Very rude employees in the morning. Same couple that always work! One Asian woman who wears glasses…read morewho you can barely understand and she talks so rudely back to customers! Even if the customer is very nice and asks her to repeat herself or stands there a bit confused since they didn't understand her response. (Do not confuse this woman with the other woman who usually opens and has long black straight hair. She is beyond sweet and the fact she is that way each and every morning right when they open. Props for her!) Then there is a taller woman who wears glasses who was no help at all today. I have an e-gift card that I received as a birthday gift. It has a 19 digit card number and a safe 4 digit pin. Instructions in email state to have the employee manually input the 19 digits and I then input the pin. But no. Rudely she goes you have to have a physical card. At this point Id love to have a physical gift card in hand because this was not the only chevron I went to use the e-gift card. I wasted so much time driving from location to location to have not a single employee or manager know how to use the e-gift card and all told me they need a gift card but the physical one in person!? You have got to be kidding me right?! Why does chevron still sell these e-gift cards if their locations are unable to take them as a form of payment?!? or is it just management and employees not knowing how to work their system?!? It's beyond frustrating and such an inconvenience! I know have an e-gift card that is basically useless due to not having a single location except it as a form of payment!

Came in on Saturday, September 21st, 3pm, withdrew $100 from its ATM, gave the male cashier one of…read morethe $20 bills from the ATM for merchandise. As I was leaving, but before I exited, I noticed that he had given me change for a $10 bill rather than the $20 I had given him. I went back up to the cashier to draw this to his attention, he denied it, said some gibberish about having worked there for many years and had never been so outrageously accused. He held up a $10 bill and claimed that it was the bill I had given him (rather than the one he was stealing from me). No sense to report it as the police don't seem to be doing much of anything these days, and the DA even less. So I walked out without my $10, and left the cashier/thief behind.

A 5 star gas station?…read more Ordinarily, the routine stop at a gas station to fill up the tank is not anything to write about. But this is no ordinary gas station. First, it's kept super clean. Always. From the pumps to the mini mart, there's never any disarray or mess. Second, they play instrumental music. Somehow the simple addition of Beethoven, Bach, or Tchaikovsky turns the very mundane act of pumping gas into something almost refined. Thirdly, I try to stay on top of my car's (her name is Baby) tire pressure. Here, all you have to do is ask an attendant, & they will happily check the air pressure for you. Yes, happily. Is it weird that I actually look forward to coming here? I think Baby does too. 5 stars.

I have never left a negative review, but this experience was so terrible that I felt compelled to…read moreshare it. A week ago, my car overheated and had to be towed to this Chevron station. I explained that the engine was overheating and that there were visible coolant stains in the engine compartment. The next day, I was told they had identified a coolant leak, replaced the coolant reservoir and associated hoses, pressure-tested the system, test-drove the vehicle, and confirmed that the problem was fixed. I paid approximately $750 and picked up the car. One week later, while driving to Marin, the same engine overheating warning returned. We had to pull over immediately and have the car towed again. Fortunately, this happened before we got onto the Golden Gate Bridge. I had not driven the vehicle at all between the first repair and this incident. The vehicle was towed back to the same shop for the overheating issue. The next day, I got a text from the mechanic, in essence, admitting that "It does look like the thermostat was on the way out when it was last in here. To do that thermostat replacement will run $752.21." I called the owner and explained that I had brought the car in for an overheating engine the previous week, paid for the repair, was told the issue was fixed, and now had to tow the vehicle a second time because the overheating problem returned. I asked why a more comprehensive diagnosis had not been performed when the vehicle was originally brought in. The owner's response was that they only tested what I specifically mentioned and that the thermostat issue was not part of the original diagnosis. So, in essence, the owner suggested that it was my responsibility to identify the cause of the overheating problem. If you bring a car in because the engine is overheating, it's reasonable to expect a thorough diagnosis the first time. Rather than acknowledging the frustration of having the vehicle towed twice for the same problem, the owner became defensive and, get this, suggested that I take the car somewhere else even if that meant I would need to have it towed. Fortunately, I was at least able to drive it home a few blocks away. Being charged for a repair, experiencing the same problem a week later, and then being told the responsibility was somehow mine and that I should go elsewhere made this the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

A major distributor of gas should be staffed well why do I say that well because it's 2025 and you…read morecould sit at home right now and play video games and not talk to a single person for weeks and no one would even be the wiser so if someone goes to a major distributor of gas and pays a lot of money for the gas and expect this major retailer to have window wiper Towels, available to wash the windows while they're pumping their gas, I don't think that's any overdose of demand for this kind of business and that's what I got when I pulled in this morning trying to fill up my car with gas at a Shell because I feel good about the gas that's getting put into my car and it's not going to damage my systems as much as a cheaper gas station And then there are no towels so I go in and I asked the person that's working the desk inside could I have some towels? We don't have any towels I said OK so why aren't there any towels? This is Shell right? He said he didn't know. He didn't understand first of all because he's not up on his English enough to understand me asking this simple Five worded question why are there no towels next thing he says here and he hands me a rag I said I don't wanna rag. I just wanna know why there aren't any towels. There should be towels. He had no answer if you think I'm going to standby and not put a review up here so that other people can be heard this is what I'm doing. I'm spending my time so that everyone knows this is not acceptable. Have some towels or get off the market your name is Shell. You should have some towels available to wipe your windows. I'm not just here to pay for gas like a poor minded individual who is just so grateful that there's actual gas to pump into my car. I am not ready for poverty. I am a working functioning business owner, and I want towels at my gas station who is known across the world to be a top retailer of gas. Jeezus Christ
