Had a pretty strong boba craving the other day and decided to try out Lollicup. It had been recommended by family and so I thought why not. I got the lavender smoothie with tapioca balls and it was delicious. My cousin got the taro tea with tapioca balls which was even better. Overall, it was a great experience. We even got to play connect four as we were waiting. The service was also great. Would definitely come back but want to check out other places in the area first. read more

Lollicup is the reason I moved to Denver from Boston. No, Just kidding. but seriously this place knows whats up. Their boba is always sott and chewy and I love how they have other fillings besides boba too. I usually go for the cappucino slush with chocolate pudding or the matcha slush with boba. Big fun in a little space. Back in history, I was told of a milk-tea beverage with little tapioca balls on the bottom of the cup. The colloquial term for it was 'boba', more widely known as bubble tea. I did not understand what the hubbub was about until I was pulled inside Lollicup by some of my friends. This place is a tiny, seemingly-family-run boba bar where you have but two cup sizes to pick from but dozens of choices of how you would like your drink to taste, from the original milk tea to lychee. You can also choose to not have the tapioca tossed in there or have it served up more like a 7-11 slurpee, all icy and whatnot. They also have a small selection of brightly-packaged sweets and buns you can munch on while slurping down your beverage. The interior decor is done in that 'Cute. Everywhere.' style with plenty of posters covering the pretty walls and getting reflected off the wood floor and stuffed animals above the bar. If you speak any sort of language from the Far East, there are tons of magazines and manga to pick up and peruse. Me, I got no chops, so I just try to imagine what the article is about from the pictures. I do this on the couch or couple of tables they have strewn about the place. I was excited to find out that a bubble tea shop was right down the road from my new place of work. Upon arrival, I was pleased with all the available parking options. Inside, the decor is nice and a little hodgepodge of everything. The walls are red, there are chalkboard menus, some games, a bookshelf of manga, etc. Really fun. I ordered the Taro Snow Slush with boba. The taste was lovely, but I don't think mine was blended enough. I had some large ice chunks after drinking halfway through. There's also a $5 minimum for credit cards. Those are two reasons I can't give Lollicup a 5/5 rating. read more

Love this place! It's right across from Q-Club which is very convenient. This place offers a whole lotta flavors that you can mix and match. I ordered a pumpkin spice and cranberry around Thanksgiving and a cranberry peppermint around Christmas, awesome right? And these flavors are year round along with tons of other flavors as well as add-ons (mango, strawberry boba and taro, milk pudding). The place is very cozy if you can score a seat on their couch. I think they leave the remote around so help yourself to some digital cable. I literally just finished my Royal Snow with Boba. It was great! I only went to this place because of the reviews it got on Yelp, otherwise I would have never found it. You can't see it from the street. The line was long but moved pretty quickly. Drinks don't automatically come with boba, you have to ask for it and pay extra for it. I plan on going back to try some other flavors, like Thai milk tea with boba and Ginger milk tea with boba. If it wasn't for the fact that this place has boba, I probably wouldn't go back because then it's just blended drinks. read more

I love the milk tea with boba!! This is my favorite drink to get when I go here. The drinks are super rich so you can't really drink here everyday without feeling guilty. This place is freaking brilliant. There is almost never a line, they have dozens and dozens of flavors (which you can get as a tea, as a slush, as a snow bubble, etc), all available on their own, with boba, with jelly or with pudding. Some flavors are a bit more outrageous (like avocado), some are your traditional flavors (mango), and some are unique and delicious (pumpkin spice, lavender) Plus, the large isn't much more than the small, and neither is nearly as pricey as boba smoothies I've gotten elsewhere. And they have an awesome frequent shopper stamp card, which rocks. The staff is nice, the atmosphere is great, and the product is tasty. What more could you want? read more

I'm trying not to make this place a daily post-lunch thing for me - but Lollicup, I can't resist your charms. Having given up coffee a month ago, I've chosen my new vice. And that vice is boba tea. I used to think I hated boba back when I was a teen and tried it in San Francisco - it really caught me off guard. Now, it's an integral part of my drink. So far I've had the royal milk tea snow, ginger snow, and green tea/mango snow. Royal milk tea has thus been been my favorite, a really unique flavor. Green tea/mango is refreshing and summery. Ginger is a bit spicy - like a ginger snap cookie. I can keep trying flavors/flavor combinations for a year and not get bored. The bobas are firm, not overly soft/sludgy like I've experienced before. I am a boba/bubble tea/tapioca fan. This place seems pretty standard in that vein. Many of the reviews here just seem to be about boba in general. Yes, they are great drinks. I think they are yummy, which probably isn't that surprising considering the amount of sugar that goes into them. Lollicup also uses some non-dairy milk substance. I decided to just hope it was soy and not ask and have my bubble burst. Stopped by here on a Thursday night in the summer and the place was packed. The area was pretty quiet except for this place. Couldn't quite figure out the allure though. The inside was somewhat brash and uninviting. The music was super load. All types of folks here though. This is my go-to boba place in Colorado. The selection is great, they have free wifi (that doesn't always work), snacks, games, manga and a foosball table. Great place to meet up with friends and hang out. Service is sort of hit or miss though. Last two times I went I got a bad attitude and messed up orders but every time before it's been good so maybe I just caught them on a bad day. Love Lollicup! Only wish there was one closer to my home. They have huge selection of flavors, drink styles (slush, smoothie, juice teas, etc), and add ins than other boba places. Lollicup is a great place for pearl tea. It's usually pretty busy, but service is fast, so I'm always able to get in and out quickly. Snow taro boba is by far my favorite drink at Lollicup. This might be because I'm addicted to anything with taro in it. Give it a try! read more

I always judge a boba place by their Royal milk tea and the texture of their bobas. Both are pretty on point at Lollicup :) The bobas are not mushy and seem pretty fresh, and their milk tea is not too watered down and not too sweet. I love that they have board games and would recommend it for a casual date spot to chill for a couple hours after lunch.. I wish they had more comfortable chairs and a better variety of board games. I would definitely come more often. Lollicup seems more like the place to go in and out for a boba craving. But it has so much potential!!! read more

Boba tea and fun, but missing English manga! Get the salty plum. Still one of my very favorite places to get a boba in Denver-I find that their Snow Bubble Balls (the little tapioca bits in the bottom) are the best texture in town, so far rivaled only by one or two other shops. There are tons of flavors, both familiar and adventurous, with samples available for some flavors, if you ask. Salty plum is a new favorite, though I found it to be surprisingly non-salty, just smoky and delicious! The atmosphere is welcoming, with some fun board games, a foosball table, and a large manga library to peruse. Of course, the manga is really only useful if you can read Chinese or Korean, none of it is in English. Although, there is at least one manga series that can be understood (mostly) just by reading the pictures. Of course, I can't share the name of this series with you all, because the title is in Chinese. By the way, this is a franchise and the other Denver locations are not quite up to the standards this one sets. read more

By far the best boba tea around! service is fast and friendly, and you can always count on their boba to be perfectly cooked. My preference is for the jasmine boba tea, but I have tried a few of the frozen fruit slushees. The slushee was great, but the boba got hard (frozen?) pretty quickly. how come they don't have a snack menu like other lollicups??????? The drinks are nothing to rave over. It is what it is. If you've been to many other boba places you'll think it's nothing special. But since we are in Denver and there are not a boba place for every starbucks like in CA, I'd bump this place up to 3.5 Though it irks me that that don't have a snack menu, that was what i was looking forward to when I decided to go there. I am not a fan of boba. I think its wierd. My daughter loves it, and she is weird. If you love boba, this place is for you. If I loved boba, this place would get 5 stars. The texture is weird, its little round squishy solid balls of hard gelatin. They remind me of those giant pink fish eggs we used to fish with when I was little. I tried about ten, and I liked it, but then I just couldn't take it any more. I love the way the cups come sealed at the top; I watched a little boy dump his cup several times and nothing came out. If I were to go back, I would get a snow drink sans boba. THey have a million flavors, and the flavors are good: CHOCOLATE, lavender, pina collada, anything you could think of for flavored tea or slushy boba drinks. read more

I really like boba tea. I love chewing on those little tapioca balls as I sip the beverage of my choice (usually a royal milk tea.) This place serves awesome boba tea at decent prices, and they even have space for you to hang out with your friends while you enjoy it. I would like a little better seating, though--I know they organized it to be lounge-like, but that large sofa in the middle of the room isn't really conducive to sitting with a drink and chatting with your friends because you really have to stretch/lean to put your drink down. Replacing that with a few more small tables would, IMHO, be a lot more space-efficient. Other than that, definitely a fan. read more

Sometimes its a hit or miss depending on if the worker knows how to make boba. A few times I've gotten that god-awful half-frozen boba, ewwww but at least I can choose not to eat it. Just some straw adjusting that's all. I have probably tasted every flavor here (sans dairy). The flavors here aren't gonna be pure-fruit but that means you can enjoy them all in any season. Nothing was super bad except if you mix anything with cranberry. I don't know why but cranberry should just be a forever alone (its sour). Otherwise Yelp if you successfully mix it with anything. Plus, starfruit is an acquired taste but when I ordered it they made me sample to be sure. read more

LOVE Lollicup! They have the best boba. I love the variety they offer. They have boba, jelly, pudding and etc. My favorite is their Honey Jasmine Green Tea with Boba. It's not overly sweet and the boba is the perfect texture. They offer a variety of options to please everyone. They have milk teas, regular teas, coffee, slushies, smoothies and etc. And you can add boba to any of them. Cool place to grab a quick drink with some friends.
