TBAAR is still one of my favorite places to go for boba. I have tried other places and it's just not the same. Fantastic drinks and service at TBAAR. The owner is from NYC and I lived there in the past. I told her I was searching for milk tea. I came to the right spot. There were so many choices of tea with or without Boba and an assortment of other drinks all nonalcoholic. The shop is pretty big. I don't believe that it's a place that most people sit down to have their drinks, even though there is seating and a few fun games to play. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. I got a strawberry banana smoothie and it was absolutely horrible and so bland. It was weird because it was almost as if it was all ice and no other ingredients? The cashier was a woman and was not the friendliest towards me but chalking it up to maybe an off day for her. Stopped by Tbaar yesterday since I was in the neighborhood. They have a large menu with a wide variety of drinks. Their prices are good for the size. I ordered wintermelon oolong tea and it was good, pretty sweet. I will decrease the sweetness next time. Ingredients all looked very fresh! Staff was very friendly. Great service and great food and drink! It was my friends birthday and she wanted to go here :) I had never been. There is a shared parking lot but looked to have plenty of available spaces when I arrived. The owner was kind and had so many options to choose from! Went here in search of bubble waffles. Was super bummed that there was no indoor seating. Everything is take out. But it's okay we ate in the car. The staff were super nice and patient with us. This place has everything from boba, to smoothies, to fresh fruit juices, Taiwanese fried chicken (I have to go back for these), and of course bubble waffles. Even waffles with ice cream! All of the drinks are super affordable. I think the taro smoothie we got was only $4 or something insane like that. The waffles came out hot and I loved the cake batter smell they gave off. I got my friend and I two Thai Teas and the matcha crepe with 4 of the pastries raspberry, chocolate, Carmel, and tiramisu. Honestly it was all delicious! The crepe was just amazing and my new favorite thing to eat from here. It was nice and fluffy too. Plus was only 6 bucks for that huge slice. The teas were both really good and I love the tops on them with the faces made it cuter. The 4 other pastries hands down best I've had since I've been here. My favorite is the raspberry one. That one was just delicious. All the others my friend said were good too. The atmosphere is nice and there is plenty of parking. I went during the night so I didn't have to wait long at all. Large size @ $4.75 which you get 25 cents discount compare to ordering a Tbaar Green Milk Tea with 2 topping at 50 cents each, which is $5.00. Today the same lady who has been working there since this store opened, so not anyone new working there right? Today I ordered a large Panda drink just like every other time. She asked me, do you want both toppings? I was like, yeah. (That's what panda drink includes) Then she UP CHARGED ME $1.00 for two additional toppings, which should already be included. Total changed from $4.75 to $5.75. Then I asked, doesn't Panda include both toppings? She answered, right now only base drink, no toppings included with any drinks, you have to add to it. Then I told her, I'm not gonna get panda and changed my drink to large regular green milk tea ($4.00) with two toppings (+$1.00), total: $5.00. Same drink where she was trying to charge me $5.75. 75 cents aren't really a lot of money, but I can not stand dishonesty. The experience this time reminded me last time I was here ordering the same drink, same lady didn't give me black boba. Her excuse, we ran out. And I saw her making the next drink with black boba in it. I really didn't think much about it last time, till this time, she straight up lied to me and tried to scam me. I find the boba drinks here mediocre and pricey. It's probably the only boba place in the general radius but almost $8-$9 a drink if you want boba with it. I got the waffle and it had no flavor. Usually I can get it without whipped cream or ice cream and eat it but this place made it very bland, probably so when you add ice cream, etc. It's not overly sweet. Waffle alone was $7, just one. I didn't even get to try the crepe cake they have, just don't really want to disappoint myself with an $8 cake. There are cheaper and better places in my opinion, just wouldn't recommend unless you're desperately craving it and don't really mind the price. I used to come here regularly for my boba fix but has stopped due to poor service from the lady like some of the Yelpers mentioned. They offer a stamp card reward program but the lady in front doesn't like it when you request one. She makes snarky remarks that most of her customers don't want it, making you feel bad for taking it. I've redeemed twice and this is my third card ( see pic). As you can see from my picture, the card is numbered and after so many drinks you get a reward either upgrade or free drink. Anyways, I came by one day and she told me the rules had changed. Instead of honoring my free upgrade which was due, she told me I have to fulfill all non-reward stamps before she will go back to honor the rewards/free drinks. It didn't make sense since I was just in the other day and her brother stamped the free topping for me without problem but I am not going to argue over petty stuff like that. Anyways, I came back after a long while and again she still gave me a hard time about the stamp card. If you don't want to honor your upgrades/free drinks when is due then don't offer the stamp card. Don't make your customer jump through hoops. How much is that free drink going to cost you? Enough to loose customers over a free drink when is due? Their drinks are mediocre at best, not as good as the Tbaar in Aurora anyways. If you want better drinks and service, head to the Aurora location. I now patronize that location even though it's further away. read more

Tbaar is one of my new favorite boba (bubble tea) places in Denver. My favorite drink is either the jasmine green tea or panda green milk tea topped with a sea salt milk foam cap filled with boba, white "boba" (more like a jelly), pudding, and red bean. I know. My order(s) are extra but I always find it worth the $6-$8 I make them out to be. Tbaar also has rolled ice cream! For only $5.95 too, which is pretty cheap versus other competitors that range from $6.99 to $7.99 excluding additional toppings, etc. Plus, their ice cream was actually creamy and not hard to dig into. Hence, the word ice CREAM not ice ROCK. Haha, you can tell I had bad experiences with other rolled ice cream locations but I digress... I also love that there's plenty of seating to hang around and play board games, cards, football table, and so forth, which they all have and more. It's fun for my family and I to grab some drinks and/or dessert plus stick around to play a bit too. read more

I said what do you mean I have the cards I been using and you combined them a number of times before. She obviously didn't want to honor my free upgrade and told me to use one card. I'm honestly just super happy there is a new boba place in town that is a lot closer to me now. The menu options (even the crepe cakes) are very similar to Kung Fu Tea's, and even its ingredients are shipped from Taiwan. They also have "white boba," which I never had before in my life, but it's worth the try - especially since they let you do half white boba and half regular boba. It's a little more of a jelly consistency compared to the regular boba. What I like about this place so far is that it isn't crowded like KFT is. At least not yet, since it's still pretty new. I was able to come here on a Wednesday evening and stay for a couple hours to get some work done. They have outlets, free WiFi, and plenty of seating. Only thing that threw me off is the EDM they play in the store, albeit not very loudly. But you'd think they'd play C-pop, K-pop, or even some hipster coffee shop music. The EDM just doesn't really fit with the ambience of the place, imo. Still, this is a cute, new place that deserves some love and attention. Yay for more boba in Denver! read more

This is our favorite of the southeast Denver boba offerings. The tea tastes like brewed tea and the boba is consistently the perfect texture. (Unlike Lollicup's squishy boba and milk with the weird aftertaste.) I love the regular milk tea, my daughter gets the brown sugar tea which is basically milk, boba and a whole lot of brown sugar. My son really likes the Thai tea. We also enjoy their oolong, jasmine, and Earl Grey milk teas with boba. The bubble waffle with vanilla ice cream is a fun snack and the mango crepe cake is fantastic. Service is friendly and they make a point of getting to know their regulars' orders.
