a disgrace to Mexican food. The salsa was pathetic, no flavor and tasted like plain tomatoes. The second "salsa" we were told is a house favorite. It was literally a cold tomatillo ranch, gross. I got 2 ground beef enchiladas with Tex mex and a chili relleno. The enchiladas were not good but were also not the worst thing ever. The chili relleno however, tasted like a frozen pack of TGI Fridays mozzarella sticks from the store. No joke, you could taste the freezer burn on them. The beans were watery and had no flavor. The rice, you could easily tell has been sitting in a fridge at least over night. It was dry, hard, and also had no flavor. It amazes me these restaurant owners want to have a successful business, but insist on cutting corners and not making fresh food. Your food sucks and I won't be back. I wouldn't even let my dogs eat this food. Harsh huh? Simple solution, make your own food. If you want a successful restaurant, make your own tortillas, cook your own beef, make your sauce fresh everyday, shred fresh cheese, STOP CUTTING CORNERS. Any person with a good palette can clearly tell everything has either been sitting in a freezer or a fridge over night. The ambiance is also quirky and I'm not sure what themes they're going with. Woods, bricks, dogs on the wall, 90's color schemes, it's just not it. It takes me 5 minutes to make great food at home, I'll never understand why restaurants can't do the same. This is the type of place you see on a Gordon Ramsay show that he tries to save. My taste buds will never forgive me for eating here, don't make the same mistake.

But I'm noticing how each time I go it's not consistently matching the price of their food. Don't get me wrong, they have a promising restaurant but you can't charge prices that doesn't match the product. Great prices on individual items. I don't see any large combinations available on the menu but…read moresince they offer numerous individual items you can get there without breaking the bank. For example I ordered the largest taco combination, which comes with TWO small tacos that are loaded, along with a small amount of your choice of beans (black or refried) and rice. Its nice that you get to pick from numerous meats and three different kinds of shells. 4-stars. Tacos were dripping from juice, which made the meal messy and shells started falling apart. If you're still hungry after this you can add an individual tamale at $3.75 or a tostado at $5.99. It is sad to see how much these prices have gone up in the past few years... If you Google it the taco combo was $7.99, an increase of $3 or 38%. My friend had the tostado and said it needed more meat. They offer a number of sauces with medium being the mildest. Wish they had a creamy sauce. One big complaint is the squeeze containers of sauce you grab at the counter and take to your table are sticky and gross. Not sure why they don't keep those clean. The restaurant has plenty of tables. Good for bigger groups since you can push tables together if you get there before they get busy. Not much ambiance inside with several TVs playing the news. They have outside seating at the front of the restaurant just outside the front door and to-go tables way out behind the back of the restaurant. They also offer drive-thru. When you arrive inside you order at the counter, make your Coca-Cola drinks at the dispenser and go sit down with your provided number tent. They do have root beer, along with sweet and unsweet tea. Look forward to coming back to try their burrito. Wish they had ground beef as one of their meat choices. Shredded ground beef was too much like shredded chicken. They offer a number of sauces
