Actual wash - meh. 2/5. Purchased the #3 option for the "bug debris" removal menu item, results...bug debris still on hood & fender. Customer Service - 1/5. 2/3 guys working were ok, nothing special met expectations for a car wash. BUT...the 3rd guy was a total jerk (keeping it PG here). Read on if interested... The 3rd guy, who collects your receipt and supposedly gives you instructions (I did not know the whole process at the time, this was my first visit here [and last] so I was unaware of all the participation expectations) aggressively knocked on my window to get the receipt, mumbled something (which I realized later were instructions to follow) and proceeded to begin spraying my car BEFORE my window was up. THEN, shortly, he aggressively knocked on my window again, as my car was completely wet and soapy. I opened my door trying to avoid getting MORE water inside the car, for him to rudely mumble the instructions again, and again, before I finally understood. Oh, put my car in neutral! Overall, car got washed. Won't bother again. I put my car in neutral and must have tapped the brakes at some point without realizing. He immediately had me roll my soapy, wet window down and lectured me about not touching anything. I've used this quick and effective drive-thru car wash for many years. Admittedly, I don't wash my car very frequently; it's why I bought my car in gunmetal grey that doesn't readily show grime. Two things I recommend: Buy a ticket with discounted washes, you'll save about 30%. Second, tip the guys doing the work scrubbing down your rims and putting elbow grease into the pre-wash service. It's the right thing to do and your car will look all the better for it. They give you a dashboard wipe (two if you ask nicely) and cardboard air fresheners if you want them. I recently moved to the city and haven't found a quick car wash spot. I've seen gas station car washes before but I've never seen them with employees. I came on a Sunday, so I'm not sure if this is just a weekend thing. There was quite a line of cars but it was worth the wait and I couldn't find any other car washes like this in the area. This shell car wash is super cool! There are employees spraying down your car and scrubbing it with soap before it goes through the automatic car wash. They have a few different price options. Our family has used the station happily for years. We buy the car wash punchcards for our cars as well. Good wash, courteous employees. Today, however, I was badly overcharged st one of their pumps. My Ford diesel typically takes 26 gallons when I have 50 miles of range left. The warning light hits at 50, and I pump 26 gallons of diesel plus or minus a half gallon or so. So today the pump diesel pump took about four time longer than usual. It was as if it had been tampered with. I decided to suffer and surf the web rather than switch pumps Imagine my surprise when it finally stopped wit a splash of diesel in the ground and charged me for 31 gallons! If you were to run this diesel dry (but you never do on a Diesel) the capacity is 28.5 gallon. The receipt shows that they pumped 31 1/2 gallon into the truck. It's just not physically possible. At $5.39 a gallon, the machine robbed me for over $25 on a single fill up. Also disappointing that they didn't believe me right away, and we had to research online fuel. tank capacities----- and they still repeatedly asserted that their machines were highly calibrated. The more they said that, the weirder it got because this machine was definitely ripping people off. Per the factory my truck has a 28.5 gallon tank. Waiting for a call from the owner because the manager could do nothing for me. Update: The owner called me and explained that he had consulted "AI on the web" and that his machine had been correct. I suffered his indefensible bullshit explanation for as long as I could. Had to interrupt him, tell him I no longer cared, and to forget it. How infuriating! Then he calls me back to resume his gaslighting as if I haven't pumped diesel into this truck for a decade. I admittedly blew a gasket. BEWARE THE OVERCHARGING PUMPS AT THIS GAS STATION! I hadn't had my car washed in months. I was heading across the Golden Gate Bridge and decided to stop at this car wash because it was on the way. They offer three services, I think the prices were $16, $20 and $22. At the very least, all within a few $$ of each other. I decided to go all out and get the $22 treatment. I saw cars in front of me getting what appeared to be the full treatment, and their cars were getting a good, detailed washing. I asked the gentleman before I paid what his name was, he said Justice. I gave him my card and paid for the wash and he handed me a receipt, which I was to give to the guy before I entered the car wash. I told him (the guy closer to entry) that it looked like they were doing a great job on the other cars, trying to share a positive comment. He said thanks and took my receipt. (I did wonder why I didn't get to keep a copy of the receipt, but I hadn't seen anyone else get one handed back, so just went with it.) As they were using the brushes to cover my car in soap, it seemed rushed. They were done with me in less than a minute, when I'd seen them spend a lot more time with the cars ahead of me. Specifically a big SUV that they spent at least 4 minutes brushing. That said, I have a smaller car, so figured it just didn't take them as long. I was in somewhat of a hurry and had one more stop to make before crossing the bridge so didn't bother checking the job in that moment. When I got to my next stop, I had a chance to really look at what they did. Or should I say, didn't do. They didn't do a good job. Specifically, they didn't clean the tires well, didn't put the wheel treatment, guessing they didn't do the "Complete Surface Protectant." I didn't have time to go back, plus not having a receipt, didn't know if they'd do a better job anyway. As it was only $22, I didn't know if it would be worth taking a chance going back, wondering if they'd just make it worse, maybe even cause scratches to my car, so figured I'd just write a review instead. I'm including photos of all four tires and a video. If you go, the price seems pretty good. But they don't seem to really take great care in doing their job, so be prepared to have to either go through a second time, or just be happy for what little they do. And do what I didn't do - get a receipt. read more

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about - for $16 this is a great basic drive through car wash. We were here Saturday morning and a line was forming but they kept things moving and I got a good car wash that took a lot of the city grime and dirt off. For some reason I thought that there were no drive through car washes in the city and I'm glad to realize I was wrong and to have discovered this place so close to home. The value is incredible, priced only slightly higher than a standard gas station car wash, and the service they provide is amazing. They soak your car by hand with a soapy solution before you enter the actual carwash -- which makes a massive difference in the outcome. My car has never been so shiny - and for such a reasonable price. The guys were really friendly, efficient, and they did a fantastic job. I guess a lot of other folks had the same idea we did that day because we couldn't even get into the lot it was so crowded. However, the people who run this place clearly know what they are doing. Through a series of plastic numbers on cars they got everyone in line in the proper order safely, managed the crazy number of cars super efficiently, and definitely made me want to return. I visited solely for the drive through car wash a few weeks ago. Prices were ok (around $15 for top of the line wash). The workers do a prewash rinse with a power washer to loosen up any dirt. It was effective enough but there's no towel dry so your car is air drying while driving post wash. read more

Prices have gone up- a basic wash is 13.95. Your car can get cleanish (go thru twice to get the bird poop off) and wet all at once (your car will not be dry after running through). The line only goes out to Geary st- but it moves pretty quickly. I go here when I don't want to drive all the way to the Shine n Seal car wash in Bayshore. The attendants are nice enough and they do spray down/ pre wash your back window. Give it a try, there aren't that many options in SF. read more

So you know if you live here in SF how many places there are to wash your car for cheap. There aren't that many. And most of the time the lines are so long that you might was well leave your car dirty. Twice I've had my side view mirror broken off at this particular car wash. The last time I visited which was Monday 11/28/2022. I was desperate to have my car washed. My side mirrors were dirty and I couldn't see out of them while merging on the freeways here in the Bay Area. So I pull in to the gas station ready to top gas tank off and purchase a car wash. But I noticed that the line for the car wash was short so I skipped the top off and went straight to the wash. I get there and hand the guy my card and he starts yelling "YOU HAVE TO PAY FIRST!!, NEXT TIME READ THE SIGNS!" But there wasn't any sign to pay first. I apologized and he keeps berating me calling me stupid and a 'pendeja'... He let me go through the car wash and I picked up my credit card at the employee box they are forced to work in. I get it when the customer isn't always right but being disrespectful isn't cool. Calling names isn't cool. I even paid for the expensive wash and he didn't even clean my front windshield. read more

The attendants lazily wipe down your windscreen and car, paying zero attention to what they're doing. These guys simply don't care. The conveyor belt takes your car away before they've even touched some of the windows and surfaces. For example they didn't even touch my wing mirrors. I used to come here and be fairly satisfied. However, more recently I have been super disappointed. The last time I visited I showed the attendant how dirty my car still was by wiping it with a white towel. The dirt was clearly visible. Pretty decent drive through car wash. Overall they do a good job but results can be spotty - pun intended. They have guys prep the car before going through the wash - prewash spray, wheel treatment, etc. That's something above and beyond most drive-thru's. The other day got home and noticed that the wheels on the driver side were nice and clean, but the passenger side wheels were still pretty dirty. And like most drive-thru washes, it doesn't fully dry. It will do in a pinch, when you are in a hurry, or if you don't feel your car deserves the $24 full service wash. read more
